This is only a take out place in downtown Bar Harbor and usually there is a line. They make their own bread for lobster rolls, so we were looking forward to it. But a good looking lobster roll does not always translate to a delicious one, and for us, The Stadium's was like that. Maybe different staff making them, make it taste differently? I say this because, one lady made my iced coffee with oat milk and caramel so amazing! I had to go back the following day. This time, a younger lady made it, and it was nowhere near the taste of the previous one. So, there was no consistency. read more

As a worker in the local hotel industry who has referred thousands of dollars to this place and a customer who spent roughly $50 a week in business each season, I must say it's quite sad they don't cater to the local community with a local discount let alone the rewards program they once had. Cookies, cookies everywhere, who has the fairest of them all? Despite the poor prose, the cookies at this place are in my top five nationally! The perfect combination of crisp and chew that melts in your mouth! Pair with a coffee and eat on site! Perfect size to share. We tried the chocolate chip, the oatmeal raisin and the peanut butter chocolate. Two trips.... Bonus was the blueberry donut and the popovers! Hats off to this talented bakery team. Iced Lattes - the Sand Beach and Precipice were both delicious. Espresso was smooth and rich. Mixed and balanced perfectly. Blueberry donut was incredible - it was a soft, fluffy and not-too-sweet. I didn't try the cinnamon roll but I drooled over it. While traveling, my wife and I like to try local coffee shops. Out of the dozens and dozens across the world this is a TOP 10. Stopped by The Stadium when visiting Bar Harbor this past weekend and picked up a 6 oz lobster roll, a popover with blueberry jam and maple butter, the blueberry green tea, and the hot cider. The food was delicious: the lobster and popover were both incredibly fresh. I loved how much lobster they manage to pack into the roll without adding too much mayo, allowing for the sweetness of the lobster to really speak for itself. The blueberry green tea was also amazing, with a pretty strong blueberry flavor that I was impressed by! The service was also extremely fast--I probably only waited about 5 minutes at most. The one thing to note is at least the first floor is a takeout spot, and I'm not 100% sure whether there's seating on other floors inside the restaurant. This wasn't too bad of an issue when it wasn't raining, so we ate at the park just a block or so down towards the water. However, this might have been more annoying if it had been raining! read more

Just came here for coffee, but enjoyed the service and food! The atmosphere when you walk in is very positive and the staff is very sweet! The menu has a ton of options and the pastries and baked goods look delicious. Prices are reasonable for what coffee cost these days. I got the cold brew coffee with oat milk which was nice and strong. We also got the lemon blueberry scones which were huge and had a ton of blueberries, but needed more lemon. read more

This was the best lobster roll I had the whole trip. Cooked perfectly nicely seasoned. A bit on the pricey side. Doesn't come in a traditional hot dog bun but a burger bun. I also got their famous popovers but didn't think it was particularly special. The blueberry jam was nice. read more

Too many lobster rolls that week so we ordered something else. We wanted something quick so we came across this place which seemed like a fast order downstairs and find seats upstairs deal. The servers were really friendly and delivered our tray to our table. We ordered the crab cake sandwich and the lobster bisque which came with cornbread. Crab cake tasted average. Seemed like it had more filler than crab compared to some others I've had. The bisque was creamy w more of a cheese like sauce and had a decent amount of lobster meat in it. Lobster tasted a bit overcooked and was rubbery. The corn bread was dry. A place to go to if you are hungry and want something fast. However not very satisfied w our meal esp as our expectations were greater seeing such high ratings on yelp. read more

What a fantastic find! We were staying downtown and wanted to find some cookies for a snack while hiking. We walked here one morning for breakfast and cookies and ended up coming back each morning to grab breakfast and cookies. The cookies were huge and delicious! Just finished our 4 day trip in Acadia National Park. We went to the Stadium our first night for dinner and we couldn't find any place better the next 3 nights. I had the lobster mac and cheese and it was a great ratio between lobster and macaroni. My brother had the lobster roll (MAKE SURE YOU GET IT WARM!!) and my sister had the crab sandwich. They both raved about their meal. Very friendly service and you can tell they take pride in their restaurant. Oh! And make sure you get a slice of their blueberry pie a la mode. I may or may not have had two. Definitely our favorite stop on this trip and if we are ever back we will be back for sure! read more

Amazing! Lobster roll with browned butter aioli is worth the 10 hour drive to Maine. The wonderful women at the register said the Stadium Lobster Roll is the most popular sandwich so I went for it.
