It's located in a really nice city center building with two levels and tons of shops (jewelry, liquor, clothing, several restaurants) on the lower level in the back with a main central area. Their communal bathroom upstairs for customers was a great surprise, clean, updated and smelled amazing! They have some interesting donuts on the menu and flavors rotate. The day we were there they had a carrot cake donut which I have never seen anywhere and it looked wonderful. My husband went with a safer option and just chose a glazed chocolate to take with him into the park for an after-hike snack. He said it was fresh, moist, and delicious. Love the concept and overall atmosphere of the place. We vacationed to Bar Harbor and stopped in here several times because of the Fruity Pebble donut. Coming from someone who doesn't usually enjoy cake donuts, the Fruity Pebble donut was hands down the best donut I have ever had in my life. The blueberry milkshake was also very good and made with wild Maine blueberries. The staff in there were very nice and welcoming. The only downside is it is a little bit on the pricier side, but that is to be expected in Bar Harbor. Great donut shop in the heart of Bar Harbor...located just one block from the waterfront along main street. Stopped in mid-week at around 11am (they are open 8am - 10pm daily) and there wasn't any lines in the small (take-out only) shop. Lots of interesting donut options ($2-$4), shakes ($8-$10), drinks ($4-$5), lattes ($7) and some other specialty items such as the "Donut Sundae" ($12). Absolute horrible service. Never got to try the anything from here because apparently I, as a customer, was an inconvenience. They open at 7 AM, I called at 6:59. I wanted to place an order for a dozen plain donuts for a group and they told me I needed to download an app to do that. I'm not downloading another app and creating an account to get all those spam emails for an order of freaking donuts. Such a great little spot! We popped in to grab a few unique donuts and found this place delightful. It is family owned, which is a great thing to support. They are also friendly and clearly enjoy talking to folks or giving recommendations. The donuts are unique and plentiful. We saw fruity pebbles, bacon maple and blueberry coffee cake along with more traditional glazed. Hidden gem in Bar Harbor. Literally! Walking along Main Street we saw a sign for donuts. Followed the sign that took us to a back alley and we found this shop. It's so cute with the graffiti theme. There was one employee there and she was so sweet. Very welcoming and friendly. It was hard to choose an option as there were many. We asked the employee what her favorite was and fortunately it was the one I wanted. We settled on the Samoa donut. A chocolate donut with coconut, chocolate and caramel on top. Well, we bought donuts here back to back on our trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia. We love these donuts, because they are crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside.
