It's located in a really nice city center building with two levels and tons of shops (jewelry, liquor, clothing, several restaurants) on the lower level in the back with a main central area. Their communal bathroom upstairs for customers was a great surprise, clean, updated and smelled amazing! They have some interesting donuts on the menu and flavors rotate. The day we were there they had a carrot cake donut which I have never seen anywhere and it looked wonderful. My husband went with a safer option and just chose a glazed chocolate to take with him into the park for an after-hike snack. He said it was fresh, moist, and delicious. Great donut shop in the heart of Bar Harbor...located just one block from the waterfront along main street. Stopped in mid-week at around 11am (they are open 8am - 10pm daily) and there wasn't any lines in the small (take-out only) shop. Lots of interesting donut options ($2-$4), shakes ($8-$10), drinks ($4-$5), lattes ($7) and some other specialty items such as the "Donut Sundae" ($12). Such a great little spot! We popped in to grab a few unique donuts and found this place delightful. It is family owned, which is a great thing to support. They are also friendly and clearly enjoy talking to folks or giving recommendations. The donuts are unique and plentiful. We saw fruity pebbles, bacon maple and blueberry coffee cake along with more traditional glazed. Everything was fresh with a ton of fun options, and then they also have a good selection of coffee, chai, etc. This spot is worth dropping in and getting breakfast or a snack. Hidden gem in Bar Harbor. Literally! Walking along Main Street we saw a sign for donuts. Followed the sign that took us to a back alley and we found this shop. It's so cute with the graffiti theme. There was one employee there and she was so sweet. Very welcoming and friendly. It was hard to choose an option as there were many. We asked the employee what her favorite was and fortunately it was the one I wanted. We settled on the Samoa donut. A chocolate donut with coconut, chocolate and caramel on top. Well, we bought donuts here back to back on our trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia. We love these donuts, because they are crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. So disappointing. My soft serve was tasteless and the heath bar topping was so old/expired that it was soft (not crunchy).

This place is a gem among breakfasts as long as you are not a diabetic or have issues with carbs. Any donut you choose is the best choice you can make, blueberry cobbler, Oreo, Apple Pie and the list goes on. They get you in and out pretty fast so it's best to check your hunger and know your selections before you get in line.
