They were very busy upon arrival, but we really had a short wait for what I expected. My husband gets black coffee always, but I enjoyed a delicious s'mores mocha. We both got breakfast sandwiches and they were huge - filling and so yummy. We were only in Bar Harbor for 1 day but we would have absolutely returned a few times if we had to stay longer. The Stadium provided a perfect spot where you can grab-n-go quickly without having to wait for a meal. It's right by the park which is a perfect spot to enjoy your food with a harbor view. Despite the line, they get you in and out in no time. I got a little bit of everything from savory to sweet and was impressed by all! The popover with blueberry jam- I was instantly stopped on the street when I pulled this out of my to-go bag. They are served with their homemade blueberry jelly, which I debated eating with a spoon. Luckily for my dignity, spoons were not provided! The lobster roll -- Out. Of. This. World! I have already had two others this trip and theirs has easily been my favorite one. I came here because I saw high reviews and there was a line to order. Their service was quick and I didn't have to wait long for the order with the amount of people in the shop. I got their lobster roll which had a heavy amount of mayo that was very greasy with the bread tasted more like hamburger buns and super dense. With the amount of mayo, it was too heavy. I can't enjoy the freshness and taste of lobster due to the amount of mayo. The staff was friendly but personally, I wouldn't come back for their sandwich or lobster rolls. read more

We arrived right around 9:04 and had waited in line, only to be told they had no popovers left. They wouldn't let us place an order or take our card, and told us we'd just have to wait for the next batch. We waited around, got back in line multiple times, and still weren't able to get enough popovers. When we finally did get one, it was burnt. Relieved to find almost no line at 10 am on a fall Saturday. Have grown absolutely tired of the crowds in Bar Harbor, this was a pleasant surprise. The popovers are enormous, gooey, buttery and eggy. I don't actually like eggs at all, so these were not for me but my husband and daughter loved. I thought it tasted quite similar to French toast. Definitely wanted to try popovers but was not interested in the difficulty of trying them at Jordan Pond House. The lemon blueberry scone was quite good, a bit small. My london fog had great flavor and I was happy to have a decaf option. The primary reason I would recommend this place is the oat cookie. Absolutely as good as a cookie can be - super buttery, not too sweet, lots of raisins, and chewy. And the kids loved the blueberry donuts, lots of granulated sugar on those guys. There's nowhere to sit inside but lots of benches nearby. Very cute inside with some local items also for sale. This is a worthy stop. read more

Fantastic bakery, to-go cafe and coffee shop! We were fortunate enough to come here every day on our 4 day stay in Bar Harbor. Sometimes even twice a day! They make the most delicious popovers, starting at 10am. They are served with blueberry jam and maple butter. Their chai and coffee is great too. Due to COVID, you order at the barista counter then get seated upstairs. The spacing for indoor dining is great! For each long table, groups are seated at alternating ends. Sanitizer, a sink, and paper towels are readily available. My friends and I all ordered Connecticut rolls w/ butter + mayo, which are warm compared to Maine ones, which are chilled lobster. It comes with chips and coleslaw. I usually hate coleslaw, but this one was actually palatable. The chips were not the best I've ever tasted; I think I actually prefer Lay's. For the lobster roll, arguably the most IMPORTANT part, I felt like it wasn't really worth $22.95 due to how small it was (though my photo doesn't really depict it that accurately). Regardless, the bread was phenomenal, and the lobster tasted pretty fresh. I also got the iced bubble tea--of which there was only one choice: Thai golden milk tea. I ordered this $5 20 oz mysterious drink that I wasn't allowed to customize, because I love bubble tea, and I'm always curious how different bubble teas taste like. The verdict: no. Just no. The tea itself was okay, but the bubbles were awful. Instead of a bouncy, chewy texture like they should be, I was able to bite through them extremely easily, and they tasted sort of like the fig part of fig newtons?? UPDATE: literally the day after I went, I ate there again and saw that it's just "Iced Milk Tea" now, and they have matcha latte, too. The Stadium's menu board is constantly being updated regarding things that have run out or are new. My friends ordered lobster bisques too, and it wasn't what they expected either. More liquidy than the typical creamy bisque, and there was an unfamiliar spice thrown in there. I didn't like it, plus it smelled a bit like plastic. The cornbread it comes with was good though! I didn't try any of the pastries, so I would be open to coming back for that, and maybe some more lobster-related things, as The Stadium also has Lobster Mac and Cheese, Lobster BLT, and more. read more

I tried the Maple Leaf, precipice, sand beach, and moose track lattes. Each one was not overly done which I really appreciated. We had the best afternoon snack ever! Warm, fresh, blueberry pie ala mode. They make their own pie! Long bench table in the middle of the restaurant with pictures of stadiums on one wall and local scenes on the other wall. Pay at the counter and they bring the food to you. Nice people too. They serve Lobster Rolls, Hot Dogs, Beers, Pies... quick Americana faire in a clean, bright surrounding on Main Street. Great place for an impromptu meal or dessert without the fuss of a formal restaurant. Use the magnifying glasses to look at the stadium pictures. Also had live lobsters in tanks at the front of the establishment. Had a Calico and lighter Color Lobster which are rarer.
