    Pretzels and sandwiches

No wonder it has the lowest rating in the area. Got double charged 3000 during a party for amazing food they supply(pretzels, sandwiches, nuggets) , management of this place is horrible, no issues with the workers good luck to them. Do not eat there

Ehhhh.. Irish Wanna Be Irish Pub.. Brunch menu till 4 on a Saturday!? Wanted fish & chips or hunters pie, What a let down set menu with breakfast food till 4PM. Will say they pour a good Guinness. Had a traditional American appetizer nothing Irish on this menu at this time. Service was good but semi robotic and not warm. If you want Irish food don't come here on a Saturday till after 4PM...

My friend suggested coming here Ford brunch after aimlessly driving around. It's was such a great choice! I got the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon on a waffle bc I'm not a huge English muffin person and OMG best I've had! She got the French toast which she loved it and looked so good too!

There are a lot of saints out there, but one that I always hear about is St. James. On Long Island you'll find that name all over, between the hamlet/town, brewery, and a few restaurants. This (or The) St. James happens to be located in Mineola and was dinner for my girlfriend and I a few weeks ago. The consensus was this St. did a bang up job. For starters, The St. James totally taps into that tavern/pub feel. The decor and setup is cozy and there's a hint of "regulars" that keep the place busy. Luckily, it wasn't too hoppin' on a Thursday night and so we sat right away. Our initial waiter came by, asked us about drinks, took our order, and then disappeared. Well, we saw him again, but in street clothes and probably at the end of his shift. A different waiter (waitress) picked up our table and was friendly enough. Part of why we came was my mother raving about their French onion soup and my girlfriend desiring it. We began with a crock of that and it definitely hit the spot with its cheesy topping and tasty broth. For main meals, the GF went for the grilled chicken tidbits and I ended up in the water with fish and chips. Her tidbit sandwich had tender chicken pieces with crispy onion straws and melted mozzarella on garlic bread. I took a bite and found it was a great combo of flavors. My fish scared me at first from its shape as they almost looked a little too formed (i.e. perhaps they were frozen), but upon first bite it tasted the exact opposite of this. Nice and flaky fish with some good tarter and fresh coleslaw on the side made for a lovely meal. Oh and don't forget the thick cut French-ish fries that came with both our meals. Overall, The St. James brought a little more meaning into the name through a delicious dinner and comfortable setting. Prices were also legitimate though we were rockin' a Groupon so many of our dollars stayed safe in our wallets. Regardless, I'd pay full price for this meal and probably will one day because a return trip is in order. Now if only they could start selling St. James beer....

I had to change plans quickly as I looked at the specials they had going on that day wow! We decided to go with the duck and the monkfish main course entrees instead. Life is about making the right choices and this was the best decision I made that day lol! The duck was cooked to perfection soft on the inside crispy on the outside wow! I really like how juicy and fatty the duck was very succulent and delicious yummy. I especially liked the wine sauce on top among taste sweet with a slight tart to it juts the right balance I was impressed. Definitely one of the best duck dishes I've ever had it's a special so I'm not sure if it will be available when you decide to go call ahead would be my suggestion and your best bet. Laslty the side with butter squash was also a delight to eat and treat! Second course was the monkfish which was great as well. It had a slightly Smokey flavor to my pallet and a slight crunch on the outside maybe it was torched or seared not sure. Whatever the case it was a great touch to the dish very tasty and juicy as well. I love the sauce and the sides were great mashed potatoes with broccoli yummy! I highly recommend this place for brunch, lunch, or dinner take your pick. They will not disappoint you at all that's for sure. I'm not sure how this place is in the evening as I've only gone during the day. I hope the chef gets to read this and know his work is appreciated and noticed! The staff and waiters are very accommodating and knowledgeable about the entrees and food in general. Great service and energy I will come again and repeat whenever possible. I liken the music they play in the background it's not too loud and always sets a great tone for the place. The windows bring in great light and the decor is tasteful and elegant gives a bistro vibe to me personally. You might think differently let us know anyway. They even gave us a champagne toast with our meal to celebrate our bride-to-be. They were also very accommodating of various dietary restrictions, and our waitress was patient in explaining which substitutions could be made. We had the huevos rancheros, the BEC, the cheddar scramble, and their cheesy grits, as well as the warm biscuits and jam. Everything was a hit! The only element where they faltered a little was that it got rather busy right after we arrived for brunch, and the waitstaff struggled to keep up, so we were often left waiting for service for quite some time. But the rest of the experience outshined that one element. I definitely plan to go back!

The fries were fantastic in every way. The chili was delicious, the bacon was fantastic and crispy, the cheese was melted fantastically, the gravy and cheddar were delicious. In every way these were fantastic, and they gave enough for a meal! The corned beef was a bit hard, but that's a personal preference and by no means bad. Cooked very well, had fantastic flavor, and the bread was great too. The fries were very soft and crispy, and everything was great overall. The garlic bread was delicious, incredibly buttery, all the items in stew were soft but not too soft, and all of them were fantastic. The potatoes, the celery, the carrots, the onion, and the beef were all wonderful. The stew was a bit hot, but there's nothing wrong with that as that's the point of ordering food! The irish bread was delicious. It was soft but also crispy in every bite, it was definitely made fresh that night. The bar was full but we still managed to get a table, the service was very attentive, we got refills quickly, the food came out hot and fresh, and was absolutely wonderful, this place is absolutely a hidden gem that deserves all the business it can get.

It is located right on Jericho Turnpike and while there is no dedicated lot, there is plenty of street parking on Jericho Turnpike and the side streets. You can feel the electricity in the air as soon as you walk in. Cornerstone is especially great on game days as there are more TV screens around than I can count. This evening we came in for a light snack and knew exactly what we were having. Onion soup and wings. The waiter / bartender let us sit for a while to talk and relax then took our order. Onion soup with the cheese grilled just a little more than usual and wings just a little more crispy than usual. Soup was amazing and my wife and I really enjoyed it. The wings were delicious and perfectly cooked. We definitely need to comeback and try some other menu items especially their burgers which I hear are amazing. I was alone and despite being semi-crowded, there wasn't a wait. This place definitely gives a hole in the wall vibe and that's what I wanted. There are plenty of "brunch vibes" in Long Island and that's not what I was looking for today. Service was super prompt and the food came quick, less than 10 minutes. I ordered the Mexican omelette which was eggs, shredded chicken and oaxacan cheese. I expected the chicken and cheese to be cooked into the omelette - it was actually an egg omelette with the chicken and cheese folded inside. No complaints though; when I had enough eggs, I was able to eat just the chicken. It was well seasoned and not doused in cheese, which I appreciated. Note to self: no sour cream next time. It was unnecessary. The omelette came with a side of home fries. The home fries were the perfect mix of soft and crispy, with onions and peppers. They tasted great. It also came with toast and I added avocado, and made avocado toast... YUM. I had an iced coffee on the side. Nothing special about the coffee- not good or bad. They had almond milk and sugar-free vanilla... yay! Lastly, I took a sausage omelette with sweet potato chips to go for my son and he loved it. I would definitely come back.
