Pumpkin Spice Latte
Kea A.

The Smoothie Garden is becoming one of my favorite smoothie shops! The customer service is always amazing -- the owner is so friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel right at home. The ambiance is cozy and creative. The crab grilled cheese is a must-try -- rich, gooey, and full of flavor with a side of tomato soup. Don't miss their Pumpkin Spice Latte (seasonal perfection!) and the $5 Smoothie Tuesdays from 3pm-5pm -- unbeatable deal for something fresh and delicious.

Tried a couple of their blends of Italian ice at an event they catered. They were a big hit! Will definitely be visiting their shop. I know Tuesdays is $5 smoothie, and I've passed by and seen the carved fruit bowls. Very creative and tasty!

This is such a delicious smoothie place. The owner Montana, she is so lovely and friendly and she's always around. She has a very friendly staff and this is a BLACK OWNED small business! I got the Berry Me with yogurt and it was so good. The facility is so clean and has plenty of good vibes, I highly recommend coming here.

This is such a cute smoothie spot on light st. I got the berry me smoothie and a green machine juice. The smoothies were made fresh and the juices were located in the fridge up front. Both were delicious. I also saw they had fruit popsicles that looked good. I'll definitely revisit to try some of their sandwich options and another smoothie.

I randomly parked in front of this cute little venue and was instantly drawn in to the bright happy colors. I popped in to be nosy but had plans and couldn't order anything that visit. However, I returned yesterday, 8/6, to sample a smoothie (though this place does offer some bites). I ended up going with the Mango Madness and it was exceptionally good, but I was definitely debating getting the Blendtopia and the Yes Garden, so I'll be back for those. Customer service was lovely, I felt seen and taken care of here. And I sat in the cute little space to drink my smoothie, which was also lovely. Looking forward to returning to try other smoothies and food here. Oh, plus woman-owned, Black business. Say less!

Harvest Acai Bowl

How might one describe this? You would think the smoothie garden would have better smoothies than Jamba, Smoothie King, or Tropical Smoothie but it does not. I got the Açaí bowl, when I tasted it it had a terrible after taste, reminds me of when ur sick and u take cough medicine. The smoothie base tasted like the after taste of cough medicine. 0/10. It was not good at all, I have nothing nice to say. Maybe that the blueberries were firm, but the bananas were literal mush. You could see 3 pieces and the rest were stuck together. Those bananas were supposed to be used for banana bread bread not a smoothie bowl. Yall have to do way better!

It's a smallish space and indoor seating was really full at 11 AM on a weekday. Because of rain, the outdoor benches were not in use, and I saw closed-up patio-umbrellas too. I ordered from a kiosk or you could order online or in person. I got the bacon egg and cheese croissant and it was made quickly by welcoming staff. It was a regular size croissant with very light cheese and a layer of crispy bacon pieces in a well toasted croissant. The flavor was good. This café also sells a number of beverages, including fresh ground espresso, and various teas And they sell some bakery goods, candies, and quite a variety of dry-packaged teas and coffee. The parking right in front Café Jun can get pretty full, but there's plenty parking in the rest of the shopping center. You can enter the shopping area from eastbound US-40 Baltimore National Pike, or from westbound Frederick Road. It's just east of Centennial Lane/Bethany Lane and about a mile West of US 29. The larger shopping area has a diner 3-strip mall sections, one of which is called Princess Shopping Center, so I'm a little confused which mall-name covers which shops. They have a summer concert planned! That should be fun!

People do seem to respect the 90MIN seating window though so you should be able to find a seat. You order and pay at the counter first and then they give you a table number card. This is how they find you to serve your food. I ordered a regular matcha latte, a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on croissant bread and their famous croffle. I loved their matcha latte. It's pre-sweetened so no need to add extra vanilla syrup or anything. This does not taste like a traditional matcha, which in my opinion tastes like dirt. This is a sweeter, dessert like matcha. I didn't care for the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. It was kind of dry and it tasted like something was missing. The croffle was amazing. It has a nutty, pecan like taste to it and it was topped with vanilla gelato and blueberries. I couldn't really taste the maple syrup but it was delicious nonetheless.

The only issue I had was with their hours... online and on the door it showed they open at 8am, so the second day I visited slightly after 8 and I was surprised to find they had changed their hours in the window to 10am. Not sure what that's about.

See a juice bar, go to the juice bar -- at least, that's what they say, right?…read more On my mid-day study break, I took a walk around the neighborhood and stumbled upon D's, which was open! I love juice, and thought this would be a great little boost to get me through the rest of the day. The place was empty when I walked in, aside from one staff member sitting at a table in the corner. I headed straight to the board to take a look at the offerings. I stood at the counter looking around for at least 5 minutes until a staff member in the back alerted the staff member sitting at the table. After some internal conversation, one of the staff members approached the counter and asked for my order. I didn't find this to be incredibly professional. Before ordering, I wanted to ask how large the servings were and if they could make any substitutions. I wasn't dazzled by the staff member's lackadaisical attitude and curt responses. To me, that expresses that me ordering is inconveniencing them. At the end of the day, I settled for a purple passion smoothie. I asked for a little extra ice and was glad that they were able to accommodate my request. The smoothie tasted alright. Perhaps the establishment had an off day, and I'm sure the environment would be more exciting without a pandemic because the interior is bright and inviting. I believe in second chances, and if I were to return, I might try one of their raw juices. Hoping for a better experience next time!
