I appreciate that this business does give Dmv the notice for pass. All I had to do was go the following day to one of those kiosk that have DMV and got my registration right away. The gentleman we dealt with was short and somewhat flippant when explaining why the smog could not be completed due to an issue with the catalytic converter. A bit more time and willingness to explain the issue clearly would have gone a long way, rather than assuming the customer should already understand technical details. Because the issue was related to emissions, we asked about the type of repair work that might be needed to address the problem and potentially allow the vehicle to pass smog. We were prepared to move forward, but the response felt dismissive, as though our questions or business were not of interest. The price for the smog itself was reasonable, but the lack of clear communication and the overall tone left us with the impression that we were an inconvenience rather than customers looking for help. Ultimately, that confirmed we won't be back.
