Great service. Would definitely use their location again. Everything was fast and efficient.

My husband walked in with no appt and they were fast and friendly. We have taken both cars here and were happy both times.

Came in for a smog. Friendly greeting and took my truck back. It needed to be driven because the battery was just replaced so they told me to come back after I drove it at least 50 miles. They didn't charge me for that. I returned they took it back got it smogged. No hassles. Great place! read more

My car was from out of state and they made the registration process so easy. Takes time as I'm sure a lot of people come here instead of the DMV, but it's a fraction of the time at the actual DMV. Gave a discount on the smog check too. Highly recommend! read more

Love this place, so fast, cheap , closer to my house, very recommended. Super place. 5stars read more

Smog Check Hut - Super place, desk - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Modesto, California

I am extremely pleased with the quality of service from Smog Hut, Harpal was kind efficient and valuable he had me in and out and back on the road with my tag in hand, I usually go down to my AAA office but he was even faster and more efficient than them. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SMOG HUT FOR YOUR SMOG CHECK AND REGISTRATION TAGS! read more

I've been here twice , and couldn't smog the car because I was told I had to run the car more since codes were cleared. Love that he was honest , and could've easily failed it but instead told me to the issue so I didn't waste money . Ran it , passed smog and paid registration there. Cost about 30 more to do dmv things , and 70 for the smog check. This guy will be upfront and do the service fairly. He's a one man show , and works as quickly as he can. Much props to this business read more

Quick service and welcoming staff. Was told the appointment would take about 15 minutes so I said I'd grab a drink at Starbucks in the same parking lot. By the time I got back, the test and certificate were taken care of. The gentleman helping me also reminded me of the $20 off coupon on Yelp or the website. Would definitely recommend this shop. read more

Came in for an oil change sometime last week on a busy afternoon. Still ONE of the fastest services I've ever gotten. All the staff members were so kind! As soon as I parked my car, Noah came up to help me immediately. Super welcoming!!:) As I was waiting for my oil change, he would come and check up on me keeping me updated, asking if I was okay with pricing, & informing me about other car issues. He even sat down and explained everything to me. VERY HONEST business!!!! That's all customers need. He gave me other options/ business cards on where to go for my car trouble and to avoid expensive dealerships. I don't know much about cars, so He wrote everything down on paper breaking it down so I wouldn't forget. I never experienced such great customer service from a car shop. Other places have turned me down saying I need an appointment or has had me wait over an hour for my service. Thank you so much NOAH AND TEAM!! :D highly recommended this place!!! 10/5 rating! read more

Drove ride up no appointment, Got car checked in less than 15 min. Decent Price after the online coupon. Would definitely recommend.

Thanks Team My husband has been going into Performance for yrs, and has now recommended a lot of friends and family. A) He never waits hours like all other places . B) We have never had issues with bad work, or the DMV waiting on smog certifications C) He's in and out of so fast for service he doesn't have an issue with walking home or asking for a ride back to p/u our car. Was in search of a reputable smog station in the area -- but more importantly in search of one with highly rated user reviews... and the verdict is... this place does not disappoint! As one user reviewed: I was in and out within 20 minutes. And that was my story when it came to the task of getting my vehicle smogged for registration renewal. Mission accomplished. However for the detail: Very easily accessible. Right off highway 99. Clean little plaza; as Smog Hut is next to several other automotive repair facilities. Super clean area. There's a Starbucks, 7/11 and a Taco Bell adjacent from this outfit within a stones throw. You could easily get yourself a coffee, lunch or a snack while your vehicle is tested. Staff: I happened to be there and the owner himself was working (filling in for an employee on vacation). Over the years I've learned: One can get a pretty good understanding of a business, expectations, service levels and general experience -- from the character and nature of the owner. Which typically mirrors how he/ she run their business. Preet greeted me right away. There were two cars ahead of mine -- despite being busy; he took the time to greet me which was a very nice gesture. Very polite, kind, sincere and respectful. Treated my vehicle with utmost respect and diligence. I couldn't have asked for more. I will absolutely use this outfit going forward .. I highly recommend that if you're in need of a smog - this is the place to visit! read more

Great place with good and respectful employees. They have the customers best interest in mind unlike other shops.

Dropped by on a busy afternoon with several people in line ahead of me. The man working there said it would be 20-25 mins before he could get to me, but I figured it would be more like 40-45 (because they always tell you a shorter time frame to keep your business). I decided to wait since I didn't have a backup plan, but I used that time to look up other smog places anyways. To my surprise, 20 minutes on the dot, my car was serviced. It was a simple, fast, and professional experience, and I highly recommend going here if you are looking for a well-run business to trust your car needs to. read more

Went here for a smog after another smog place tried to charge me another $50 for test my car again. This place was fast first smog charge $50 and if it fails you can bring it back and they only charge you $9. Service was fast and they are very attentive to their customers. I would recommend this place. read more

These guys are the best! They went above & beyond the call of duty. One stop car shop! Ck em out they get it done.

Every time we've needed a smog it's been quick in and out. Their pricing is the best in town.

I've been coming here for years. It wasn't until Tommy purchased the place that customer service became priority! I recently for the first time in my life had a vehicle fail smog. I called the shop to get more information since I had my daughter take in the truck, that failed. I appreciate the time and concern he took to explain the process and steps I needed to get my vehicle passed again. Great guy! I've also have left my other vehicles in the past during the day when I couldn't wait due to work. I 100% recommend this establishment! It's not everyday you get great customer service and honesty! read more
