Second time coming here and I'm always in and out within 30 minutes. Pedro serviced me and he gave great customer service. Answered all my questions professionally and brought my car out super quick! This place used to take Groupon (I used it two years ago), but doesn't look like it is available anymore. I was pretty disappointed about that let alone if you have an older vehicle. Fortunately, I was still able to check in on Yelp and utilize a $15 off coupon, which brought down my total. The main point here is try getting there early so you can get out early. There is only 4 parking spots that's all! If you get here late expect a 1.5 hour wait to get smog. In all, the receptionist guy was friendly to me but the dude smogging cars is kind of an (ass) telling people where to park. The price was very competitive compared to all other smogs I called. This place only has two regular parking spots and one handicap parking spot. If these parking spots are full and I park somewhere else I always get kicked out. I parked in the back of the building today and they kicked me out. I wasn't even blocking anybody. One time I parked two inches over the regular parking space line out front and they made me move my car. It's never easy to park here as you pull off of Wylie Drive . It's a very sharp turn. The short guy had the nerve to tell me to go park in a space that wasn't even a valid parking space. I would have been halfway parked on the sidewalk. Go figure. These guys are unprofessional. I'm tired of being harassed by the short guy. I'm taking my business elsewhere. I went to A &A Smogs off of Oakdale Road. They are much more professional and have more parking spots. I had my smog done at A & A Smogs faster than I can find a parking spot at Smogs Unlimited. I could give Smogs Unlimited 0 stars I would. Today I had to bring my sons car in for a smog check. I walked into an irate woman just because the vehicle she purchased from another party wasn't honest to her about the vehicle. The gentleman who was explaining to them what the issue was, all she could is threaten him with posting a bad review. I'm from the area but have not lived here for over a decade and sad to see people threaten these mom and pop shops because they do their homework. I would highly recommend this place. I came here to get my smog done since I usually take all my cars here. I got here at 1220 on a Sunday and the door was closed. I went inside to ask, the gentleman said they go to lunch from 1220 to 1pm. I told him the door says they close at 1pm. He said no and to come back at 1. I waited for 30 min, guess what? My 20 year old car that is usually maintained by my personal mechanic... ( My husband ) had a code we just couldnt get rid of.. we are no dummies and usually do all work.. ( im mostly the research dept ).. so we do all our own work from water pumps to timing chains, reading codes and changing out sensors, even over hauling the a.c. a few years ago. So we mostly know our stuff. I am weary of paying others to work on it. They checked out the sensors we had replaced and replaced them and they still had the codes like we did. We had suspected the computer, and it was good to see that was what they also had suspected. They had to order it a remanufactured one given the age of the car. Once they installed it and programmed it we got the call, the car was ready to be picked up. ...AND it had passed smog! I would reccommend them to anyone. Professional, explained everything even though we really didnt need an explanation.. ( how would they know what kind of knowlede we had?? ). I came the first time and my car didn't pass the smog test, the lady told me the next time I came it would be 10$, I came in about a month later and they told me it would cost the same amount because I didn't come back soon enough, it cost me 60$ instead of 10$ because of a lack of communication on there part, I wouldn't recommend this place!! read more

I am giving 4 stars out of 5 only because of the difficulty I had getting into your business. I was Southbound on Oakdale Rd when I noticed the sign saying "Smog" with an arrow pointing right. Following that sign into the driveway put me into the lot with the car wash next door. Then trying to get over to you business I ended up trying to go around the back, most businesses have an alley access. By the time I realized you can't get through there, I was stuck in a line of vehicles going to the car wash. I had to fight my way back out and would have gone elsewhere had I not had a coupon. Fortunately. once I did get into your business, everything was much more pleasant. Alicia was very kind and friendly, and service was fast and easy. Just change the sign, please! read more

First timer here. Got there just before the doors opened for the day. He was on time, super professional and super quick. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes and my old car passed with no problems. And he had no problem honoring my coupon. There's at least two other local smog shops I can think of who kinda give an attitude when you bring up the coupon. There's at least two other local smog shops who will fail you the first time and offer a "half off retest".. In which I went back without changing anything at all and passed. All a scam. Worst place I have ever had my vehicle smogged. The attendant filed the certification type incorrectly which caused my truck to fail. I had to go to three different mechanics including Dodge to finally figure out the attendant was too incompetent to smog a vehicle.
