Great little dinner! Reasonable priced. Great food! It's a little hard to find with GPS, it's worth it! Great service. Old timey dinner setting.

Truck stop diner in industrial area of Elizabeth near port. Convenient location. Not fancy but good wholesome food. Only go if in area and need to eat. Good service . Ambience of 59 year old diner not renovated since opening.

Solo diner, middle age white female here. Stopped for food before long term parking drop off at Newark Airport due to flight delays. Totally safe, clean and DEElish food, GREAT coffee, friendly service, polite customers. This is the real deal and I'm almost happy my flight got delayed. They don't make 'em like this anymore, stop by if you're in the area, you won't regret it, lots of Latin influenced options as well, which I love.

I was trying to find a spot near Newark airport before my flight and stumbled across this unexpected gem. Our server Mari was the sweetest thing and hustling during rush hour lunch. We ordered Turkey club, cheesesteak and tuna wrap and all were so yummy with choice of soup, fries or onion rings.

    Under $20 what a great deal !!

Filthy dirty. I walked into the bathroom during breakfast and someone was cleaning up from the night before. There were feminine bodily fluids and vomit everywhere. He let me go in the bathroom he was cleaning and there was soiled toilet paper EVERYWHERE. The food wasn't good either. Bland and flavorless. I wish we'd gone to the diner across the street instead.

    Live from the kitchen.

Good food. Came by and got breakfast on the way to the airport. Large portions, great taste, highly recommend. Priced well below other restuarants.

Everyone was very kind and my waitress was sweet. Clean, had the chicken club and it was good; portions were huge and the price is right.

Decent prices...chincey on the servings...loud music...but friendly staff. Weird that you can walk through to a club.

Luckily I saw this place again on the way back and I knew I had to have it. I ended up getting the Club on a Sub hot sandwich, and I must say, it did not disappoint! The flavors worked well together, the sauce brought it home. I wanted to eat half and save the other for later, but I couldn't help it. Even though I was full beyond belief (one sub could feed 2 people), it was definitely worth it. Service was quick, you can order on your phone, they call out your name like a Starbucks. Each sub can be modified to your liking. And they offer drinks, chips and plenty of extras to go with your sub. It's a small restaurant, but had plenty of seating, with chargers (it is inside an airport after all). Food came out quick, hot and delicious. Would come back again to try other subs. I kinda wish they sold in halves, so I can try more flavors in one go. Welp, until next time!

I was early for my 755pm flight back to IAD, given the tsa issue but got through precheck quicker than expected, which then give me a chance to lounge a bit. Was not able to use United Club so... Let's get right to the low score--Worst of all, the bartender at this concourse A at EWR was almost hostile, unwelcoming... bar was not full i was using an extra stool for my purse when he came over touched my luggage and moved it behind my chair, then told hastily to take my bag off the extra stool next to my seat. Now realized he did not even greet me when I approached; thus, the unwelcoming behavior at the outset. He did not approach me nor look at my direction until almost a good 5 minutes later when i finally called him for service. Shame that it was centrally located along other bars/restaurants in A terminal but with this unfriendly attitude-even the two ladies sitting a few chairs on my left looked unhappy and almost hesitant as they were also told to keep their purses off the stools next to them. Gentleman to my right was alone and friendly and tried to engage me in a conversation but it felt awkward-it was simply a bad vibe. I took only a few bites of my turkey sandwich which was bland and overpriced for the quality $29, my brut was $22, so that over $50 stop was the worst layover drink/bite i've ever had. Luckily or unluckily, depending on which to look at it, my terminal switched back to C--and by the way had better options? maybe. At this point however, i've lost my appetite. Definitely one of the worst airport lounge experience..

(And that ATM machine at the corner? It looks like it'll not only steal your identity but your soul as well.) My last visit (2023-ish) I tried their 'combo' (one hot dog, one sausage) which was... okay. But when they're slinging a double Italian hot dog? They're firing on all cylinders. Tommy's is not shy to pile a wicked amount of grub into that pizza bread. The hot dogs kind of get lost under a mountain of deep-fried and oily (but delicious) sliced spuds. (I do wish they weren't so stingy with the peppers and onions to really balance out the meal.) The 'Holy Trinity' when it comes to Italian hot dogs in North Jersey is a no-brainer... Dickie Dee's, Jimmy Buff's and Tommy's. (For me - no one comes close to Dickie Dee's but my one kid said Tommy's was his [current] fave.) As for that couple that came cashless? A good Samaritan behind me pulled out a wad of cash (it's not wise to pull out a fistful of cash anywhere you go but it's ESPECIALLY not wise when you're in the rough and tumble streets of Elizabeth, let's be real) and after swapping Venmo information everything was a-okay. Take-out/to-go only. Parking is atrocious. Guy behind the glass - always aces. (Oh, and... cash only!)
