    Biscuit With Gravy & Eggs

A great, classic Jersey diner! Fast, friendly service and a nice menu of classic diner items to choose from. They even have a Latin breakfast menu with items like a chorizo burrito or breakfast quesadillas! I went with one of my favorite diner breakfasts, biscuits and sausage gravy with eggs and they were on par with most good ones that I've had. Biscuits were amazing, not too thick or dry, sausage gravy was creamy and savory with the perfect amount of peppery taste. The onions and peppers that you can choose to include or leave out of the Homefries is a nice touch and the Homefries themselves were great! Eggs were super fluffy as well! Retro diner look inside and plenty of pastries, desserts and cakes to pick from in the case. All around great diner!

Was about to catch an early flight at EWR and this was a convenient place because of its proximity to the airport. They open at 6:00 am and offer first come first serve seating. Breakfast menu items had big portions and not priced too high. My friend's steak and eggs were good, but the grits were not so great. My salmon cakes weee good, but I think I would prefer crab cakes next time. The home fries were good, especially with the onions and green peppers on top. Parking here is in a small parking lot, but it can be a little tricky to enter depending on the street flow of traffic. Ambiance is typical diner experience. Definitely worth the time to have breakfast vice in the airport.

Insanely delicious Reuben sandwich! The back was sunny side eggs with bacon, and pancakes. All was so good!

Delicious food and authentic NJ diner experience at Seaport Diner!! I got the Reuben sandwich with fries, it was huge and had amazing flavor - the corned beef was tender, the cheese melty, rye bread was toasty, and the sauerkraut with Russian dressing made it perfect. Plus it was open face, a really unique touch, served with crunchy pickles, sauerkraut and yummy fries. A feast for sure! My family for sunny side eggs (perfectly cooked) with crispy bacon and pancakes. They were super happy, said it was delicious. The location is perfect for a meal near Newark airport. The service was great, food was served nice and hot, place was clean. And you get that cool New Jersey diner vibe with leather booths and cool bar seating. I definitely recommend Seaport Diner - we will be back!!

Seaport Diner is near the airport and port. Mostly frequented by those working in area. Old style diner with booths and counter seating. Probably holds 50 guests. Food was surprisingly good,

Seaport Diner is serving up straight flavor explosions this Easter weekend! We started with their Combo Platter--basically a fried food dream: crispy buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks, mac & cheese wedges, chicken fingers, and golden fries, with all the dips. Perfect way to kick things off!! For drinks, you have to try the Cotton Candy Milkshake--it's a whole show with marshmallows, sprinkles, and a cotton candy cloud on top! And the Watermelon Kool-Aid? Must order!! Cozy vibes continued with their Seafood Bisque, creamy, rich, and loaded with flavor, served with crackers on the side From the Easter menu: * Juicy Pork Chops with baked potato topped with mashed potatoes (yes, both!), plus sautéed veggies * And the Lamb Gyro--tender and flavorful, Easter classic with a twist Can't wait to be back!

What a way to close out our trip! We stopped in at this little diner since it was super close to the airport. The waitress Cynthia had the cutest accent true girl from Jersey! We had a lot of luggage with us and they didn't seem to mind. The place is cute and small but not too small, feels homey! And is really clean! Right away the waitress came by for our drinks and their menu looked so good! It was raining so obviously my little one went with hot chocolate and it was perfect. She had a waffle with bacon, my mom had the farmers omelette with had all veggies and toast my boyfriend had a country fried steak I had a meat lovers omelette. The portions were huge, and everything was absolutely AMAZING. The potatoes were so good, they don't make them that way on the west coast. The gravy over the steak was sooooo delicious we dipped everything in that sauce. We really enjoyed our meal and the price was. Super reasonable for a party of 4. Def a must in NEWARK!

Some pals and I came to this spot traveling back to NYC and were looking for a good spot to eat. One pal mentioned the diner and we decided to give it a shot. And we were glad we did. The great old school vibe of a small diner was felt in here. When we first walked in, I saw the place and the vibe I got was the diner scene in "Superman II". Only thing missing was the pinball machine. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and even recommended their likes from the kitchen. For me, diner means good burgers. And this one was excellent. Two of us did burgers, the other chicken wrap. And we really enjoyed the food. Place is very clean, prices are very reasonable and just the simplicity of the restaurant makes it great. Simple place, the food usually is of excellent quality. Too much attention getting decor, hit or miss and usually a miss happens more often. I especially enjoy when the boss gives attention to all the customers just as much as the wait staff. Big plus in my book. They have private parking and the surrounding area is mainly industrial being right by the port area and outskirts of Newark-Liberty Airport but this little diner is worth going to for a good meal and especially excellent coffee.

Stopped by for breakfast after dropping someone at the airport. Pleasant atmosphere. We got the breakfast burger and the huevos rancheros. Food was tasty. Coffee pretty good and strong. Nice place.

It was a large menu, including a very diverse selection of pancakes, as is their name. Just a nice diner vibe, and everybody was friendly and helpful. I decided to go for the loaded baked potato omelette. I had had a mashed potato omelette at another jersey diner, which I liked, so I decided to try this one. The omelette was fantastic. It had potatoes, bacon, cheese, and sour cream. Just like you'd find an a loaded baked potato. The eggs were tender, as were the potatoes, and all of the fillings played very well with each other. It was an absolute fantastic breakfast. As if I didn't need enough potatoes, it also came with home fries on the side, which were also tender and delicious. The coffee was very good, and they kept my cup full. The prices are reasonable, although there is a small up charge if you pay with plastic, instead of cash. They also offer a military/veteran discount. I would love to come back. Thank you.

I'm traveling through NJ alone today, so I pull off I-78 in Maplewood and find the Park Wood Diner. This is an old school corner diner with a rear wraparound parking lot that's locally popular. I grab a seat at the counter and start checking out the menu. The breakfast menu card is tabloid sized and filled with choices on both sides and is available all day. I'm afraid to see what the lunch and dinner menu looks like. One of my breakfast favorites is corned beef hash and I get it with 2 eggs sunny side up with home fries and white toast. I love laying the oozy yolk onto a slice of toast and if there's any bread left, use it to sop up any runny yolk left on the plate. Of course, the yolk runs onto the hash and home fries, too. After this leisurely filling breakfast, can I even think about lunch or maybe dinner? I'll have to make a point to come back to see what's in store on the lunch menu. Maybe a pastrami or corned beef on rye or a comforting meatloaf? See you next time!
