Pub is very old, but this latest iteration / owner has been since the early 2000s. Looks like an Irish pub, but the menu / kitchen is family-style Italian restaurant. Portions are BIG. Prices are FAIR! This place ROCKS! I had the Caesar salad, stuffed mushrooms, & 1/2 order of chicken parm. All of it was awesome. Thur's are also Lobster Thur's, & they have like 15+ lobster preparations to choose from. I wish I lived upstairs - I would come here every day. They also have a lotto machine, so you can get a scratch off with dessert. Note: they are next to a school, & parking is hard to come by on weekdays until 4pm, but not impossible. Most of my adventures are weekday late mornings & lunch tho, & the staff helped me find street parking (!). Best of NYC !!!!

I ordered a regular Penne Vodka, my friend had the chicken parm, IMMEDIATELY that same night I woke up Vomiting. I had all the symptoms of Food poisoning and this place GAVE it to me and my friend who also experienced stomach issues. I will never come back to this disgusting place, do not trust their food and watch what you eat here. Should be closed down!

The husband brought me here to celebrate our one month of marriage. It's a neighborhood, old school…read moresteakhouse and bar. It almost feels like a place you stumble into in a small town from a hallmark movie. It's a spot with locals enjoying dinner or solo men having a drink at the bar. To start, the table got some complimentary rustic bread with a maple butter. The bread was good, but wished the butter was more soft. It was all crumbly and hard to smear onto the bread. For the meal, we ordered the Porterhouse Steak for 2 ($115) and a side of Lobster Mac & Cheese ($24). The steak was presented beautifully on a plate all sliced up for you. There was a nice seared crust, which gave it a nice amount of saltiness that it didn't need sauce with this. I was quite impressed with the mac and cheese, which could be a main dish all by itself from the portion size. The macaroni is cheesy and velvety while being loaded with lobster. I loved the chunks of lobster pieces in this, which is well worth the upgrade. Overall, a nice spot on Staten Island with an old school vibe. The steaks are as pricey as Manhattan steakhouses though, but good for locals not wanting to make the trek. Check out their weekday specials for better deals though.

We could have just shown up and gotten seated around the same wait time. Once we were seated, our waiter was really great about finding out from the kitchen things to accommodate multiple dietary restrictions. He really made the experience a lot better. Unfortunately, we weren't able to order the jumbo shrimp appetizer or lobster mac n cheese because they were out of both. Bread was soft and the butter was a great mapley flavor. The mussels were decent and a large portion, great for sharing. The blue cheese wedge salad was fine but felt a bit overpriced for what it was. The porterhouse for one doesn't come sliced like it would for two, and the fillet was tender, the strip was fine. The shrimp and scallops came with a potato and vegetables, and while nice, we would have ordered fewer sides if that was noted anywhere. We did opt for the brussel sprouts, mac n cheese, and truffle fries, which were all tasty and a shareable size. Over the food was pretty good, but being out of multiple dishes and the crazy wait time made the place only okay for me. There's no lot but street parking wasn't hard to find. Service was really good. It worked out for our occasion.

The brunch food was delicious, especially the steak and egg sandwich; the bread they used were so fluffy and it paired perfectly with chipotle mayo, which was recommended by Chris. The eggs Benedict were also cooked perfectly runny and each brunch plate came with some fruits and a drink of your choice. Overall everything was fresh and even the fruit selections were sweet. Highly recommend for those who want a simple yet delicious brunch! Will definitely be back to try their regular menu! Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:
