This time, however, all I wanted was a builder gel fill but I left with two cut fingers and pure disappointment. I could tell that the woman doing my nails was shaving aggressively, but I figured she wanted to be quick & efficient. I didn't feel the cuts when they happened, otherwise I definitely would've said something about the pain. However, later in the process, I heard her say "oh" and I noticed that my left ring finger was ACTIVELY bleeding. Most frustratingly, she did not say sorry OR address the blood, rather, just started cleaning it like nothing happened. Then I looked at my right ring finger and saw cut skin there as well. I got light headed but couldn't muster up the courage to object. I shouldn't have to. The photos do not do it justice because as I mentioned, my left ring finger was BLEEDING down the nail. To make things worse, this nail technician was extremely rude and short. When I asked her if my left pinky nail could be shortened to match the length of my right pinky, she looked at it and didn't say a word. It wasn't until all the paint was finished that I then asked her again "can we please make this length match"? And she finally said she was going to, as if my question was an imposition. The audacity. At the end of the appointment, I still tipped (less than I normally do), regretfully-so. When I asked her if her name was one of the displayed venmo cards she said "no". Unfortunately, I do not have her name but she was on the younger side with glasses. I would not recommend unless you want to feel rushed, ignored, and even injured. I will not be going back to this salon.

I chose wellness due to long massages as part of the service. I quite liked the arms/shoulders/neck massage. However, the legs/feet was lacking. Not enough pressure and the feet mostly ignored. I also noticed my friend's legs/feet massage was SUBSTANTIALLY longer than mine and her person (younger man) attended well to her feet. That is my biggest complaint, a lackluster and way too short legs/feet massage. My next complaint is the cursory attention to my intense calluses on my feet and cracked skin heels. He maybe used the pumice stone for 20 seconds on each foot ! THIS is such an important part of a pedicure, coming away with soft feet. My feet were exactly the same when I left as when I came in. SO DISAPPOINTED!!!! Certainly NOT worth spending $70!!! One of the other things that softens feet for a proper pedicure is soaking them in treated warm water. A bowl of tepid water arrived, but it was not warm enough and my feet HARDLY got a chance to soak making the soak useless. We arrived and my friend was trying to hold it together, and started crying. Carol and Tiffany immediately asked what was wrong, and she shared that she was processing her grief. Both ladies held space for her, comforted her, and shared stories of their personal loss as well. What was supposed to be a casual pedicure ended up being a beautiful therapy session, as they painted our toes, they also offered comfort, support, and genuine love. I am so grateful for this experience. They not only did a wonderful pedicure, but they were genuinely so kind and sweet. They even offered my friend some tea and biscuits at the end. This type of service went above and beyond and I cannot thank these ladies enough for bringing such comfort to me and my friend during this difficult time. We will definitely be retuning again and again! Thank you for your kindness and empathy. It truly warmed our hearts. People like this make the world a better place.

The following week I went back and showed them how my nails looked after such a short time. They kindly redid my nails complimentary, which I appreciated. However, the very next day the polish started chipping again and the nails looked very textured. I don't have a job that requires heavy use of my hands, and I'm not a nail biter. I've also never had this issue with gel manicures at other places. Because of that, I'm really disappointed with the experience.
