The older man is very thorough with the pedicure, so this is an especially good deal. Instead of UV light to cure gel nails, they use LED, which I much prefer as it is better for skin health. They accept payments/tips via cash and Zelle (not Venmo). 10% surcharge added to all credit card payments/tips. I liked my gel mani and regular pedi, so I'll be back! I asked for a simple french ombre with glitter and somehow received a nail polish application that an 8 year old could have done better (Refer to attached pics). My nail tech (did not catch her name) spent a lot of time shaping and filing, nothing to criticized on the shaping. But other than that, everything else was horrible. After filing and shaping, she literally rushed the nail polish application. My friend that was with me was surprised I was done because she was sitting behind the nail tech and saw how she was doing my nails. She said it looked nowhere near done. Mind you, we were the first appointment of the day so it was not like they were rushing to leave. All in all, I won't be returning.

Anyways, spur of the moment decided to go here because it was my first time trying somewhere new by my work. BIG MISTAKE! The person doing my nails used a dirty drill on me and I remember getting burnt from the drill bit, a few weeks when my acrylics came off I noticed a green weird spot on one of my nails and a white area that looked like it was peeling... I tried to file it away and now this is what it looks like! I got some kind of infection on my nail and now have to get a doctors visit and pay for that to get it fixed! I've never had anything happen like this before and had seen horror stories of this happening to others but never thought it would happen to me! I'm so mad and upset I trusted them with my nails! Never again and learned my lesson that this is why I don't go to new nail places!

I see a couple reviews complaining about regulars getting special treatment, the fact that they have so many regulars is a testament to their work. There are multiple salons in the area but there's a reason a lot of us choose this one. Pro tip: call and make an appointment, they will fit you in. For context, I only come a few times a year for special occasions or events, but all customers should be treated the same... The nail tech assigned to me didn't even say hello, yet fawned over the "regulars." The actual pedicure was sloppy and unprofessional. The attached photo speaks for itself--uneven shape, sloppy paint job, and a small lint on the right big toe. When I politely asked the nail tech to fix it, she rudely said "I know!" But didn't even fix it in the end. In addition, she did not cap the free edges and the next day, the nail polish chipped on a few nails (not pictured).

I just went this Sat for a mani-pedi and, while they take their time, that doesn't equal quality. I spent too long there for the limited service I received - i.e. pedicure did not include what's described on their website: the lady put sugar scrub on my legs, she immediately WIPED it off (not washed) and there was no massage nor hot towel. I feel badly because the lady they had performing this service is very elderly and i don't think should be responsible for this service (i don't say this to be discriminating, rather my opinion based on how me and my family care for our elders). In any case, as a customer, this is just not what you're expecting when you read about the service you'll be experiencing. As for the manicure: by Sunday, the polish was peeling and it was painfully obvious how sloppy the work was. I'm not sure if it's an issue of not soaking the nails (tho, I did see another customer have the nail soak, i just didn't), old/thickened polish, or technique (or, combination of all) that resulted in 9 out of 10 nails being too thick they they peeled and/or the polish was lumpy, "bubbly", and cuticles and nail edges not well prepped, polish lines were just not straight (I'll add a photo of these after day 2 - they look like i got them done over a week ago!). I was told the polish should last about 7 days, and I believe it would if the technique and quality was sound. But it's just not. Terribly disappointed - I really wanted to be a "regular" here. I absolutely could have done better at home and saved my $70. But, it was my bday and I decided to pamper myself
