My nails look horrid and they still charged 10 to remove the previous gel .. in this case that should of been waved . In my opinion the owner should of jumped in to help me . Nothing . By far the best dip / powder manicure experience I've had in san francisco. There are over 500 different powder color selections, compared to the other salons I've been to in sf that only have a few to choose from or use one base color and add gel on top. The dip mani lasts over 3 weeks for me. No designs for dip manicures, but I've seen other people come and get intricate designs on their acrylics or gel nails. read more

Second time visiting and I'm so happy I did! I live across the city but it's so worth the extra time coming here. The staff are always so nice + they have unbeatable prices. Walked in on a Friday afternoon without an appointment and it was pretty busy. However I was seated quickly after choosing my nail polish color. I always get a gel manicure ($25 without tip) and it usually takes about half an hour. Lien was my nail tech and I highly recommend her! I started going here b/c it is a block away from my home, but now I would not go anywhere else. A gel manicure is only $23 and they do a very good job for such a low price. I am neurotic about my nails, and they are very patient with me. All the manicurists are super nice, and everything is clean. I'm not quite sure what more you can ask for from a nail salon. I always have gel on my nails and it always looks good/feels good. Wide variety of gel colors to choose from. I've noticed that they get new colors semi often. Pedicures are good too. They have the plush massage chairs. My favorite part about Natural Salon is the TV. It's usually playing the news when I go after work or the travel channel on Saturday morning. I'll update my review and settle on three stars, as I have decided to only get my nails done here, and no longer do eyebrow waxing. While it is the cheapest option in the area ($25 for a gel mani and $20 for a regular pedicure), there is always something a bit off with the manicure here. One time, a technician started filing before the gel hardened, encapsulating the filings into the nail, making the result sandy. Another time, there was too much space between the cuticle and where the painting began, leaving a bit of a gap. I'll probably come back here as nails just grow out anyways, but maybe if I'm looking for a higher quality set, I'll go somewhere else. read more

This salon does a good job at their work! It's one of the more affordable salons that offer regular + gel manicures / pedicures, as well as, dip polish that is all the rave right now. Most places do the dip polish for $50-60 bucks, which to me is outrageous for your nails done. This place is only $35.00 and Cindy is the gal who usually performs the manicure. She does a great job. A little quick, no frills , but efficient and gets you in and out. I like this place also because you can just walk in. Most salons in SF are packed, and this place is usually a bit slower (i think because of the location, it is in a neighborhood on Fulton street) and your always being seen shortly after arrival, appointment or not. Salon is clean, and has all your basic spa pedicure chairs and manicure stations with usually 4-5 girls working at a time. *One small tip I would leave for the salon is to lengthen the massages for both the pedicures and manicures. Every time I've gone, I quickly just get rubbed lotion, instead of actually massaging. This part they rush. Other than that, they are a good affordable nail salon that doesn't break your bank with nice people. I recommend trying! :) Ask for Cindy for manicures, only girl I go to. read more

It disappoints me to write this because there are 4 manicurists at Natural Salon who are good (Liann, Victoria, Cindy & one other whose name escapes me) but after this last manicure, I won't be going back. With Natural Salon, it's too hit or miss; I'd wait for the good technicians but if they're busy, who has time to wait 20+ minutes before your mani-pedi is underway? Today I had Amanda who's new and she was about to proceed with my nails all different lengths until I asked her to file two down so they'd be even with the others. She seemed off-put. We'd already been off to a bad start when she clearly lost interest that I wanted a regular, not gel, manicure. Yes, she had more work to get the gel polish off my nails and I was getting a less expensive service but I would've given her a bigger tip for her effort had she not proceeded with the worst manicure I can remember: She didn't know how to glue a broken nail (someone else had to do it) and was about to slap on clear polish and forget about my torn nail until I reminded her. Once my nail was repaired, she didn't bother to buff it or file it but just hastily painted on a clear coat & 1-coat of color (the other nails had 2) and a sloppy top coat and called it a day. I didn't even bother trying to correct her at that point since I could see the finish on all the other nails was grainy. I don't get weekly manicures; I'm lucky if I get one once every 4-6 weeks. But, I've been a consistent customer at Natural Salon and after 3 poor manicures over 6 months, I'm done. PS They charged me $13 for a regular manicure; usually it's $8. Perhaps it cost $5 more for the extra work removing the gel polish but the manager didn't explain, I didn't ask - and for the first time, I left just an ok tip. read more

She has very poor attitude, she is rushing like she needs to catch a train, take off some of your skin in the process and no customer service whatsoever.
