I've been coming to The Final Touch 2 for about two years now and it's easily my favorite nail salon in SF. Wendy and her team always do an amazing job, while making everyone feel so warm and welcome. You truly feel like family by the end of your appointment. They have a great assortment of nail polish colors, and I recently started using their Dazzle Dry collection which I'm obsessed with now. It lasts longer than your traditional nail polish and completely dries in (no lie) about 5 minutes! The salon is always clean, relaxing, and consistent, I have such a great experience every time I come here. Loved my time here! They pay very good attention to detail & making sure you are comfortable the whole time. I had two people work on me for my pedicure -- 1 for the prep & 1 for the gel. I had one toenail that was a bit too short for the french tips that I wanted, but we had a conversation where they gave some input and they respected what I decided to go with. my only qualm is that for the price point, I felt a little let-down by the uneven-ness of my french tips. This has become my go-to spot for gel mani's and pedi's! The ladies here are super nice, they almost always have availability and the prices aren't bad! They have a ton of colors and my gel manis last for 3 weeks! Definitely recommend! They have a sign saying they only accept cash tips so be prepared! read more

I don't usually leave reviews for nail salons, but after such a positive experience I had to. Wendy and her team are so sweet and fun. Wendy is very good at her craft and gentle as well! I have very thin cuticles and nail beds that bleed easily from the nail cuticle pusher. But she did a good job at cleaning my cuticles while making me feel comfortable. Definitely one of my FAVORITE nail salons ever. You get a good VALUE by coming to get your nails done here. The Mani Pedi for $28 here could easily go for $42 somewhere else. Actually I usually pay much more somewhere else. Important Elements of Mani Pedi POLISH: You have your choice of mainly OPI, ESSIE, SOME Chanel, Zoya and Vinylux. Also you have the option of Gel. Hundreds of color choices. My REGULAR Manicures can usually last a week SERVICE: The work the ladies do on trimming your cuticles, cleaning your hands and feet and are really sweet. They don't say bad things about you in Vietnamese (I am Vietnamese and I always listen in). Wendy, the owner is a real sweetheart!! MASSAGE: Somewhat skimpy - but not my favorite part EXTRAS: Hot Towels for hands and Feet. Pedicure also had an exfoliant scrub included. Logistics: PARKING: Street Parking (Meters) and neighborhood. There is the Jewish Center / UCSF ($3.50/hour) lots near by. APPOINTMENTS: Do make an appointment as the salon can get busy and you may be waiting with your feet soaking. Sorry, I am not sorry but I'm in love with this little place. It's warm and comfortable. Inviting and pretty charming for a nail shop but that is because the environment is set by the employees and the owner. A quaint amount of colored polishes, just enough to make you look two or three times, and cute music selection repeating on the iPod! These ladies are professionals and exceptionally detailed and skilled at what they do. They sincerely care about your nail health and are happy to speak with you about after care and next steps if you're a newbie :-) I think I've found a bit of utopia.
