Everything was great! Huge burgers! Buns were great also. Fries are included with the hamburgers & they were good also. It is a small place so get there early. read more

The space feels cozy and welcoming -- like you're being invited into a friend's quirky, food-loving home... if that friend also had mad culinary skills and a past life on stage. .... And the food? Chef's kiss. read more

The Singing Chef Cafe - 4 piece hot honey plate - American Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

Way better than it appears to be on the outside. Had some delicious catfish and shrimp along with some watermelon koolaid. Very small interior, but look past that and you'll get some amazingly good food. read more

This wonderful restaurant serves delicious chicken fried chicken and sides. The waitress was attentive throughout our meal. The restaurant space is a small hidden gem with a few tables. While we enjoyed lunch, some others picked up carry out orders. Although the restaurant is called The Singing Chef, the owner's music is found on Spotify. He doesn't sing during meals. The atmosphere is casual. There is a television in the dining area that was tuned to a game show. read more

If you're in Fort Worth and looking for something special (and a little off the beaten path), do yourself a favor and find this place. It's warm, it's wonderful, and it's absolutely worth singing about (just not while holding a spatula ). (Sorry, no kitchen karaoke here, but probably for the best... hot pans and high notes don't mix!) Still, the chef's larger-than-life personality and charm absolutely shine through every plate. Every dish is made with such care and flavor it honestly deserves its own standing ovation. The collard greens are a must have. I will definitely return. Possibly even today....he says shrimp and grits are on the menu. read more

I'd give this place 3.5 if I could. I ordered the chicken sandwich with bacon. Overall the flavor was great. Super tender. But instead of a breast, it was 3 chicken tenders. The bacon was burned. But that was ok I guess. The wait was pretty average. They cook as you order it. So you're getting a fresh meal. read more

When I entered the building the young lady was ready to serve, however I was the one who couldn't make up my mind. I ordered the Po Boy Shrimp Sandwich/ Hoagie and the seasoned rice to go. Oh my that Po Boy Shrimp Sandwich was to die for. That secret sauce made that sandwich light up like a Christmas tree. Can I get a jug of the secret sauce to drink?. If this place was around the corner I would be eating there every other day. The owner/chef brought my food out to me, and made the atmosphere nice and classy. Yes absolutely I will be returning. read more

Parking lot was packed so I parked in the grass next door. I was told there was a large order ahead of me. A few people sitting down and more coming in after I've ordered. I'm thinking this place is gonna be great. Rock music was playing, people were moving and talking. It's a lively place. The fries weren't for me. The fries had a bunch of seasoning, Cajun and old bay being the main two. They were salty. I don't think the meat was seasoned and the melted cheese didn't offer much flavor to the food. There are other things on the menu I'm interested in. Ill be back for another go. read more

Visiting and wanted to patron a local business. This place was rated highly online. Immediately when arriving I was advised they were under staffed, okay understand. The owner was complaining the entire time about how busy and understaff he was. He complained about not having ingredients and seasoning. I could hear the convo the entire time and it was just non-stop. I understand being understaffed and busy. I understand the frustration. But it was so uncomfortable we did not want to eat there. I politely provided the feedback to the lady working the front end and she listened. As I'm leaving the owner comes out and screams from the front door of the business while in my car, to never come back. So unprofessional. Rude. Disappointing. The food is probably good but the owner and the service he provided was awful. Update-The food was great. I was happy to wait. Like the reviews said it would be. I stand by the service from the owner and his awful attitude and treatment. I have no reason to lie and rarely leave reviews. He came out and yelled at me while I was in the car for politely leaving feedback while I was getting in the car. SMH. That treatment of customers much less women is uncalled for. read more

The cream gravy was brown that came with chicken fried steak. The owners were very nice. The place was very small

Wow!!! This place is so delicious. Black owned and incredible comfort food . And all fresh cooked. I got the bacon cheeseburger and it had cheddar cheese with bacon and came with fries. This is one of the most satisfying burgers I have ever had. My sister got the chicken fried chicken topped with gravy and the batter is SO well flavored and crunchy with perfectly cooked chicken. For sides she got two macaronis so I could have on too , and that was the highlight of my trip to "The Singing Chef." This macaroni flavor and texture is unlike I have ever tasted and it was PERFECT. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area. read more

This cafe is a must if you want delicious comfort food with a twist, and an awesome atmosphere. I went during a busy lunch hour but the chef who is also the cashier, and greeter went out of his way to make sure my mom and I felt welcomed. The food is super delicious. With very reasonable prices. I had the Mahi Mahi fish fillet with a Cajun rub and green beans that were to die for. My mom had the spicy chicken sandwich with a sweet sauce and that delicious as well. You really can't go wrong with this place. I do recommend avoiding the lunch rush hour since seating is limited. read more

After hearing about this place from a friend I stopped by on a Friday afternoon and I was immediately a fan! His cool vibe made the wait pleasant and the food was delicious I ordered three different meals and tasted each one even though only one was for me I will be going back because the chicken sandwich looked amazing on my neighbors plate read more

We went here for dinner around 5:15 and there were complimentary chicharonnes, hot and crackling delivered to the table. I ordered the chicken fried chicken and I was immediately in love with the place. Everything was well seasoned. Sammy shared that there was about to be a change in the menu so we also got the chicken fried steak with loaded mash and simple side salad. We were the second group to get there and then around 5:45 more people arrived. The tables filled up fast. It was a chill vibe and the main room was full of Sammy's adventures and musical accomplishments. Definitely recommend. read more

Wonderful restaurant. I've tried almost everything on their menu and everything is great, seasoned well, and huge portions. A couple recommendations I have are the miggity mac n cheese side, their Philly cheese steak sandwich, and their chicken sandwich. I'm kind of a small guy so I can never finish their bigger plates. (Which is a plus) I definitely recommend this hole in the wall joint. Personally my favorite restaurant in Everman. read more

I came in at 11:05. They was running behind. Said give them ten minutes. Understandable. Came back in. Cashier was taking over the phone orders. Waited patiently 5 more minutes. Comes with the territory. I get that. But then the cook/owner commenced to loudly cursing at her because he was "overwhelmed", due to the fact that he was running behind. F-bombs and the whole 9. Then told her "Try to sell these damn wings." Customer Service means too much to me, and the disrespect directed at her was completely uncalled for. Needless to say I spent no money here. And this definitely is not a "bogus" review. read more

We stopped in for lunch today and had a great experience. New place that opened up recently, local owner and small business. He took great car of us, and made a fantastic lunch. My wife had the alligator and I had a Philly cheesesteak! Still stuffed! Can't wait to go back soon. Love supporting small businesses and got to chat with the owner. Go visit and support him! This place is a great little hidden gem. Everything is made to order and very high quality. I highly recommend you visit.

OMG.... The cheesesteak was so good! I have been searching for a cheesesteak similar to what I am use to in North Carolina. I think I found it. The cheese and onions was grilled to perfection. The juices ALL meshed and made it even better. Delivery... I drove up and it wasn't long at all. My food was piping hot. The fries was seasoned and was good. I am not a spicy kinda girl but it was hitting just right. There should be a line outside that door... I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. read more

Food was amazing!! If you want to soothe your soul, then this is the place! Sammy puts his foot in it! Definitely a return

Banana pudding was also delicious, ordered more to go! Not much seating but freshly made so could take to go without issues. read more

Nevermind that this is a whole in the wall establishment. This was a great place to eat. The food was fantastic with great hospitality for a one man army. Places like this are what eating and culture around food are all about. We often expect a glamorous exterior and high expense to be the signifier of great quality food, but if Black American (and African) history proves anything it's that heart and community are what make a great eating experience! The food was literally divine, made fresh - but the wait is worth it! Personal favorite was the unexpected Mac and cheese side! read more

We accidentally met this chef at Logan's of all places. He was there with his girlfriend. It took us months to finally make it to Everman to find his restaurant. I ordered the peach pork and it was fine. Big portions. Fresh food. The sides were the standout. I loved the mashed potatoes and seasoned corn. Those were great. I think we'll be back to try his other offerings. He's a great guy and fun to talk to. Wish him the best. read more
