Sat quickly, the overall vibe of the location is fine, It's sort of giving the PE cookie cutter restaurant vibe, but it was clean and well put together so I'm really just being picky. I ordered the Tricky Fish (blackened). Presentation was good, the fish was cooked beautifully, the étouffée was a nice touch and the dirty rice was legitimately very good. The one big detractor was that everything on the plate was over salted. Service was good. Waiter was attentive and polite, food came out quickly. Overall, I'd come back, but it's not the top of my list.

Our most recent visit was for lunch on 4/11/2025, and it was excellent, just like the other visits. I had the fish special: two pieces of cod, fries, and a couple of hush puppies. There are plenty of places where you can get catfish, but not many that serve good cod filets. My fish was delicious. It was hot, crispy, and the two good-sized pieces were all I needed for lunch, especially with fries. Parking can be challenging, so keep that in mind. Other than that, if I am looking for fried fish and chips, Zeke's is the top of my list.

The Scotch Egg was just like I remember in Scotland (so much better than the "other" local British pub!). The Fish & Chips-YUM. The chips (fries) were addictive. I couldn't stop shoveling them in. The Beef & Ale Stew was really flavorful. Our only complaint was the vegetarian waitress that had all the personality of a wet rag. She lacked menu knowledge, a voice, common courtesy and a smile. She was prompt. The Manager and other waitress were darling. The place was cute, teeny and a little warm for a 90* day.

Our steaks were cooked perfect to our order and very tender. Our waitresses were friendly and she was very good with us. The support staff seemed to want us out as soon as we finished our meal though. My biggest reason for the 3 star review is the menu change. No Qual and the devil eggs were not the same as before. This was very disappointing, especially since we hyped up the old version of the deviled eggs and Quail. Overall still worth visiting and still great food.

Food The entrées and sides were the highlight of the visit -- well‑prepared, flavorful, and worth the price. *Garlic Caper Salmon -- ***** ($22.00) Perfectly cooked, great balance of flavors. *Blackened Rainbow Trout -- ***** ($20.00) Seasoned well, cooked just right. *Iced Tea -- **** ($2.99) solid, nothing to complain about. *Banana Pudding -- **** ($8.00) Tasty, comforting dessert. *Bread Pudding -- *** ($9.00) Decent, but not as strong as the other dishes. *Service & Atmosphere This is where things fell short. The service felt detached, as if the waitress was distracted or simply going through the motions. The overall vibe in the restaurant -- felt unusually downcast, which affected the dining experience. *Would I Return? I would absolutely visit this franchise again, because the food is worth it. With that being said, it's good for large parties. The ambiance felt light, airy and modern. We came here for mom's birthday because she loves seafood and I heard good things about this place so we decided to try it out. They don't take reservations, but when we got there, we got seated almost immediately. We passed by the long bar in the front and were seated in the back area where they had another smaller bar. We ordered calamari because we always have to have calamari at a seafood spot. It was delicious. It had a little kick to it. I had seafood enchiladas. It was flavorful and my plate was completely clean. I didn't try my parents or husband's food, but they ordered the Santa Fe tacos, fried catfish tropical style with fried okra, and grilled redfish with sautéed spinach. For dessert, we had the croissant bread pudding. Mmmm that was decadent! I'm glad we all shared that. Totally recommend if you're a seafood lover. They have so many items on the menu to choose from. On the menu, you can also choose the type of fish you want, how you want it prepared, and the sides for that particular plate, which is what my mom and husband did with their catfish tropical style with fried okra and the redfish with the sautéed spinach. There are 7 types of fish to choose from and 5 ways it can be prepared, plus 8 regular sides and 5 premium sides. If I'm doing my math right, that means 455 possible plates. Incredible!
