Heard about this spot on TicToc. Customer service was great the cashier was mad cool and gave great recommendations. The food was the chicken was fried crispy just how I like it and the catfish was fried perfectly and everything was seasoned just right. The only problem was my fries were not to hot I could tell they were sitting out as the rest of my food was being cooked. The ambiance was cool for what it was I wish they had dine in all they have is carry out. If you're ever in the Ft. Worth area I'd definitely recommend this spot read more

Although the customer service was great The food was not something to be desired. I ordered the 11 oz steak with shrimp and my partner order the 10 PC hot wings with fries. We also ordered 1 piece of catfish. My steak was marinated in a sweet sauce that tasted like open container food in the fridge and collected the flavors of allthe other open containers in the fridge. My bread that came with my meal was burnt, and the shrimp and fish was a bit soggy, but that may be due to travel. My partners wings and fries tasted old. The hot wings are breaded but have a weird after taste. Unfortunately this is not a place I would reconsider in the future. read more

First visit, Alta Mesa location. I heard good things about this chain. Total disappointment. I had 4 whole wings and catfish nuggets combo. I chose nuggets because there is an upcharge for "real" catfish fillets. The chicken and fish were fried so hard, there was no flavor remaining. All I could taste was the excessive SALT. Even the fries were oversalted. The wait was excessive, but considering it was overcooked, that makes sense. One plus, the product was hot when I received it. The name starts with "Texas", that's really all you need to know - It does live up to it, and deserves to be called "Texas". The food brought me back to my childhood in the country eating at grandmas. What a great way to finish a Saturday. Steaks are large, tender and grilled to perfection. The fried catfish and fried chicken were the best I've had of both in a long long time. And the fried okra and onion rings ...OMG! aannnnd real REAL Texas toast! Every item on the menu is exactly what you'd expect from a Texas restaurant. Good tasty meals, large portions, and perfect combinations. Prices are very good too! We ordered quite a few things to try as many items as possible, and the check was about half of what I was expecting. The customer service is superb as well. Great staff! We'll be eating here a lot. I will NEVER EVER SPEND MY MONEY AT THIS PLACE AGAIN! If I could rate the service at this place (on Altamesa)it would be a HARD -100. I placed my order at 6:59 and paid over $43 for my food. I patiently waited and it took a really long time. I asked about my food and the person at the register said it would be right out. I waited an hour, just to be told they forget to drop my food. Now, I am pissed! I said ok are you gonna make it he said, no, but I am refunding your money and you will get it in 2-3 business days. I said so my money is being held up for 2-3 days and I don't get my food. He stated there is nothing I can do about it. I ask for a manager or supervisor on, none was on sight. Despite the other reviews I had a good experience with food and customer service. I ordered the 6 piece wing dinner, I waited for about 10 minutes. Chicken was good, the only thing I didn't care for were the fries. I also ordered 25 pieces from them for Thanksgiving and they were a hit. read more

We enjoyed everything we tasted. We ordered chicken shawarma plate, gyro sandwich, fried mushrooms, jalapeño poppers and okra. The food is cooked to order, it will take a few minutes, so you may want to call in the order or be prepared to wait a little. It was well worth the wait. Fresh ingredients and you can definitely tell the difference. The chicken shawarma plate comes with rice and salad. It was big enough for two people- well in my case I have lunch leftover for tomorrow. The owners are super friendly. I wish you guys the best success. You will see me again soon. read more

I ate this place for the first time. They left my salad out of my order and there was a hair in my food. I tried to reach out to the manager to make him aware of the issues and instead of rectifying the problem he wanted a picture for proof. At the time that I was actually eating the food I was so disgusted and didn't think I would go back. However, the guy who took my order was pretty nice so I wanted to check in with him because I told him I would let him know how the food was. I would not recommend eating here not only because I found hair in my food but also because they do not appreciate their customer's business. Nothing was done to help or try and fix this. I ordered thru Grubhub: * Cat Fish Nuggets * 2 Cat Fish Fillet "Send lots of tartar sauce" The fish was very good, but not all of the breading stayed on the nuggets. However, the fries were soggy, and they only sent three packets of tartar sauce for an entire box of fish. The packets were hard to open (Zeke's and Flying Fish send tartar sauce in paper containers). I would order from this restaurant again if they would send plenty of tartar sauce in paper containers, not hard to open plastic packets. And I probably won't order the nuggets again. read more

Costomer service was great, the food was not seasoned the chicken wings were hard and dry, they were small so you can't cook them hard. The French fries I had to choose which ones I could eat they were also hard nuggets hard just not worth it read more
