Rachel's (house made) Bagels Seattle. 30% cheaper than The Shop.

I popped in for a quick bagel and a kids chocolate milk. $11.75!!!! Before tip btw. WTF?' Are you f-ing kidding me? I guess I should've looked at the prices but $2.50 extra for a dollop of bream cheese on a bagel? $4.50 for a kids chocolate milk? (Only $2.65 at ripoff Starbucks btw, with whipped cream) All in, I paid $13.70 or something for a toasted bagel and kids chocolate milk. If I wanted to be fleeced like that I'd move back to Phinney Ridge, where at least I expect Seattle pricing. I may do the neighborhood a favor and buy the property just to shut them down and re-open with prices 30% lower.

This is my favorite coffee hang out. I hadn't been in awhile so I grabbed a friend and we caught up over coffee on a beautiful fall morning. The coffee is always the best. I had one of their specialty lattes and a gluten free cupcake which was delicious! It hit the spot. They have some fun swag for purchase and the baristas are so friendly. Located in the South Perry District. You can bring a book or grab an Inlander to read while you drink your coffee, have a cuppa with a friend, or grab some coffee to go and do some shopping in the area or head to the park. Check 'em out!

Why YOU need to visit The Shop 1) Local business in the Perry Street District (amazing location) 2) Great food that has both Vegan and Gluten free options. 3) Friendly staff with a total PNW atmosphere. 4) Indoor and outdoor seating with shade. 5) FANTASTIC coffee and treats. Personal favorite is the Coconut Cream Cake, taste like summer on the beach. And a cup of Coal Forge drip. 10/10 would visit again!

I'm tired of supporting local places and being charged insane prices for mediocre food. A sandwich (which was supposed to be turned into a salad)... basic SMALL white bread, Turkey, a sauce, cheese and a little spinach. Chips were so greasy the napkins provided in the box were too soiled to use. There were more chips that sandwich ingredients in the box, too. I also ordered a black iced tea....tasted like mildew. I will not visit again. My review is for the friendly employees. Why didn't I say something? I drove away before I knew what was in there.

Met up with coworkers here after a tough shift. It is a nice and quiet area to decompress. They offer food and drinks from pastries like cinnamon roll and quiche to sandwiches and coffee and tea to rotating beers. During our visit, we rewarded ourselves with a humongous cinnamon roll. It was an absolute perfect treat! The staffs was very nice, patient and helpful. I encourage you to check this place out and consider them. This is one place I would recommend if you want work done or be away from all the usual bustling coffee shops in town.

Fantastic customer service and the coffee is delicious. Great little walk in Perry District from our Airbnb. Highly recommend. I went around 830AM on a Sunday and only had to wait a few minutes for our coffees. We will be back!

Skimpy on the meat and chips. I used to come here a couple times a year but the quality has definitely gone down. Save the $22 dollars and just make something at home for the same or better quality.

    Salter caramel cupcake! Yum

Iced americano tasted like sour iced tea, except coffee flavored. Really cute interior. Wish is wasn't horrible.

Best gluten free/vegan baked goods available in Spokane for sure. Beats Boots 1000x over.

Hatch Beaker + Burr -- Spokane, WA…read more Midweek in Spokane and I was not expecting to walk into what felt like a warm hug disguised as a café. Wednesday morning. Doors open. Immediate vibe shift. Warm. Vibrant. Eclectic mix of humans scattered throughout -- laptops open, friends mid-laugh, someone clearly pretending to work. The energy felt alive without being chaotic. That's a sweet spot. The woman who served us? Absolute pro. Friendly with everyone. The kind of person who makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. Easy to talk to. Zero rush. Hospitality done right. We grabbed a solid-sized table for the group while one of the crew made a pastry run. Strong team execution. Now for the order: Iced latte. Almond milk. Honey. My control beverage. My combine drill. It was exactly what I expected -- smooth, balanced, no drama. And somehow... it tasted better because of the room. Setting matters. Coffee absorbs vibes. That's science.* (*Not verified.) This is one of those places you can: * Meet friends for breakfast * Post up and "work" for 4 hours * Or grab a quick coffee before pretending you're not late Would I come back? Absolutely. For the coffee, yes. For the vibes? Immediately. If you're visiting Spokane, this is a must-stop. No overthinking required. (Unfortunately I literally live on the other side of the country, so before my trip to Spokane ended I made it a point to stop by Atticus multiple times.) The gift shop portion of the store stocks what feels like a little bit of everything. Books, stickers, soaps, lotions, trinkets, home decor, t-shirts, art, books, cards, chocolates...and that's just what I remember! And then the coffee shop portion has a surprisingly large menu. I'm used to coffee shops in stores being more like small coffee stands; but nope, this operation feels like a fully stocked coffee shop. Plus they also serve tea, matcha, and smoothies...and breakfast sandwiches, AND pastries. As you might imagine: this all makes the store smell quite good! There aren't a ton of seats but when I visited with family, we managed to find a couple tables so we could enjoy our drinks and snacks sitting down. Their coffee is very, very tasty - I tried both hot and iced lattes during my multiple visits. I didn't have tea on-site but I did buy some of their blends to brew at home, and they are also very, very tasty. Unfortunately they don't do online sales, and since I was traveling I didn't have the space to pack up everything I wanted to take home with me. Maybe future me will have the chance to come back...in the meantime, I hope you lucky locals appreciate this place as much as I did!

When we arrived, the customer service at the bar for pickup was just as great--smooth, efficient, and genuinely pleasant. The food definitely delivered. The pretzel was excellent, paired with a crazy good mustard that took it to another level. I ordered the curry, and it was a fantastic dish--rich, flavorful, and downright delicious. My daughter had the kids spaghetti with chicken added, and she confidently declared it the best spaghetti she's ever had... so there! Overall, a great experience with standout service and tasty food. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu before giving that fifth star.
