Great repair shop, good shoe selection, and friendly service! Local business with "in town" location. Repeat customer!

How to start things off…read more.. This place is a mess down right. If you want to wait in like from 20min to even an hour or more, make sure your schedule is freed up. 99% of the time there would be a single cashier, and when they ask/call for back up you can hear in the radios that someone is either on their 15 or break or wouldn't be up until 15 or more minutes later. They keep their radios at a decent to high volume and rely on taking via managers from the register, which causes a lot of back up issue. Especially when it comes to transaction refunds, exchanges, or any other problems. Then let alone too, most of the time too. You can tell when someone doesn't even want to be at work there. Talking about a baby daddy, or their own relationship problems, even worse as well 99% of the time on their phone and asking someone else to take the register... Most of the staff is too laid back, and are just showing up to get paid but never want to put in the work. Let alone, apparently they get a bunch of new items almost on the daily? This store is too small and way overwhelmed with items that you cannot even find something decent unless you move things around.. If I worked for a company like this, I know for a fact there would be problems due to how much is going on already. But yet I cannot understand just how a company will sit by an allow a store to look, sell, and act like this...

Not much by way of furniture, focusing more on smaller items to maximize use of floorspace, with a bountiful selection of homegoods, clothing, and household textiles. Some of my favorite finds here: cords for musical sound equipment, leather belts & purses, wood wall and metal hanging shelving and organizers, large framed art and frames, craft supplies, curtain rods, officewear, office goods, and children's clothing. You'd not find much here by way of jewelry, though the glass (checkout) counter and locked glass cases are worth a look for cool vintage and antique pieces. Seasonal and personalized items are kept to a minimum, and it seems there is a standard for only very good or higher condition items. I'd be surprised to find things here stained, in need of repair, or missing pieces. This may be a pro or con to you and I could see it being frustrating when donating things with more useful life ahead or when looking for a bargain to diy with. This isn't the place to "fill a bag" of t-shirts to play with, but a great option for back to school shopping, interview clothes, outerwear, and decor. Oh, and cd's in the back right corner on the cheap!

I wanted to share feedback from my recent visit to your store on Saturday, October 25, at…read moreapproximately 5:35 p.m. I typically use this location to return Amazon packages and have always gone to the designated area in the back of the store. During this visit, however, I was directed to the front instead. When I arrived at the front, the signage pointed toward Customer Service, so I waited there for a short while. I noticed several employees performing various tasks, including two at the registers. After waiting, I asked one of the cashiers for clarification. A female associate informed me that all Amazon returns now go through the main line. I mentioned that the signage was somewhat misleading, as it still indicated Customer Service, but her response was curt--she suggested I "take it up with Corporate" and explained they had several call-outs that day. While I understand staffing challenges can occur, I was taken aback by the tone and lack of professionalism in the response. I wanted to bring this to your attention so the situation could be reviewed, as it may reflect an opportunity for better communication and customer service training. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, [Your Name]

So this review is for the company itself. When they first…read moreopened we were at the opening in Vacaville California. The clothes were quality and fashion spot on. Especially for the Vera Wang collection. Through the years as with many, many companies, quality ran through the gauntlet. It is no more! Plastic shoes, thin, scratchy materials. Sometimes if I go I can find a quality item, but I have to hunt and dig, like my big heavy Madden Girl coat for winter. I love it. The big stopper for me was getting a phone call yesterday from a thick, thick accent from I believe the Philippines. The man was asking for me and insisted to speak to me, which I had told him several times it was me and asked what this was about. Then he gives me information that I had to think and decipher that I had a balance on my card. yes, I know. I was on vacation out of the country for 10 days. Payment due in 8th. I have never, ever received a call from Kohl's! EVER! I do always pay in full within a week or 2. Nope this time I was late. I told him I thought it was a scam and he started to say You want to pay now? I say No. He raises his voice and insists several times, You pay bill! With that I hung up thinking, yes it was a scam. I git on the website & found yes I was late by 5 days! 5 days!!!! His amount was correct. So now, I paid and canceled my account! Kohl's you outsourced your company and the standards I used to purchase a whole lot of products through the years! Good bye- Good riddance!! There are still quality stores with quality clothes that the staff still cares and attends to the clientele. You may not care now but enough people will. Many stores have gone belly up, and you are at risk having others in other countries have our private information access and to have them make aggressive threatening phone calls to great clients, well sucks for you CEO!
