Great selection of books-- hard backs $1.99 and paperback $.99. Otherwise the standard thrift store fair.

This is a nice little shop. Fair prices and friendly staff. I would definitely revisit

I had a fabulous time at this Goodwill, so many great finds. We spent hours looking at shirts and…read moredresses and skirts and purses and knickknacks. We came home with some memories and the best deals. DC Goodwill does have to have a an account just to access their discount color week.

Very disappointing experience. My friend and I went to Villa…read morebecause we needed to contact our parents, and we did not have a cell phone with us. We politely asked if we could use a company phone or, if that wasn't possible, an employee's phone just to make a quick call. We were told that there was no company phone, which was frustrating because we later found out that employees did have access to phones. We then asked another employee, who also told us that he didn't have a phone, even though he clearly had one with him. The third employee we spoke to was especially disrespectful. Her tone was extremely rude and made an already stressful situation much worse. She basically told us that because the front office had said no, she wasn't going to help us either. I understand that employees may have policies they have to follow, but there was absolutely no reason to speak to us in such a dismissive and disrespectful way. The biggest issue is that we were stranded without a way to contact our parents. What if we genuinely had no other option? We eventually had to leave and go to an entirely different place just to find someone willing to help us make a phone call. I understand not every request can be accommodated, but basic kindness and honesty should not be too much to expect. The way we were treated was extremely disappointing, and I hope management addresses how situations like this are handled in the future.

Not much by way of furniture, focusing more on smaller items to maximize use of floorspace, with a bountiful selection of homegoods, clothing, and household textiles. Some of my favorite finds here: cords for musical sound equipment, leather belts & purses, wood wall and metal hanging shelving and organizers, large framed art and frames, craft supplies, curtain rods, officewear, office goods, and children's clothing. You'd not find much here by way of jewelry, though the glass (checkout) counter and locked glass cases are worth a look for cool vintage and antique pieces. Seasonal and personalized items are kept to a minimum, and it seems there is a standard for only very good or higher condition items. I'd be surprised to find things here stained, in need of repair, or missing pieces. This may be a pro or con to you and I could see it being frustrating when donating things with more useful life ahead or when looking for a bargain to diy with. This isn't the place to "fill a bag" of t-shirts to play with, but a great option for back to school shopping, interview clothes, outerwear, and decor. Oh, and cd's in the back right corner on the cheap!
