On occasion, a very nice item is identified which is placed in the gala silent auction. I found a beautiful ruby pin at the auction. Good, hardworking, loving people.

It seems like every time I go into a thrift store, the sizes are all over the place and I can't find anything. I also bought a book for a dollar about 1970s disco that's worth about $80. So weird. It looked open, and as the owner, I would have let us continue to look. I work at a consignment shop and I would've allowed people to come in if I had left the door open. She said 'come back tomorrow ' . We told her we were leaving town, so we will come back never. The prices were high, $80 for teapot, these are not thrift-store prices. So maybe think about changing the store name from a "thrift " store to an antique shop, since the prices are ridiculous. Anyway, not a great experience.
