I don't normally leave bad reviews. I have visited this location several times and had good success…read morefinding what I needed. Today it was not the case. I went looking for a raincoat, thinking maybe I could find something that was insulated and not too obnoxious of a color. I was also looking for work pants. Dickies, Carhartt...a brand of decent quality. I would even settle form Levi's if they're not too expensive in colors that are work appropriate. I am used to the layout of the store. This time they seemed to cram more junk all over the place. Stands of phone charging cables, spring water, tee shirts...all kind of stuff on the way to the men's department which has shrunk to maybe 20% of the store. Ok, I decided to walk the aisles to see what I could find. Slim pickings. Lots of tees, jeans with holes in them, serious selections of hoodies from various brands, light duty (what looked like designer style) jackets plus a load of sweat pants and night wear for men. I finally found a rack of Carhartt "work pants" which had a cuff at the bottom shrinking the bottom of the pants so my foot wouldn't even fit through. Back to the rack. Everything had the cuff. After that there was nothing in the store I wanted. Possibly a winter jacket. Nothing. No raincoats to be found. I normally get some wild socks for my brother in law for Christmas, none of that. Socks for me, nope. Size 6-12 never fits my foot. So I left without buying anything. The store seems to have gone to pot. Broken hangers everywhere on the floor. You can smell the bathroom about 3 aisles away. Fitting rooms that are locked and help never comes. A nice lady let me use the one she was using when I wanted to try on the pants. The disappearance of things like brand name jackets and pants. I don't think I'll be visiting again.

I was confused as this is a store and its always a mess anyways. I found a manager and began to explain the situation to which he told me maybe my child should not be touching shoes on the display then. This was not a display it was a long table with shoes thrown on top of it. Manager and employee were very rude. Unfortunately I think the manager just seemed very uneducated and nervous. Places just seem to promote anyone anymore.

First of all, Bob McCann, the owner/proprietor is legitimately the nicest, most charming, and…read moreenthusiastic person ever. He loves what he does, and he enjoys talking about and showing off his numerous projects. Check out the book in his shop that shows the kind of work that he's done. This man is living the dream - he's doing what he loves, with incredible attention to detail. He's not doing it for massive profits, but because he really, really loves his work. And though he's an amazing restorer, he is most enthusiastic about repurposing older pieces to fit your current lifestyle. Ask him about his pump organ projects - something that was basically broken down and unusable was repurposed into a desk with hidden cubbies and secret panels like something out of that National Treasure movie. Which led me to basically dream planning having one of this pump organs be redesigned into a goth themed vanity of my dreams. Never mind that I live in a studio. And I was SHOCKED at how low the starting price for a project like that was - seriously, he is undercharging for the kind of work he does. I am seriously considering getting rid of my couch and tv cabinet just to make room for his custom vanity with secret cubbies and hidden drawers and expandable table tops. But if you're not ready for that and are looking for someone to fix/restore/recane/refinish cherished family pieces or even fix up that flea market find, Mr. McCann is your guy. He's a freaking treasure and he's absolutely worth the drive out to visit for a consult (or even just a chat )

I held onto his info and reached out to him to have him restore a 55 year old mid century one piece sofa sectional. It was my Dad's bachelor sofa. 10ft long. Over the years my folks had it reupholstered 3xs. When i inherited I had it done boldly in red Naugahyde. That was 21 years ago. Iron Gate Antiques just reupholstered in recycled leather and they added a lil height lift to it because she was a low rider. It's beautiful. The entire gang at Iron Gate made this project so much fun to do and I'm so pleased with the work they did abs the outcome
