Unless you want to save some money, Kimberly's is a don't-miss stop in Winchester. This cute shop spans two buildings. One building houses more market goods, whereas the other building has a hodge podge of delightful gifts, home decor, clothes, and more. I was introduced to the shop last year originally when my mom wandered in. I stopped by again this year and bought some cute Winchester magnets. Last year I bought some dish towels among other things. There's a giant apple out front too that's perfect for photo ops. read more

Much as I like browsing their high-end stuff, I've never bought anything. The separate food building has wonderful things with truly outrageous prices. I go in there thinking "this time I've going to get myself a treat" and come out empty-handed every time. I suppose if you want to put together a $200 gift basket for someone, rather than buy similar stuff at Home Goods for one-third the price, this is your kind of place. read more

Cute store but expensive. The ladies working aren't always super friendly which is a turnoff while shopping. The selection is nice and they have good sales throughout the year. There are other boutiques in town that I frequent more often, if I'm being perfectly honest. read more

3 stars for the Food side building 4 stars for the boutique next door, all the same proprietor. The food side building-- the older women were rather unfriendly to say the least. Nothing special in the store. You can get the items anywhere else. The ice cream is wonderful. The young lady helping was a delight, unlike the other women there. The boutique is very nice. It's next-door, the building is gorgeous. If nothing else, go to see the just building. I'm assuming this is probably one of the higher-end shops in the area with things you can't get elsewhere in Winchester. Nice items. It's a place to stop if strolling through Winchester. read more

We were exploring downtown Winchester and stumbled upon Kimberly's. We saw the sign outside that said they had gourmet chocolate, gifts, etc. It was definitely an older building/house with different rooms that held different items. It was a little confusing honestly. As soon as you walk in, there's a bunch of Christmas decor and then some bedding items with a huge Christmas tree in the middle of the room. There's another room with stationary and different decorative napkins. It just didn't make sense where everything was placed. I did buy some chocolates and they really didn't taste gourmet to me. Just regular shmegular chocolate. This store/boutique was just not my cup of tea (might be for someone else though). read more

A great little boutique with some lovely Lilly Pulitzer options, among many others. My favorite part, though, is the precious upstairs with books and gorgeous boutique clothing items for babies, boys, and girls. I'll be back for the ruffled bloomers, pastel shirts and dresses, and sweet little toys. The service was pleasant and attentive without being pushy. A great little shop! read more

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KING/QUEEN! Did some Christmas shopping on 12/23/2011 and the shop was busy. Anywho, I was greetted within a handful of seconds of entering. That's always a plus. After a few seconds of chit chat the lady who greeted me asked if she could assist me. I did need some help and she dove right in. Didn't boss me around or rush me, but was beyond helpful. She aided me selecting a few pic frames, jewelry, books and some other stocking stuffers. GREAT EXPERIENCE and the cost was fine. Another wonderful, locally owned retail business in Winchester. I'll be back!!! Also, they do a lot of custom work for housewares and office, bedding, etc. Always have lots of varied seasonal items. Across the way they also have a separate shop strictly kids. Fantastic products, they are a little on the high side, as far as price, but then again they only carry top quality products, so it's well worth it. The staff are extremely nice as well as accommodating and the owner (Kimberly, if you hadn't out that together) is an absolute sweetheart. Great historic location, tons of variety and quality. Just ordered some lovely new Crane stationary from Kimberly's. They were so helpful in the process of selecting the paper stock, ink color, font, envelope options and everything else that goes with ordering stationary. I also picked up some lovely home decor items - their selection of soaps, linens, stemware and other home decor items is impressive. Beautiful clothing, extremely unfortunate customer service. After spending hundreds of dollars at this store in the last month (Christmas gifts, birthday gifts), I attempted to return an item to the women's clothing store. I came in with the item, still in the bag, tags on, receipt in hand, within 6 days of purchase. I was told no store credit, no exchange, and no refund was possible. The item was on sale (approx $10 off a $140 dress), and therefore the sale was final. This was not on the receipt, or posted In the store, or verbally expressed upon purchase. I had previously overlooked the "cool/aloof/borderline rude" greeting I received when coming to the store, because I liked the products, but after this last experience, I will not be back. I truly prefer to "shop small" whenever I can, but I will have to find another local boutique to frequent. However, In all fairness, I must say that this has never been my experience in the larger main building of Kimberley's (candles, dining, decor, scarves, etc). The staff couldn't be nicer in there, but sadly my experience has been quite different across the parking lot. :( read more

Nice, one of a kind finds. I took off a couple of stars because of their "no free chocolates for colored people" attitude. My son and I walked by a lady upstairs giving out chocolates. She didn't even acknowledge us. My WHITE spouse walked by and got a, "Hi, would you like to try one of our chocolates" read more

I went into Kimberly's out of curiosity the outside of the business is gorgeous and I love a gift store any day. I walked in and was approached at the door that they were having a holiday open house. At this point the sales lady I assume looked at me as though I was not worthy to be in her store. The sad part is I have been wanting so badly to check this place out. To say the least I was so embarrassed to have been treated this way. I left immediately and will not return. I suggest you have proof that you are willing spend plenty of money when entering. read more

Kimberly's is a great place to go for a wedding gift or any trifle for that special occasion. It's just a fun place to look around due to it's beautiful decorations and paraphernalia. The ladies there are very pleasant and helpful as well. I have never had a negative experience at Kimberly's. I always look forward to going there for a little window shopping. read more

I wandered into Kimberly's on a business trip to Winchester Va, and was so glad to find it! They have a little bit of everything from clothes to purses to home decor and lots of brands like Lily Pulitzer, Spartina and Vineyard Vines. I purchased a Liliy Pulitzer outfit and a wallet both of which I have used all summer. I can't wait to go back when I'm in town again! read more

I live across the US from this shop but own a farm 30 minutes from Kimberly's, which my husband and I check on personally twice a year. Kimberly's is always on my list each visit. Michelle and Kimberly welcome me by name, always. I have ordered over the phone, ordered gifts sent to others etc. with outstanding service. This is just a favorite shop - wide variety - always find so much to add to my home and for myself! Take houseguests here as part of the local tour! I love this place. The staff is always helpful, and it always looks beautiful in the house. I walk in and see a hundred things that I would want haha and think i need.. one day honestly I'll probably furnish my hose with most of the beautiful things inside. Definitely one of my favorite stores in Winchester. Plus it is near to the library so it is always a great time walking through the store. I bought a beautiful box about a year ago. This store is amazing! Came here because my favorite candles (Tyler Candles) were listed as being here. I got so much more than I expected!!! This is actually two stores, one being in a large antebellum home and another, the children's store, is right next door. My husband and son left me there for an hour. Candles, home decor, linens, china, fragrance and more. The second floor is devoted to bed and bath, as well as paper goods (stationary and the like). The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I had some time, so I went next door to the children's store, thinking that I wouldn't find anything for a ten-year-old boy. Turns out, I came away with an awesome game (Bananagrams) and a model ship kit (The Constitution) and my boy was thrilled. The children's store was just as wonderful as the first. This is not just a store, it is a destination. I heard from one of the staff that the holidays is really a great time to come shop. Decorations and gifts galore. Sounds like a plan to me! read more

I always love to go to this store when I am anywhere near Winchester. It is so rare to buy my Thymes body products, they have the best selection anywhere around. They also carry fabulous clothes and shoes. Frye boots are my favorite and they have a great selection. I discovered a beautiful hand bag line there too called Spartina. I will be in each season to pick up my new one. I love the patterns. You will always find the best quality products and the nicest people in this lovely shop. read more

The staff at Kimberly's is like no other! My wife and I have been going to Kimberly's since before we were married. We got our wedding invitations and registry. Since then, Kimberly's has been a staple for gift giving in our home. We can always find something for everyone. I didn't think it could get any better then she opened the Men's Shop- McKee's.
