they installed a car cam for us. We went on travel and when we returned the car was dead. the battery was so dead it was no longer usable. Very helpful in answering questions and no pressure to purchase anything you don't need and no pressure to buy the more expensive models, etc. Small town feel for sure. Labor rate was acceptable. Not particularly "discount." I was disappointed that the $400 radio I purchased could have been purchased on Amazon for $250. If you're going to charge me for 3-4 hours of labor then I'd expect a "discount" on the radio - or at least something more reasonable. I assume the people on Amazon are making a profit at $250 so they just have a HUGE margin at $400. Drop it to $300 and be more reasonable. Overall, 3 stars due to the huge discrepancy in price (shame on me for not shopping around). Installation was professional and timely. However, I'd shop around for equipment. read more

I went in and got a quote for $600 to install a Sirius XM radio to replace the AM/FM/CD that was original on my 2011 Toyota Prius. I thought that was high so I checked Amazon. Amazon had a JVC unit with Sirius/AM/FM/Audio In port/MP3 (i could have gotten Pioneer with CD for about the same price but don't use CD). The JVC was $120 and my mechanic installed it for $150. When we first walk through the door we were greeted by Tom. He's such a positive, friendly guy! I was looking for a remote start for my Tacoma. He went through my options and i decided from there.... I got my starter installed a week later and they walked me through it when i picked up my vehicle. The job took less than 2 hours..... 3 days later my battery died in my truck (my truck is 7 yrs old).... I thought for sure something went wrong with the install, causing drain in my battery. I called at 7:15 in the morning and Tom answered (they open at 9, I was calling to leave a message) I was shocked he picked up and explained what happened. I was a little frustrated and in a hurry because I was out the door to go to work. Tom said he and a tech would come out to our house (15 min drive) to jump my truck and bring it to their shop to check it out..., they did so. It ended up, by coincidence, just my battery going bad. They actually went to Battery Mart, got a new battery and installed it for us and brought my truck back to the house! Talk about Above and Beyond! They only charged us for what the battery cost and they wouldn't take anything over when we offered to pay extra for their time, effort and generosity! They saved us a possible towing charge, a charge at a shop to diagnose and labor. I can't even express the gratitude I have for this company. We need more businesses like this on our world. My husband wanted to upgrade the sound system in his 2018 Chevy Silverado. He did a lot of research before calling some local audio places for quotes. Was there on the 26th getting my windows tinted. First off wowww they did all they could to take care of me. Thank you for all I talked to and helped me out. While waiting I went out to lunch I forgot my phone In my Uber on top of that I had to get to work so kind of a rough day for me. so they offered to take me home which is 25 minutes away and even asked me about my phone situation to make sure it was taken care of. Everyone there are highly knowledgable on their business and Tom has got to be one of the best businessmen I have ever met. I had a remote start installed in my 2014 VW Jetta TDi by them. I will admit there were some early issues, but it seemed to be with the start system and not their workmanship. But they went over and above to make sure the inconvenience to us was at a minimum. The installation was clean and there was absolutely no trace anyone worked on the car which is more than can be said about some dealerships today. They stand by their work 100% and take the time to explain the system with you after installation. I bought an Alpine 12inch subwoofer from here within the first two weeks of having it smoke was flaring out of my box. I thought maybe it was because my gain was very high. They gave me a replacement and not even a month of having the replacement same situation happened again. This time I had the gain turned down to very low. I had this speaker not even half of a year & now they can not do anything for me. They do not offer any additional warranties when you purchase their equipment and only offer the ability to upgrade. They only want to push their Rockford brand because they have a deal with them. Any other speaker you buy from there you will have issues with. I would highly recommend buying any car audio from Best Buy because they offer warranties on all car Audio equipment up to 5 years. If you do not have your receipt they will not honor your return. Unlike Best Buy where you are in there system with or with out a receipt. They also price match competition. Moving forward I will never buy any car audio equipment from this place. read more

Hi, Here is my 1st feed back. I want to this shop, was impressed with the approached to resolved my 2005 nissan murano door lock issue and requested to remove my CD which got stuck in the Radio. They called and informed me that they can't fix the issue and I need to visit Nissan dealer shop to resolve the issue, but they are able to remove the CD which got stuck in the Radio. Till here I would rate 5 star, if below issue have not happened. I collected the SUV and went home without checking whether everything is working or not. When I start my car after 2 days (Mar-18) to start my trip to Atlanata, GA, I found my AUX interface is not working at all. I realized that it was removed or not connected back when they resolved the CD issue. When I went to the shop around 6.15pm they told they can't fix the issue it will take 1hr or more to find what could be the issue and they can't. The approach was very different which i never expected. I was really upset and I just walked out of the shop. I traveled to Atlanata without my music system, was running my music on bluetooth speaker (brought a $20 speaker from Staples). After reaching Atlanta, I when to a shop where they fixed it just within 20 mints when i narrated the full story and they told that the interface connection was connected back to radio. And they charged just $20. I was really impressed with the person's professional approach. That's why I am giving 1 star and will think 100 times before I visit next time. Terrible customer service! I've had many high-end car audio installations done In the past and in most cases customer satisfaction is a high priority. Unfortunately the same can't be said for Winchester audio. Upon your initial visit,the staff and the owner are pleasant and eager to greet you and walk you through the various options to spend your money with them. They are more geared for a middle of the road enthusiast so if you're looking for high-end quality and results I would suggest looking elsewhere. That said my system sounded decent but of course that was after numerous calls that they needed additional wiring kits and recommended upgrading from factory high-end speakers,upsell,upsell. If you're looking for average results that are overpriced this is the place for you. I was OK with all of that but when I picked up my car ,my head unit touchscreen was not working correctly and I also discovered an outward dent from the screws/hardware they used to install the amp inside my quarter panel, that's when you really findout who you're dealing with I asked to speak to the owner who was so friendly when he wanted my business but now as soon as I stated my touch screen wasn't working correctly he no longer wanted to talk to me and sent out one of the young kids to talk in circles about how they couldn't of been responsible They offered no resolution to the damages they caused to my vehicle and told me to have a nice day.
