4/25/21 after years of seeing Duluth ads, I finally see a Duluth Trading Store...here I come.

4/25/21 There are a number of items to check out at Duluth Trading Company and some of the things they have I didn't even know about. The Alaskan short sleeve shirts with button snaps caught my eye. The felt nice on my hand. Wasn't sure if I could try them on in the fitting room so I did not do that. I will ask someone later on. I came to several photos and some if them I have seen on television ads. One of them reminds me of Larry The Cable Guy. I actually thought Duluth was some kind of brand name he came up with for a while. I finally arrived at the Buck Naked Underwear, but sadly, I did not like the feel of Buck Naked Underwear. There are other type to which I have gone back into the store to get a picture of the types. I did find out if the fitting rooms are open for men and women. The public bathrooms are open too. There are pictures of the different kinds of brands by the bathrooms too. I did buy a Emerald Green silicone drinking glass. After I clean it throughly, I will test it out. I asked if the glass is dishwasher safe and was told it was hy an employee who has some of the glasses. I will return to get another item from this store next week or the following. Whether or not the shirts I like are still on hold or not.

I've been coming t this store for years, and when I was back in the area, I was happy to see that they are still open. Once I saw that they were open, I knew right then and there that zi had to go inside to see what new things they had. And a lot of new stuff they had. One thing that I never knew that they carried until today would be the hiking boots. None of the boots stood out to me, but the wool socks definitely did. I picked up a pair of Coolerino wool socks which will definitely come in handy during the winter months. The new line of carpenter style work pants are what really got my attention. In the end though, I picked up a pair of the famous Fire Hose Flex Foreman style blue denim pants at around $70.00. I also saw a really nice long sleeve green shirt that I liked a lot. This store is one of the coolest!

I'm a big fan of Duluth Trading Company. I especially like their Cargo pants for work! Previous to my visit here - I had only bought from them online. The day of my visit to the Manassas location - they were having a nice sale on pants - so I saved some bucks that day. I ended up buying 5 pairs of Cargo pants in various colors! I live in Haymarket - and so was thrilled to find this location so close by! I will be back! #DuluthTradingCompany

Guess I'm the odd one out here. Honestly, but not trying to sound cheap, though the clothing is great quality, I can't buy myself a $99.95 sweater. A bit out of my budget range. The clothes looked nice. I'd love to own some of the flannel tops and the warm flannel jackets but I have a family to support. (lol) Tons of people in there today. The check out lines both wrapped around the inside of the store. I can see why people go there but unless I get a healthy check in the mail there's no need for me to go back. :-\

This place has top-notch outdoor clothing and accessories. All the clothes are made with quality fabric as they are thick; yet, light in weight. What is really amazing is how literally every clothing can stretch; this even includes jeans. Specifically for men, items like underwear/briefs and jeans have a specific pouch to hold your "package." All the clothes are made to fit well on a person. The clothes are made to be light and breathable without sacrificing durability. Now, since everything is excellently made, you are going to pay a hefty price. So, make sure you understand you pay for what you get. At the end of the day, the clothing is worth the money you spend because it will last you a very long time. The store is big and organized very neatly. You can even help yourself to complementary water and coffee. Additionally, the staff are very helpful and respectful. Overall, if you need outdoor clothing or accessories with quality material, this is the place to be.

Love the variety, service and they have regular sales. Their stock holds up well and is practical and some of it is downright fun!

This was my first time in a Ross store. They are the largest national competitor to TJX Companies -…read morethe company that owns Marshalls and TJ Maxx. Ross is similar to both, being an "off-price" department store, except that it seems smaller. First, outside of clothing, they really don't have much else to offer. (I love Marshalls because they have all kinds of neat stuff at discount prices - especially kitchenwares) And the store was oddly understocked ... there was literally enough space in the middle of the store to fit a car. When I pointed this out to the wife, she concurred that it was odd. Outside of that, it's pretty much the same stuff you'll find at Marshalls. I did like that they had more stuff for the plus size (i.e. fat) people like me than Marshalls has. It's pretty much the same clothing-wise with perhaps a bit smaller of a selection, but gets a star less than Marshalls for having not much else to offer.

Convenient location in a larger-sized shopping center. In Manassas, the more you can avoid traffic,…read morethe better. But the store itself was...haphazard. Nothing was organized- clothes seemed to be put back anywhere, with sections and sizes being largely irrelevant. It was very messy. Stuff all over the floor, shoes mismatched, etc. I liked that they had some pet items and the prices were considerably lower than toys from big name pet stores. I found one or two brand name items in the skin care/cosmetics section that I ended up getting. I would've gotten more, but most things had no expiration dates which weirds me out with things I'm putting on my face. Unfortunately, most of the items were either previously opened/ broken/tested by other shoppers. There's only so much a business can do about three poor behavior of its clientele, but it still didn't give a great impression overall.

I've got a bit of a love/hate relationship with Burlington Coat Factory. And it's not because…read morefinding clothes that I want to buy can be, as others noted, hit or miss. I find that BCF has the best collection of big and tall (i.e. fat men) clothing of any of the discount clothing chains, so regardless of what mode my body is in, I can find something I like there. However, I have found that every BCF I have been in has been an absolute mess. I don't mean sizes mixed up - that doesn't bother me. I've never seen a department store that has everything in the right place. I'm talking about product strewn haphazardly about, stuff lying on the floors ... they typically look more like my wife's closet than a retail store. And every BCF I have ever been to smells like a stale wet fart. Seriously. So imagine my joy when I walked into the Manassas BCF for the first time and got ZERO hint of stale fart mustiness. The store was clean and generally well organized. Sure, I had to do a bit of size hunting, mainly with dress shirts, but it was less of a scavenger hunt than usual. This store is smaller than any other BCF I have been into, and thus had more limited selection, but I was still able to find ample clothing to spruce up my wardrobe - 3 dress shirts, 4 short sleeve polos, 3 dress pants, a new belt and, of course, another UVa t-shirt to add to my collection. Check-out, like most BCFs, was a tad on the slow side, but I was able to get in, search, try on, and get out within an hour. The entire trip was a win in my book.

The store shelves were filled but the quality was low. The checkout process was timely .read more
