I am writing this here because the customer service phone line supervisor told me there was no other recourse to report my concern. I have his name and ID number. I am very disappointed with Kohl's and its policies. One of the items I ordered was not available for shipping so I needed to pick it up from the store. This was an inconvenience itself since the whole point of me ordering online was so that I would NOT have to deal with parking, driving, etc. to the store. I paid for the total and earned $15 in Kohl's Cash. As a paying customer, I was under the impression that I PAID for my item. I was unable to pick it up and assumed that since I PAID for the item, it would be held. When I went to use my Kohl's Cash, I was informed that it was revoked because I did not pick up MY item that I PAID for. The item was then reshelved at the store and I was told that it would be taken off my bill. I wanted the item. I paid for the item. I purchased it as a gift for my sister. I did not receive a courtesy call that it would be forfeit. I don't understand why this would happen. How is this a good business policy? The customer has already paid for the item. It has become a profit. Why in the world would any company choose to refund the customer for an item that he/she clearly wanted that was bought and paid for? Plus, the customer service I spoke to on the phone was very unhelpful. They tried to be courteous by English was definitely not their native language. I had to call repeatedly until a supervisor told me there was nothing that could be done. Even though I had gone to the storefront to RE-purchase the item. This is the first instance in which I was highly disappointed in Kohl's customer service and policy...And I have been shopping there for years! Finding a Kohl's can be a bit tricky, but luckily, this was conveniently located when we were in the area. It's hidden in the back, past the Golden Corral. I thought that this place was well-organized, very bright, and extremely clean! I don't know if the store recently did a remodeling, but it very aesthetically pleasing. I only had to do an Amazon drop-off, but the customer service kiosk, located by the apparel section on the main floor, was pretty quick and efficient. The rep was friendly, and dropping the items off was a breeze. Did you know that you get coupons just for doing a drop? The only catch is that you have a few days to use the coupon, but it has to be at that particular location. I thought that was a nice perk, especially if you're a fan of Kohl's! This review is targeted at Kohl's website and the difficulty with online shopping via mobile device. The website hates mobile devices. The site is larded with billions of useless and annoying pop-ups which cause the site to crash, redirect to earlier pages and generally make for a horrible experience. Whether connected to the network via wifi or 5G LTE, the experience is the same. Avoid using this deeply flawed and user-unfriendly shopping site. If you must shop at Kohl's, visit a brick and mortar, if you can find one. Or, just dump kohl's from your list of viable stores. read more

Many people sleep on Kohl's but I dare to differ. The store was very clean and well organized, it was a little busy and they had plenty of registers open to support their customers. While I am not fond of their own personal brand, they do carry Nike, Under Armour and Adidas in store which is a plus for me. There are several times when I came to the store looking fr one thing and was able to fin something that i liked and/or had not seen anywhere else. Plus if there is a coupon typically you can use it on anything and if they are doing Kohl's Cash you can come back of course and use it on whatever you want. Kohl's is okay. I don't tend to shop there a lot. I suppose a little more since my babies have been born. I will shop for clothes there for them as well as last minute items. I rather go to Fair Oaks Mall and hit the department stores there! I stopped by there last night to try to find some waterproof mittens for my toddler. Plus I also had a return to make. I suppose everyone else decided to hit there as well. I noticed the long line as I walked in the door. It is the holiday season and since snow was in the forecast everyone was doing last minute Christmas shopping!!! So I decided I would look for the mittens (no luck...but did find some snow pants) and do my return and purchase at the same time. I stood in the long line only to find out once I made it to a register I had to go to customer service to do a return!!! Customer service was all the way in the back of the store!!! Wife ordered some stuff online for pickup. I walked in and asked the nearest associate where I was to go. She directed me and asked my name. In the 30 seconds it took me to walk to the back, she had called them and told them I was coming. The associate in the rear greeted me by name, checked my id and handed me the items. This place rocks! Depending on what day you come the lines are extremely overfull or very empty. The service is ok. Defitnetly times were it could be better. But all the clothes are awesome! I had a bad experience at the customer service center. This means alot. If customer service experience is horrible, what good things can I say about the store. Customer service is the heart of store. I came to return my items to the store and the customer service lady was not happy with my returns. It's not my fault that my ONE FULL ORDER was delivered in multiple packages resulting in multiple receipts for some that was delivered in singles. No need to be rude about it. If it's returnable it will scan and that's that. No complications. I returned at Burke location without a problem. Kohl's customer service lady with glasses just tryna cause problems saying she can't process a return. UGH. Will never return to Manassas for returns or shop!!!! read more

Stopped by here the other day because I saw some really cute sandals online and it said this Kohl's had them in my size in store. When I got to the store I immediately went to the sandal section to look for my size and I didn't see it. I asked someone who worked there if there was another section these sandals could be at because online it had said they had them in my size but now I'm here and don't see them. She checked in their system and in fact saw that these sandals were coming up as in stock in my size. They looked all over the store but still could not find them. Finally after about 30 minutes of them searching for the sandals, they just told me maybe they would restock by the end of the week. That still doesn't explain why it clearly said they had them in stock in this store but whatever I let it go and went home. Fast forward to today. I'm on their website again and it says that they have the sandals I originally wanted, in the size I needed, in store available for pick up today. I go ahead and purchase them online and wait about 5 hours before going to pick them up. By this time I've already received an email stating that the sandals were ready to be picked up. I drive all the way to the store and pick up the sandals assuming they are in the size I ordered. As I'm walking out of the store something told me to double check the size of the sandals and to no surprise, they were the WRONG size. Not only did this Kohl's waste my time the first time but now they have done it again and this time charged me for it. I quickly returned to customer service to tell them that they were the wrong size. The lady checks in their system and said yeah it looks like we don't have them in the size you need. Okkkk? But then why would you guys allow me to purchase them in the size I need and send me an email saying they were ready to be picked up?! Love shopping here for deals on clothes, but yesterday I needed to purchase new luggage. Saw the prices of all the luggage they have and even with the sale on those (most were buy one get one half off) it wasn't the best. It was just way too much for a piece of luggage and not just the sets. Ended up going to Sears and found a 7-piece set for $150(sale price). Still love my Kohl's but maybe when they have a better deal on the luggage then that time I'll buy from them but as of now I will stick to just purchasing clothes there. read more

The merchandise is pretty decent, so are the prices (when on sale). Sadly this location is so crowded with clothing racks you can barely move around. It's like being at Walmart on Black Friday. It's not the amount of customers, just the amount of stuff them jam into every square inch. The store is also kinda dark. It's like a weird, stuffed cave. My biggest complaint is he cashiers ask you for a zip code. When I refused, the cashier said she couldn't process without one. I then stubbornly said "well, I'm homeless- so figure it out." She got a little huffy, but finished the transaction without a zip. Another annoyance would be the condition of the shopping carts/child seats. They are dirty, broken, and full of trash. I went in to buy a couple pairs of shoes. They had what I was looking for so that part was great. However, there was only one cashier in the store she was helping a lady with her returns it was a short line. After waiting for quite a while there was a loudspeaker announcement for cashier help. Several minutes later still no additional cashiers. There were people stocking items which needs to be done but if the customer service stinks no one will buy those items. In my case there is a shoe store next to Kohls I may try them out next time. Btw I received good service when I finally got to the cashier but the people behind me may stull be waiting. read more

Kohl's Manassas 11190 Bulloch Drive Manassas, VA 20109 Bad Customer Service Damien! On September 16th 2019 between 11 am -12 pm I went to return 5 bracelets that I was trying to match up to my prior purchases because they were not all the same size in the beads. There was a women in jewelry I can't remember her name couldn't do the return so she called for help. Damien came and I told him that I wanted to return all bracelets, he said that something looks suspicious and shady that I always come in to return bracelets and that he's not going to return them that to go to the other stores at Haymarket and Fairfax or send the items back to kohl's.com. These were his exact words I turned out after he said that because it made me feel very uncomfortable and sick to my stomach that he was basically accusing me of stealing these items. I told him that I did not steal the bracelets that I had all my receipts to return them before and now and I have a kohl's account. I did not want to even speak to him or hear anything he had to say afterwards anymore. But after he said that so I told Damien that I wanted to speak to his manager that was on duty and he told me to hold on for a bit, went somewhere and then came back and said that he was doing me a favor by retuning the items and giving me the kohl's cash that I had spent on the bracelets. There's more to this but by then I really didn't care to say anything to him because he's not worth my time and peace. I'm a regular shopper who shops at kohl's in store and online for my entire family and this was the first time I've had this type of experience which was the worst from Damien. Just to be clear Damien can never DETER me I love shopping at kohl's in store and online and will continue to do so. read more

I like this Kohl's. It's easy to get to from my house and it's never too busy. (Maybe it is because we go during off hours?) I went yesterday with my fiance so he can use his Kohl's cash. I like the layout of this store more than the one near Fair Oaks Mall. It's a one-level store and if you can't find something--an employee is nearby to help. This location WAS good, but not so much in the past year especially when you need to return anything. I tried taking the online survey that they give on your receipt, but there isn't a survey for the return line where they need the most improvement. Anytime I need to exchange the same item for a different size they make me do a full return and then repurchase the item. Last time the item was a gift given to my daughter that was the wrong size and I had to pay the difference just for a different size. Today I found the coupon and wanted to use it on a purchase I made the day before, but they said I could only do that if I paid with a Kohls credit card (BTW, their interest rates are terrible which is why I never use the card). Overall the return center is too much like Wal-mart and I am just about to the point where I will not return to Kohls much like I have not been to a Wal-mart in over a year. read more
