Of the five thrift shops in Leesburg that I'm familiar with, the Resourceful Woman is tied for…read morefourth with Blossom and Bloom. But, since all five are great, that isn't a bad thing. Rather, it just means it's the fourth best thrift shop in the area. I try to hit all the thrift shops at least once per week. For most of the others, their stock rotates pretty quickly. But I've noticed at the Resourceful Woman they don't seem to have as much turn around. This really just means that people in the area are not donating many items to them, so it isn't really their fault. As with most of the other stores (all but the Salvation Army), they are 100% charitable, with their work force being, as far as I know, volunteer. The people are nice, and their merchandise is laid out clearly and is easy to find. They have two fitting rooms if you would like to try on clothing. Some of their items tend to be a bit over priced, but for the most part they are decently priced. Overall, it is definitely worth visiting if you are already in the area, but probably not worth a trip on its own.
