Fried Chicken Salad
Rick S.

The service is very friendly and helpful. The food is cooked fresh to order and is prepared fast. Parking is easy. They do often have a BOGO "Free Bowl" promotional 2 for the price of 1 coupon distributed in neighboring South Bay Beach Cities residential circulars (embedded into coupon formatted small magazine pages)

Menu as of March 2026

Had a coupon for a BOGO deal so decide to check it out. The menu we found online and on yelp were out of date so wasn't prepared when I go there to grab take out. I just added the current menu they have. The restaurant was nice and cozy, the service was friendly and prompt, and the food was good. They fancied it up a bit so a little more pricey than what we anticipated, but it was still very good. My friend got the surf and turf pad thai which she enjoyed and I got the teriyaki chicken which I thought was also good but again I think pricey for what it is. Overall great experience. Might be a little more worth the price if dining in. They have lots of beer and sake options to choose from.

It was by luck I discovered this place. I had an appointment at a chiropractor's clinic nearby and just happen to drive through this corner and noticed this place. I was curious, so I looked them up, and to be honest, the hook that pulled me is that one bargain buy: 2 egg rolls for $2.47. Came through at first opportunity. They're a popular spot. Half the tables were already occupied and a few people were standing around waiting for their takeout. The kiosk was very easy to use. I put in an order for the rolls as well as garlic noodles with steak. I noticed Tera Coffee next door so I came through and got a drink (that's for another review.) Talk about perfect timing - my number was called soon as I returned here with my drink. EGG ROLLS: Nothing to call home about but above decent especially for the pricing. Cooked to order crispy on the outside and nice seasoning inside. It's a good starter. GARLIC NOODLE STEAK: Like the egg roll, also notching to call home about. Noodles were cooked perfect with a good amount of garlic. The steak was a bland for my taste. I felt it could use seasoning. Some of the pieces were also cooked tough. Overall dish is not horrible, but has room for improvement. FOOD: 3.5. More so because of cheap eats! (Egg rooms were worth it.) SERVICE: 3. Very minimal interaction. VALUE: 3.5. Wasn't bad. PARKING: Shares with others. Plenty to choose from, shouldn't be an issue. OVERALL: 3.25. Most of their items are below $10. There are plenty you can get here for very reasonable pricing. Will most likely return to try many other offerings!

I found this place while scouting for new tea shops and finding the connected Tera Coffee. The interior is clean and bright with high ceilings. The service was self-service then the food is delivered to table. I got the steak teriyaki and bulgolgi egg nori bun. The steak teriyaki had older slightly tough steak with good teriyaki sauce that added a nice flavor. There was also a white sauce that added a good creaminess as well. The rice was alright and the vegetables were negligible. The sauces were the star of the dish. The bulgolgi egg nori bun was dripping with grease which caused the hamburger buns to get soggy. The fried wonton skin and bulgolgi does well in providing texture but the nori wasn't really prevalent and the eggs were funky. They tasted they were out of an egg yolk carton and didn't suit my taste when clashing with the cream sauce. On an additional note, the prices for this place is incredibly reasonable. This is a good quick lunch place but I wouldn't really recommend it for a nice place to eat.

I wanted to like this spot - their space is beautiful with an outdoor patio and easy parking. I did uber eats so it was just a pickup. There was a self service table with sauces, utensils, water and napkins. My pad Thai tofu order was supposed to be vegetarian and there were multiple pieces of bacon in it! Yikes! It was a shock to see so many bits of bacon in a vegetarian dish. I get how food contamination can happen but this is a lot. Attaching photo for reference.

Orange chicken bowl

So glad this area has Asian fusion food and at such a reasonable price too! I ordered the orange chicken bowl and it was the right portion size for me. It was crispy, tender, and tangy. The restaurant is pretty much self-serve except for when they bring the food out to you, including kiosks to order your food. Plenty of parking available. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating as well.

The Baseline: For fast-casual Asian food the flavors need to be authentic, the portions have to be properly sized, and the restaurant must be comfortable and stylish. Food: The size, selection, flavor, and quality of the ingredients were okay but I wasn't feeling the Asian flavors. I had to add sauces to make it work better. This is an easy lunch spot for surrounding offices to get a quick Asian inspired meal. This place hits the baseline but I was hoping for more. Service: The staff is friendly and the service was efficient. Atmosphere: Fast and casual restaurant with a fun atmosphere. I really liked the large President Teddy Roosevelt quote on the wall. Bathroom was clean.

We stopped by the Second Wind in El Segundo right by LAX, after hearing about it from some friends (who actually work at LAX). I gotta say it's a solid spot. It looks relatively new and the interior is very cool with anime and pop art stuff. The bar is connected to both inside and outside areas which is nice. We tried: Bulgogi Alfredo Pasta, Sriracha Hot Honey Wings, Flaming Wagyu, Snow Crab Avocajete Dip. I loved the snow crab dip. Its like a avocado dip but add snow crab and some Asian flavorings. Really enjoyed it. The flaming wagyu was also very good, and liked how they torch it table side for you. The bulgogi pasta was good too, and really captures the Asian fusion aesthetic here. They actually have a coffee/boba place located right inside the restaurant which is convenient to get some sweets after. Overall, we enjoyed it and plan on coming back to try some other items.

Chicken Fried Rice

The very first time I saw the menu on Uber Eats, I was in disbelief. "Whats with the seemingly random numbers? Are these mispriced? Is this a scam? If it's not a scam, how small could their bowls possibly be for them to be priced at 8 dollars AND BOGO?" I ended up taking a leap of faith and, wow - I am shocked. Fast, affordable, reasonably portioned, and tasty! We ordered the Garlic Shrimp Noodles and the Chicken Fried Rice - where were both BOGO, meaning they were about 4 dollars a bowl. Now, these bowls probably aren't going to be life changing, never-had-anything-better experiences, but they were really good! The flavors overall were done well (loved the Garlic Shrimp Noodles especially) and I was genuinely shocked by how generous the portions and proteins were at this price point. We'll definitely be ordering again and visiting in person in the near future - especially to take advantage of their nice outdoor patio. It's rare to find something so affordable and so good in Culver City, so here's hoping they stick around!

Cute little spot in El Segundo that I stopped by on the way home from LAX. It's fast, has a simple menu, affordable, and tasty. The inside is spacious with lots of room to sit. You can either order at a counter or at a kiosk. I tried ordering at the kiosk even though there was a very friendly and welcoming employee who offered to take my order. I was already on a roll with my order so I just kept going. Anyway, we both ordered garlic noodles. Mine had chicken and my bf got shrimp. Both dishes are affordable and the portion is decent. If you're absolutely ravenous, you will want more than one bowl. I thought it was a good amount since we wanted to try the coffee shop connected to The Second Wind. There is a condiment and water area to get your own condiments/spices, water, silverware, napkins, etc. Once you get your stuff, sit down, and your food is brought to your table. All in all, it's a convenient place to get a fast, affordable meal and who doesn't love noodles?!

Spicy Chili Lime Chicken Rice Bowl + Vietnamese Coffee To-Go
Maggie A.

These prices are unbelievably affordable for LA! We ordered vietnamese coffee for under $5 and each bowl of food we ordered cost under $10 with good portions. Even with the affordable prices the food was delicious and the service was fast. All the staff were friendly and the overall ambiance of the restaurant was relatively calm and spacious. I ordered the Spicy Chili Chicken Lime Rice Bowl to-go. The chicken was crispy, citrusy, and overall delicious! The vegetables didn't have much seasoning so I'd recommend adding the chili powder, vinegar, or chili fish sauce they leave by the counter to taste. Be warned though the fish sauce is very spicy. I don't eat large portions so I was able to save my bowl for a second meal! The Vietnamese coffee was also sweet and strong - so pretty much what you want from a Vietnamese coffee. Their menu has a large selection of drinks which we're very interested in trying next. Overall we would love to come back to this restaurant! Affordable prices, fast service, friendly staff, and good portion sizes :)

Pad Thai W /Chicken

pretty affordable food! you can definitely tell the food is asian-inspired, which is on brand for them. i got a chicken pad thai and it tasted alright. it's obviously not the real thing if you want an actual pad thai, but it somewhat does the job. pretty spacious dining area with two self-ordering kiosks and one cashier. there is a condiment table where you can get all your spices and sauces. very nice staff and they make the food pretty quick.

5 stars 1. Restaurant was clean 2. It was easy to order, love seeing photos on the kiosk so you know what you are getting. 3. Service was fast. 4. Service was super friendly. 5. Priced very good - for the amount of food you get. The bulgogi tacos were super good. Good about amount of meat on the dishes we were served.

Went early to see if anything opened or if walk-in would be faster, surprisingly they actually had something come available sooner. We opted to sit inside and loved the ambiance. Food - amazing! I read reviews first and watched a couple IG videos so I knew a general idea of what we wanted to order. Glad the server suggested the orange chicken over the walnut shrimp when we were debating it. Chil wontons, absolutely a must get, different from DTF, not crazy spicy but full of flavor and richness. XO fatty noodles, perfect chewiness on the rolled noodles and the flavors were well balanced, we enjoyed them with a little chili paste and the orange chicken as the protein. Orange chicken, soooo much more flavorful than your average Panda Express orange chicken, good sized nuggets of chicken that were crispy and tender at the same time, and the zest livened it up. BBQ pork shank, our server did warn us it's not the easiest to eat, but it's worth it, hard to see cutting it off the bone because it was so dimly lite in the restaurant and your hands will get sticky but once you get chunks off the bone and your bao bun built it's delicious especially when you get the lacquered crispy skin yummm! Only skip for the night was the mango sticky rice. Much rather would've spend $8 on something else. The mango was tart/sour. The sticky rice was too wet and mushy. It was a pass for both of us. Service - our server was awesome. From greeting to end, he was the right amount of attentive and was super helpful with suggestions. Everyone from the food runner to the busser, they were all so nice. From getting us chili paste or to go containers, customer service was on point. Parking - love love that are a few parking spaces right out front. They're metered. But after 8pm it was free so perfect for us. Other than those spaces, there's a lot across the street if you want to risk it or also side streets parking too.

She told us that we could be seated at the bar immediately, which is what we opted for. She placed us at a lower portion of the bar with two seats, which was perfect. The bartender, Justin took our drink and dinner order and I have to say, he makes amazing cocktails! We had egg rolls for an appetizer, which arrived very quickly and went well with our cocktails. I ordered a rye old-fashioned and my wife ordered a house creation, "Jesuit's Tea Party," which she enjoyed. For our entrees, I ordered Hainan Chicken and my wife had the Walnut Shrimp. Mine was really good, but I have to say I like the Walnut Shrimp better. They have their breading skills dialed in, so next time I think I'd go with something fried. All in all a great experience. Great vibe and everyone was very friendly and attentive.

They also offer burgers, sandwiches, and poke bowls as well as breakfast dishes. I finally came here for lunch and it wasn't too busy on a Wednesday. Hubby got the Ahi Tuna Poke Salad and it was a generous portion! The ingredients were fresh and the ginger miso dressing was delicious. I got the Chicken Katsu and Fried Chicken Combo, which came with salad, rice and mac salad. The Fried Chicken was seasoned and fried to perfection! So juicy too. The chicken katsu was a bit disappointing though. The chicken was pounded paper thin and the panko crust, although it was crispy and not too oily, separated from the chicken. The sides were pretty average. I heard they also have live music on the weekends and evenings, which is great in their spacious dining area. Love the cute drawings and messages from locals and the collection of ladybugs and lucky cats. I would come back since I work close by. I would definitely get the fried chicken again and try other dishes on their extensive menu. Friendly and efficient service. Free parking lot in the back.

The service was nice. We came here because all of the locations we wanted to try were really booked with long waits. I was surprised there was no wait or not many people here on such a busy night. Glad we got to try it and cross of the list. The décor here is also really interesting with an open kitchen and patio. Also, speaking of open kitchen, there's a 3% charge on the food that's call Kitchen Love. Not sure if that's the standard at restaurants in the area or if it's on the menu but that can definitely rack up with a full dinner with friends. As for parking, there's meters if you're lucky to snag a spot or there's plenty of parking structures in the area.

I stopped in on a Tuesday for lunch and knew I was going to get the curry puffs. The last time I ordered these I was with a friend and had to share but not this time. I was on a solo lunch and looking forward to the puffs! To say they are "perfect" seems insufficient. They were fried incredibly well, hot, crunchy, tasty, but never greasy. And these little puffs were filled with minced beef, potatoes, and seasoning! For my main dish, I chose the dragon noodles (pad thai) with chicken. All the veggies in the dish were cooked perfectly, nothing too mushy, just the right amount of crunch/bite to the cabbage, broccoli, and carrots. And the chicken was chunky! And while I loved everything about the dish, the sprinkling of the crushed peanuts was *chef's kiss*. There's no skimping on those peanuts here. As I write this I'm excited for the leftover noodles waiting for me. When you walk into Sausalido you really do feel welcomed. The space is unassuming in the best way possible.
