Understand that not everything will be perfect but I probably shouldn't have been the one to have to point thing out like basic window operation not being correct, missing exterior caulking, etc. Some issues were fixed the day of install but most needed several service calls to address. As of today (two months later), I am still waiting for two defective windows to be replaced in the kitchen. The front office phone reps were all great as is the service tech that has come out the last three times. I just wish I didn't need to adjust my schedule to accommodate all of these visits. Since I'm still waiting for the original job to be completed, I can't in good conscience leave a review better than two stars. 4/14/26: Windows were completed today. Jim has years of experience and has the ability to be consultant for you throughout the decision making process. I purchased a brand new home that did not have any window treatments provided by the builder. Jim arrived, measured and surveyed all of the windows, then gave me several recommendations. Jim has a full suite of options including traditional blinds (of all types), window shades (of all types and colors), styles (top down/bottom up, motorized, etc). Jim quoted very reasonable prices that were highly competitive. I ultimately made the choice to do white top down/bottom up shades in nearly every window of the house. Jim even made recommendations on which windows the shades wouldn't be necessary for. He could have easily tried to upsell, but he is honest and very realistic for his customers. Jim's prices were so reasonable that I was even able to do about half of my shades in a motorized format. They are battery powered shades with only one battery in each (which is rechargeable) and only needs to be charged once or twice a year. Additionally, they all sync to an app an also to wireless remote controls. Jim ordered them and it only took a few weeks for them to arrive. Finally, Jim came out and perfectly installed all of them. He walked me through how to use them and how to set-up the motorized shades. They are now on timers and go up, down, and to partially open settings at different times throughout the day. It is really a great set-up and Jim did a fantastic job. There was even one shade that wasn't opening/closing smoothly after install, which Jim re-ordered at no cost. He made another trip back out to install the re-ordered shade and fix it once it arrived. Jim truly does a fantastic job and goes above & beyond.

We paid $171.71 for a service tech to come out and measure a spot for a new sliding door. I called the company and they still don't have a quote for us and wasn't sure when we would get that. Now this was just to get the price and specifications for the purchase of a sliding glass door. I'm not sure I even want to know what we would have gone through to get the actual door from these guys. Anyhow, we will obviously go elsewhere.

I rent a couple rooms in an older home with unique windows. Not to mention the HUGE spiders that would make their way into the house through the windows! Dane scheduled an appointment for me, then a couple guys came out and built window screens right on the spot. I'm SO happy! The screens fit my casement windows that have a turn crank as a handle. They are also flush - so no more spiders/bugs getting in! And now I don't have to worry about frying in the summer or my cat escaping. Price was very fair at around ~$60 per screen, and a separate service charge. If I ever move into another place without window screens, I know who to call. 100% recommend.

A year into the pandemic, we realized the seal and thermal break on our bedroom windows had failed. We needed custom windows for our 75+ year-old home. There was a backlog of orders, supply chain issues, and all the other fun challenges in 2021. When the windows arrived, the factory made an honest mistake with one window that was 1/4 inch too narrow to fit correctly. A second window had minor but visible damage that happened in shipping to Intermountain. Interment had the issues corrected, and they kept us informed on the replacement windows order status and shipping. They even sent us photos of inspecting the replacement windows as they came off the truck from the factory to ensure we were happy before scheduling the next install date. They are professional, respectful, and honest. When it's time to redo the windows in our guest room and living room, I will only call Intermountain. -Dave K.
