The gentleman who helped us was so kind and answered all our questions. He was very knowledgeable about ingredients and how the ice cream was made. The different flavors of ice cream were so delicious. It was very creamy and many different flavors to choose from. Very cute vibe and very quiet atmosphere
Honestly very good concept- organic and fresh - but the ice crean was kinda of lack luster in my opinion . Go try then out for yourself . They had a tootsie roll milkshake which I found interesting . Didn't try but wasn't inline with their claim to all organic ingredients . ?
The Screamery is such a delightful place to treat your sweet tooth for any ice cream/dessert craving you might have. I discovered this place years ago when I first moved to Arizona and I'm still in love with their sweet cream honeycomb flavor. The ice cream is a sweet cream base with handmade honeycomb pieces made with local AZ honey. Every location has abundant seating inside and out. I truly recommend stopping by to try a sample or three!
Just yummmm!! The Screamery HandCrafted Ice Cream is a standout destination for ice cream enthusiasts - from the story on the wall you can tell ththey pride themselves on crafting ice cream from scratch using whole and natural ingredients, free from antibiotics, synthetic hormones, and chemical stabilizers. Patrons frequently commend the quality of their offerings. One Yelp reviewer notes, "Love this place. Ice cream is always great and service is awesome." Another customer highlights the exceptional flavors and friendly staff, mentioning, "The butter cake and peppermint chip ice cream are amazing. Staff is friendly." The Screamery's commitment to natural ingredients and handcrafted quality makes it a must-visit spot for those seeking a delightful ice cream experience in Phoenix.
Not sure what this is but whatever they are serving is definitely NOT ice cream. Frozen over, old tasting and just pure gritty through and through. Had a few flavors all were the same in texture. So many better ice cream places, almost every PINT sold at frys would knock the socks off this place. For GREAT ice cream try HANDELS. For amazing gelato go to ALLORA. Avoid this garbage. Save your $$.
I stopped in one evening with a friend for a sweet treat after going to dinner. We were looking for a nice local spot and saw the good reviews so decided to pop in here. As we entered we were impressed by the bright and cheery interior. It's simple, yet nicely decorated and inviting, and very brightly lit. It felt very clean. However, our initial enthusiasm was slightly dampened when we realized that there were no staff members present to greet us or take our order. We had to wait for a while before two teenage workers emerged from the back. While they were polite and quick in serving us, they seemed rather unenthused about serving customers. One of the teenagers in particular caught my attention as he had an airpod in one ear the entire time he was working with customers. This may be uncomfortable for some folks. It didn't necessarily bother me but it may bother other customers. the second teenager just seemed like he didn't want to be there. Almost like we were inconveniencing him. Despite this, we ordered our ice cream and I opted for a scoop of the key lime flavor which was refreshing and tangy. My friend raved about her flavor choice as well. The quality of the ice cream is definitely top notch, but I did feel that the prices were a bit steep. A single scoop is going to sit you back around $6. That's a bit more than I'm used to paying. Overall, I would recommend this spot for their tasty ice cream, but be prepared for potentially spotty service and higher than average prices. If the staff can work on their customer service skills and maybe leave their airpods behind this please could easily be a five-star destination. Until then it's still worth a visit if you're in the mood for sweet treat but be prepared for potentially unenthusiastic service and feeling like you're an inconvenience.
Even though I was the only customer in during the time I was there, the ice cream was delicious. Even the nondairy ice cream is almost a sin to me.. Customer service was excellent as I was the only customer, but the singular employee was very friendly. We even split a cherry drink, called cherry wine, no alcohol, that she had never tasted before, I had never tasted before. I asked her if she wanted to open it and pour some for herself so she could taste it and tell people what it taste like.
We went here after dinner at ChopShop. It was just next door! I love that it's local and have flavors inspired by Arizona like Sweet Sonoran Desert! I got the Coffee Toffee on waffle cone and mu husband got the Scream Sundae. Let's just say it was a lotttt of ice cream between us. They were delicious! I'm down to come back and try more of their flavors!
I'm always game for ice cream. Always. We went with a large group and the menu was SO FUN! The teenage worker was very helpful and patient with all the samples we wanted to try. I went basic with chocolate chip cookie dough, but the flavors were unique and fun. The quality of ice cream was top notch and we all really enjoyed it. Definitely try this place if you love ice cream. You won't be disappointed!!
The Screamery is seriously amazing! The ice cream here is so creamy - different from any other ice cream shops I've been to before. They also have the most unique flavors and they're ALL absolutely delicious! We got the Strawberry Lemonade Sorbet and Peppermint Chocolate Chip- both were amazing!!! My normal favorite is the Sweet Cream Honeycomb (must try!) I also love that the change their flavors regularly. The staff is always friendly and attentive :) This place is always very clean and ready for customers. Definitely has become my go-to spot for ice cream!

I have been trying to get my husband to go to screamery with me for ages and I'm so glad I finally got to try it tonight! It was not busy at all. They have a lot of flavors and some unique ones! I tried the butter cake and cowboy cookie samples. Both so delicious. You can get 2 flavors any size so I got a kids with cookie dough ice cream and cowboy cookie snd added hot fudge. It was so amazing. My husband got cookies and cream and cookie dough with salted caramel topping and said it was good! People working here were super on top of things too. Really glad I finally got to come here! read more

Came highly recommended so was very excited to visit. Service was great. Flavor options ok. We tried several flavors. Banana pudding flavor was good but consistency was crumbly not creamy as expected. We also coffee toffee, which was ok! Plus you pay extra even for a cake cone.. read more
The ice cream here was amazing. They were very accommodating of our group of 7 being from out of the area and needing a little extra time (and samples). I tried the ice cream with the fresh honeycomb in it and it was DELICIOUS. Friendly, clean, delicious! read more

Definitely enjoyed the ice cream here. The blueberry cheesecake was cold, creamy and had tons of blueberry swirl. This was good ice cream. The other flavor choice was a more lemon forward ice cream. Only $11 for two medium scoops. read more

Three words: ice cream flight. I didn't even look further even though their menu is extensive. Sundaes and such. Anyways you get to choose 6 flavors of their hand crafted ice cream. We chose to share as we had just had a full dinner. The two girls working were friendly and efficient and the line moved quickly. It's a cute shop with plentiful seating including at the counter and outdoor. Onto the ice cream flavors from my favorite to least favorite. 1- cookies and cream. How can you go wrong with soft Oreos in a clean vanilla base. 2- chocolate peanut butter cup. Very yum but it has peanut butter cups in it and not actual peanut butter which I would have liked more. 3 - triple play. This has three chocolate flavors - ice cream base brownie bits and chocolate chips, oh so good. 4 - Mississippi mud pie - espresso tasting ice cream with fudge swirl and chocolate cookies 5 - cowboy cookie ( the girl working chose it for us as it was her favorite) has oatmeal cookie pieces and walnuts in a salted caramel vanilla base I believe. I liked the cookie chunks but that was about it. 6 - bourbon brittle. This was my least favorite even though others rave about it - makers mark base and pecans. Not my thing. Overall I'm not a huge specialty ice cream person I like regular flavors not fancy new interesting ones but I loved the fact that you can try so many flavors for so cheap and if you really like one get a regular scoop! Awesome place I'd like to go get another flight and try the rest of the flavors! read more
The big beautiful cow in the window caught my eye, she was mooing us to come in! Couldn't pass up ice cream voted best in Tuscan 2021 :) One scoop each of these flavors: SWEET CREAM HONEYCOMB - creamy sweet cream base with pieces of slightly chewy honeycomb! This flavor was also voted as a fan favorite. It was delicious! MISSISSIPPI MUDPIE - coffee base, with homemade chocolate cookies and fudge swirl. Could have used a stronger coffee flavor, it was too mild for my tastebuds. Ice cream was rich and smooth, glad the cow moo'd us in! read more
As the rich warm dry desert air ever so slowly glazed across my face, I sat there with the widest grin upon my lips as the creamiest of iced creams danced upon my tastebuds, moving and flowing across my palate akin to a rich pyroclastic flow on the Hawaiian Islands on its way to the sea. The environment is filled rustic decor, brick and painted walls lined with barnyard style wooden trim, heavily themed with cow print painted trim, hinting to the delicious dairy products that reside within. This was my 7th trip to Screamery in the past few years and at least I felt it was time to leave a review. They offer free samples on plastic spoons so you can dip your toe in on their unique exotic all natural flavors. This ice cream has ingredients you want find anywhere else. If you have my reviews before however, you will know I'm a plain Jane, but if a place can knock the basics out of the park, it's usually good sign. I usually get the chocolate chip cookie dough, and this time I got their ice cream nachos variety with hot fudge. The waffle cone chips were thin and sweet and perfectly complimented the creamy treat. This is the best ice cream in Phoenix! read more
The hype is real. The ice cream is slightly thicker than a typical ice cream but not so much that it feels heavy. I tried several flavors and ended up with the blueberry cheesecake and the buttercake. Both were delicious and unlike any other ice cream I've had before. The waffle cone was light and crispy and not too sweet. It did feel like it could break at any point but that's true of any cone I think. There's a good amount of sitting space inside which is perfect during a hot summer day. The only bummer was I wanted to try the munchies flavor but they had just swapped it out for a new one. Hopefully next time! read more
Hubby and I stopped by here after getting pedicures today. I've been wanting to check this place out since we live close by but it always slips my mind. Glad we finally made it here today! When we walked up to the ice cream, we were greeted by 2 girls. I asked for a recommendation and was told that the Ooey Gooey Butter cake was here favorite so I sampled it. I was sold - got a medium sized cup of it. My husband didn't even sample it. He said my face gave him a good enough description of the ice cream and that he would have the same thing. He didn't believe me when I said I would share some of mine. I wish I looked on Yelp before we went because we probably would've gotten the ice cream flight to try other flavors but I was definitely satisfied with what I got. read more

They have some super interesting combos "munchies" will be my next flavor to try potatoe chips in ice cream... Yes please!! You get 2 scoops in a small cup. Between and my boyfriend. It I was super affordable. A little of 6 bucks I honestly can't say that's bad. read more

Ah! I was beyond delighted to see this local Tucson favorite finally set up a Phoenix Metro location. No more having to purchase pints from Whole Foods! The brick and mortar is easy to find, right next to an Original ChopShop in a shopping complex with plenty of parking. The interior is cute and country with decorative cow accents everywhere (pictures to benches). Step up to the counter where youthful and friendly employees are eager to take your order. The Screamery uses local ingredients and milk from grass-fed cows. The premium dairy does come at a premium price - a pint here will set you back about $10.95. We ended up getting a six scoop flight: Honey Comb, Ooey Gooey Butter Cake, Raspberry Cheesecake, Rough At Sea, Bees Knees, Strawnana Sorbet. Rough At Sea (sea salt base, honey-butterscotch swirl with candied pecans, almonds and pistachios) and Raspberry Cheesecake (cheesecake base swirled with a fresh raspberry puree) were hands down my favorites. For more adventurous type, that have endless black holes where a stomach should be (or large groups that want to share), can try the Farmhouse: your choice of brownie or cookie topped with 24 scoops of ice cream! If you have not been to The Screamery, it's not too late to moooove your tail on down to enjoy your fill of cool treats and plenty of cow pun opportunities. read more

A great place to get a lot of ice cream variety in Scottsdale! They specialize in grass-fed ice cream, so you can definitely feel a little better about the ice cream you eat, but not quite sure if that actually made a difference. The ice cream was a bit creamier than other places, so maybe if that was the difference it was. They had a huge variety of ice cream to choose from. I got the butter pecan and the cookies and cream scoops, and they were both pretty good, but definitely on the sweet side. However, I cannot say that this is the best ice cream I ever had. But the draw is definitely on the decor, the grass-fed ice cream, and the variety of ice cream that they have. Definitely worth giving this place a try! read more
Screamery New Ice Cream place on Tatum and Shea that makes it's own ice cream. Was told it is from Tucson. Nice cow theme with black and white walls and benches inside. Peppermint Chip is a fresh and tasty flavor which I would highly recommend. Also tried the Strawberry Sorbet which was ok, they are very willing to allow you to sample as many flavors as you want. Will come back to try other flavors read more

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! This ice cream is so good. From grass fed cows! Homemade ice cream yummy! There is about 24 flavors. I went with my family so we got the farmhouse. You choose 8 scoops of ice cream any flavor and comes with a brownie, cookie, & buttercake, then you can add any toppings you like. We added wet walnuts, fudge, caramel, sprinkles & whip cream. It was so good! Also if you buy the farmhouse they take a picture of the group & post it on their wall! So neat! There's some outdoor seating. They also give you a stamp card. read more

Great ice cream. But even better waffle cones! They make their own waffle cones and they are an absolute must have! As for the ice cream, I had the Ooey Gooey Buttercake (Vanilla ice cream mixed with butter cake pieces) and the Triple Play (Chocolate base, brownie pieces and chocolate chips). I loved that both had a generous amount of pieces of cake or brownie inside. Service was good too! My waffle cone had cracked straight down right after they gave it to me, and they were kind enough to simply put an extra one underneath. Prices are on par with most other ice cream parlors. They do have special items like ice cream flights and a farmhouse serving which are creative options. read more

Ice cream is a guilty pleasure of mine so if you're going to do it at least make sure it's good ice cream! This is creamy and flavorful. I enjoy basic strawberry ice cream but it has to be good not artificial and icy I love creamy and smooth. This feels like they are churning ice cream in the back. Just checked they are. The options are definitely plenty. I just really appreciate the quality of their ice cream. No artificial chemicals. It's handcrafted. Pasteurized on site. read more
Ice cream is never a bad idea. Especially in Arizona. I saw Screamery while driving down Shea one night after dinner and did a prompt U turn just to try it out. Their big selling point is the cows are grass fed and it's all natural. If you're big on that stuff it'll be right up your alley. They've got several different unique flavors and let you sample as many as you want. I personally found most of the flavors too sweet for me (hence 4 stars), but finally settled on 1 scoop, half and half bourbon brittle and cookies n cream. The scoops are huge. Bigger than Sweet republic. Even a single scoop can be shared here. The ice cream is creamier than most places and feels freshly churned. Would recommend. read more
Honestly this is probably the best ice cream place I've been to in the valley so far. You are greeted by a cute and clean interior, and friendly staff. They have the descriptions of all of their flavors on the board behind the counter which is awesome, but they are willing to answer any questions you have as well. They also encouraged us to sample flavors. I only sampled the raspberry cheesecake which was amazzzzzing. I decided to go with the flight (yes you read that right: ICE CREAM FLIGHT!!) so I decided to just try some flavors instead of sampling aggressively. We also ordered the nachos (yes: ICE CREAM NACHOS!!). Waffle "chips" topped with fudge, a scoop of your choice and whipped cream. These were phenomenal. The fudge was the real stuff and whipped cream was good too. The chips were awesome. Highly recommend. The flight comes with six mini scoops. They are a good size though, perfect to get a taste. I believe the flight is $7.50. Worth it in my opinion if you want a variety. As for my flavor selections... Bees knees : vanilla with lavender and honey. This was big time lavender. I was mostly just curious on the flavor.. if you like lavender you'll love this. I wasn't sold on it myself but I usually like a more subtle flavor when it comes to that. Cowboy cookie: salted caramel with oatmeal, walnut, choc chip cookie. I enjoyed this. It was a different flavor than I usually see. Solid. Rough at sea: Vanilla with candied pecans, almonds , pistachios and a honey swirl. I was allllll about this. The candied pecans made it. Awesome! Chocolate chip cookie dough: standard chocolate chip cookie dough. Dough chunks are larger than average brands. Similar flavor. Coffee toffee: coffee with toffee and chocolate. More toffee than coffee but still tasty. I love coffee flavor though so I could do with more of that. Triple play: chocolate, brownie and chocolate chips. Very chocolatey. The ice cream tasted more fudgesicle (I think this is a flavor too) but was still a good chocolatey mix. Overall, awesome spot and good flavors. I'd definitely return. They have some amazing-sounding sundaes and other menu items. Pretty sure I spied milkshakes. read more
