Finallllly made it to the Saucy Cup even though they have been open for months now. I was driving by and saw no line so I knew I was in luck. I ordered the hot pistachio latte, hot Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte, Breakfast Club Wrap and the Coffee Donut Croissant to go. Everything was great -- the coffee donut croissant is a standout for sure!! The Saucy Cup is just about always busy with a line out to the sidewalk so I wouldn't make this my everyday coffee run for that reason. However, I do live close enough that I can drive by quickly and check out the line to make a quick decision about where I am going to get coffee.

After months of social media hype, we had to see what the Saucy Cup was all about. We came here to grab breakfast early Sunday morning and here is how it went down. The place is relatively tiny and right off rt23, the parking is as awful as the other reviews say. there are maybe 6 spots squeezed into the loop around the building. Calling it a parking lot is generous so be prepared. There are 2-3 small tables w a few chairs on the front lawn and you order at a window (no bathrooms and no "inside"). A lot of reviews complain about waiting and even at 8am on sunday i had to wait behind one couple to place an order. Three drinks took about 5 minutes and our food took another 10 minutes. Overall not too bad but the wait times must be crazy later in the day. For the drinks we got 2 coffees and a matcha. My sister loved the matcha and i even asked them to make it half sugar for her. the flat white and drip were good but just okay. i would not come back for "regular" coffee but their speciality drinks live up to the hype. we got the veg egg wraps too (i forgot the name). while they were pricey, they were also delicious. i love the spicy mayo sauce for dipping. Ratios were perfect and the tortillas were soft and fresh. to my surprise though the stars of the show were the pastries!! the coffee croissant was out of this world. crispy sweet and a strong hit of coffee flavor. it was kind of like a cronut. the coconut croissant was also to die for. a super unique combo with light coconut cream inside and a crunchy topping. i was truly impressed by the pastries. so the question - was it worth it and does it live up to the hype? overall i'd say yes but it is not worth waiting more than 20-25 minutes for. skip the regular coffee drinks and go for the fancy drinks if that's your thing. Definitelt try the pastries!! hot food is very good but the wait will probably be long and there are equally delicious options nearby. prices higher than i'd like but not crazy. i didnt want to like it this much because it has taken over my ig feed but it really is a great spot.

After waiting months to try it due to how long the lines had been.. I was not impressed by the latte... unfortunately it did not really stand out to me. I had the cinnamon toast, crunch latte, and there was nothing special about it. It actually tasted a bit watered down. However, the Nutella croissant was delicious... I have a whole list of places I wanna go to however I'll wait a bit before I try this one again. Service was quick and easy they gave you a buzzer once your stuff is ready. I was there at 8 AM so there was no line.

We came here on Holy Thursday. It was rainy. Didn't know it was a pure outdoor ordering system. We ordered the honey bee latte and the Cinnamon Social latte, breakfast wrap and the Whipped Ricotta. They were all well made and delicious. The ricotta with the balsamic vinegar and tomatoes was divine. Can't want to go back to have another. We went early enough that there wasn't a line.

Strawberry Shortcake Matcha & Cookies & Cream Cold Brew

Have seen so many posts on social media figured I had to go try for myself! Times it just right not having any line and a table to enjoy my goodies on a Thursday morning. The staff was super friendly and got the order out in a timely manner. Tried the hashbrown cheesy bread and it was so good I totally forgot to snap a picture. For drinks I got 2 items off the sprint menu- the strawberry shortcake Matcha and cookies and cream cold brew. They were both made to perfection.

So far I've been here twice and been fortunate not to experience the super long lines I see others have to wait on. Very small parking lot and they do have some tables out front if you want to enjoy your items there or to wait. Could be a nice spot to have a coffee date when the weather is nice again. I have tried the tiramisu latte and the caramel miso latte. I also had the Nutella croissant. Let me tell you that croissant was worth every dollar. It was so good and they did not hold back on the Nutella. I like the coffee they use there. I will say although they look like their drinks would be super sweet so far that hasn't been my experience which is fine with me. Truly enjoy the taste of coffee. I do prefer the taste once stirred though because there is more flavor. Great service every time and the orders come out pretty quick. Definitely worth a try especially if there isn't a long line. Also their prices are pretty reasonable. Not sure if this is a tip or not but I've gone around 805-815am both times and that is when there have been no lines. Also the entrance to the parking lot is on the back of the building.

shorter line during weekdays in the afternoon and so didnt mind the wait. tried their ube matcha and thought it was bland at first until i mixed it well. It was good but lacked the ube flavor that I was looking for. Also tried their seasonal Mango Matcha and it was also nice and sweet, good balance of both flavors. 15min wait for a bit long for their Chicken vodka wrap but luckily this also had good flavor. Waited to eat this at home so i became slightly soggy but not bad. Was still hot and flavorful when i had it for lunch, good portion too. their dessert, fried gnocchi with nutella and pistachio, was a veeery nice treat! love the chew and the sweetness! they look like cute marbles lol and it was a good amount thats perfect to share.

Vanilla Latte Iced, Dolce Baklava lattes hot and iced
Michael R.

Finally made the trip over to try this place and we got there early enough that the line wasn't that long, we got our order in after about 10 mins, but after ordering it probably took 30 mins to get the coffee. That said it was all really good coffee! The Vanilla iced latte definitely had a great espresso taste not burnt and not overly sweet. The Dolce Baklava was also a great unique coffee but didn't taste much like pistachio which is what made me order it. The Coffee Croissant Donut tasted EXACTLY like paris Baguettes if you've ever had that one, a tad too much icing makes it really sweet so just know that going into it. I'd recommend if there's no line, definitely try it out but I wouldn't wait 45 mins for coffee more than once.

Tiramisu latte

I'm torn about what to rate this spot because although I wasn't loving it, I also didn't hate it. I've heard the lines can get super long but I was very lucky when I went, there was only 2 people in front of me. I probably should have decided what I wanted to order before I got to the ordering window because I got flustered and ordered a tiramisu latte. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but it's something I've had in other coffee shops. So I wanted to try something more unique to their location, I should have went with the caramel miso latte. I also ordered the breakfast wrap and that's definitely not worth $12, nothing special about it. Very blah. Next time, I will skip the food and just stick with drinks. Because I do wanna go back and try some other options. Staff was nice, wait time was minimal. Today was actually a fairly nice day so was able to wait outside with my dog without freezing.

Latte Biscotto
Maggie L.

Definitely try to get here early to avoid a long line! I definitely understand the long line though! These coffees are aesthetically beautiful and fun. They also have lots of flavors. My favorite was the latte biscotto with the caramel cold foam adding so much flavor to it. While the red flag latte was the most beautiful, it was not as flavorful. I didn't get one, but a few people on line said their matcha is amazing. I will come back! For how many orders they get, the staff moves very quick and are friendly.

Mitzi T.

I was really lucky and got there with 4 people on line ahead of me. Staff was friendly. They have a few spots in the back of the cafe and you may get lucky which I luckily did! Iced lattes were good but can be on the sweeter side. Rise and shine wrap was good but dry, I think they might have forgotten to give me sauce based off of what I saw on other people's reviews/videos on social media. Donuts were also good but wasn't a fan of the creme filling inside - very sweet but the actual donut itself was so good especially the Nutella cronut. For the cronut - I wished they used actual Nutella filling & not the chocolate creme it kinda ruined it for me

Dulce Baklava
Priyank R.

Went to see what the hype was all about. Got three ice lattes. Dulce Baklava- not super sweet but tastey w. Pistachio foam. 8/10 Cinnamon toast crunch - super sweet, very close to taste of actual cereal. -7.5/10 Latte biscotto- 9/10 - sweet but amazing taste. Staff was friendly. They have seating outside if you want to eat there. No indoor seating.

Coffee croissant donut
Michelle J.

Such a cute spot for coffee and matcha lovers. Enjoyed my iced coffee and coffee croissant donut. Be advised parking is limited, it's outdoors with no indoor seating. Arrived on a Saturday at 12 and waited an hour. Will try again when it's warmer weather

Like a little reward for surviving life. I remember this place during COVID. Empty. Deserted. Sahara level emptiness. One heroic worker holding the line, staring into the void, still making coffee like a champion. Back then my go to was their coconut cold brew... which, thank God, is STILL on the menu. Do yourself a favor and try it. It got me through lockdown emotionally. And yes, I still went to coffee shops during lockdown, coffee was essential, don't argue with me. Fast forward to today and WOW. This place has absolutely blown up, in the best way. Every time I walk in now, there are people ordering, hanging out, working remotely, pretending they're writing novels, the whole vibe. Clearly they've got regulars, but the coolest part? The baristas still help you right away and don't make you feel like you interrupted their coffee cult meeting. Immediate love. No awkwardness. Honestly, between the decor, the people, the drinks, and how clean everything is, this place just gets it. It's warm, it's cool, it's consistent, and it somehow went from "COVID ghost town" to "community hub" without losing its soul. So no, it's not my everyday stop, but when I do come, I leave happier, caffeinated. They absolutely rock it.

The perfect coffee shop for my wife and I has pour over for me and creative lattes for my wife. Cabana delivers that in a major way. They roast their own coffee and the baristas were polite and knowledgeable. I was tempted by their double dark roast or their hyper caffeinated El Chapo but the barista recommended their medium roast Legender for a first time customer. Glad he did, it was smooth and flavorful. My wife loved the foam on her chai tea latte. Plenty of comfortable seating, cozy and nicely decorated for the holiday season, and a clean bathroom rounded out a very pleasant experience!

We visited today for the Mother's Day Queen's Tea. I called to make a reservation 2 months in advance since they book up so quickly. In general, reservations are recommended as seating is limited, especially on weekends. When you arrive, you are presented with a prix-fix menu. On non-holidays, you usually have a choice between the soup or the salad of the day. You select your pot of tea from over 60 premium tea flavors. Today, I chose the "Paris" special tea, which had notes of vanilla, caramel, and bergamot. For the Mother's Day Queen's Tea, we had the broccoli and cheddar quiche, a pear, goat cheese, candied walnut, mixed green salad, scones, assorted mini sandwiches, and several mini desserts. Every course was fresh and excellent. The caramel scones are one of the best things I have ever eaten. They are served warm with clotted cream and lemon curd. The caramel is so goey and melts in your mouth. We brought some orange juice and prosecco to have mimosas with our tea. They have glassware in the back that you can request when making your reservation. The service is always top-notch. Holly is the best server! She is super sweet and always hardworking. At the entrance, there is a little gift shop with lots of cute vintage items, tea-themed trinkets, and some of the loose lea tea available in small bags. We love coming here and hope to be back again soon. BEWARE: Confirm pricing before booking…read more We had a 4:00 PM reservation on December 7th for 2 adults and 3 children under age 10, booked by phone. At no point during the reservation call, upon arrival, or during the meal were we told that this was a special holiday event priced at $60 per person, with no children's pricing, even for preschool-age kids. No menu or pricing was provided at the table. We only learned of the cost at checkout, which was extremely surprising given the pricing publicly listed elsewhere. We expected to pay $21.95 per child. Imagine our shock to be charged $60 (for a 4 year old who barely even ate anything!) That said, the tea itself was enjoyable, and we really appreciated their ability to accommodate gluten-free and nut allergies, which they handled well. The variety of teas was impressive. Afterward, I emailed the owner to raise these concerns and was told he would look into it, but I never received a follow-up. He said the pricing is on their website and social media but on their website it's buried in the events page and I don't follow their social media. I made a phone call and booked a tea reservation and didn't expect to have to cross reference multiple online sources for accurate pricing. Unfortunately, the lack of transparency and follow through overshadowed the experience and left us with a pour taste for what should have been a lovely holiday treat. Strongly recommend confirming exact price per person and asking specifically about event pricing when booking by phone, especially around holidays.

The staff seemed to be overwhelmed by the amount of people and took very long time to fulfill the order. Great for meeting up with friends, maybe even small groups (depending on the size of the group). I ordered a coffee and scone. The scone was not too sweet, which I really liked! They clearly use real ingredients and don't oversweeten recipes, which is comfortable to digest. The scone was a bit dry and hard and didn't give the flare of flavor I was hoping for-- I'd ordered a Mexican chocolate scone and wanted to taste deep smoky chocolate and spice. The flavor was much milder and middle of the road. I saved most of it but ate it over the next couple days. Tasted better once the flavors set in I guess. The coffee was just aiight though. I a huge coffee fanatic so this one hit home. Wasn't bad by any means, but didn't spark my soul either. I explore lots of vegan and GF places, and if you're in the area, do go check them out.

(cappuccino.) the second time I went I blame myself. This time I noticed both employees did not wash their hands and I ordered the same thing. There's an old gentleman that made my coffee while the other employee wore a black apron and decided to go smoke cigarettes and mingle with the people on the sidewalk. Both times I noticed that the employees don't wash their hands considering they didn't put their hands in the coffee. It's still unsanitary. The sink area was completely disgusting and wet just like if no one cared of hygiene or cleanliness. I guess they are plenty of chairs but when you have these old creepy guys sitting there watching you, it's creepy. I don't recommend this place or I don't recommend the employees that clearly don't care. I will not be going back to this place. The people that sit on the outside are obnoxious, always smoking cigarettes, and it makes the place unattractive. It's as if they're trying to reenact the Sopranos. Your first view of this establishment when getting out of your car are grease bought douche bags that clearly don't have a job sitting around before noon smoking cigarettes on total Avenue. I don't believe this is an adequate environment to sit outside and drink, coffee or inside. Fix the ambience and get rid of the employees that don't do their job properly or don't have a considerate attitude for hygiene. One thing I almost forgot to mention I don't believe that politics should be spewed by employee employees while customers are being served. Including sprinkles of Reese's rhetoric.
