The space is beautiful, everything is mad fresh daily and love love love that everything is GF, which made ordering so much easier and comfortable. BEAUTIFUL interior! Great for meeting up with friends, maybe even small groups (depending on the size of the group). I ordered a coffee and scone. The scone was not too sweet, which I really liked! They clearly use real ingredients and don't oversweeten recipes, which is comfortable to digest. The scone was a bit dry and hard and didn't give the flare of flavor I was hoping for-- I'd ordered a Mexican chocolate scone and wanted to taste deep smoky chocolate and spice. The flavor was much milder and middle of the road. I saved most of it but ate it over the next couple days. Tasted better once the flavors set in I guess. The coffee was just aiight though. I a huge coffee fanatic so this one hit home. Wasn't bad by any means, but didn't spark my soul either. We came bc my girl loves crepes and we were so happy to hear that they could make a raspberry chocolate one though it wasn't on the menu. I enjoyed my savory breakfast crepe. My husband didn't enjoy his waffle as much as it was very crunchy, probly bc it was gluten-free. Their espresso drinks were pretty decent. Very cute themed place that's entirely gluten free. I ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich and a caramel latte. My friend got their avocado toast, oatmeal blueberry dessert, and a chai latte. I would have ordered the chicken parm but sadly they do not have real mozzarella. They do carry real ricotta, pecorino romano, and blue cheese on some items on the menu but a chicken parm needs mozz. Wish they had more real cheese options since dairy free cheese just tastes too fake to me. The chicken cutlet was crispy and the sandwich came out hot. I didn't taste much of the chipotle "mayo" and the bread was a lot for how thin the chicken cutlet was so I took the top part off. The bread is good and doesn't fall apart. I love the Wicked theme, I'm surprised to have such creativity from an actual place near me, not even a pop up. I love the bakery options and they were even gluten free. The matcha was excellent, dissapointed it wasn't named after Wicked, it was literally green, but basically my only complaint. The workers seem very welcoming and caring too. read more

I went on Labor Day and they were busy but I was still unhappy with my experience here. Firstly, I got "tea for 2". Without paying much attention to the price (definitely my fault), because how much should tea and sandwich halves cost anyway. $75 is what it cost. $75 for tea, 4 sandwich halves, a slice of quiche and soup. The quiche came out refrigerator cold and my tea came out luke warm. This is a tea place...they should be able to get this right, like there should be real expertise in making sure the water is the right temperature. Furthermore, the sugar came with a sugary gunked up spoon...like other people were using the same sugar spoon. I'm not sure this is even sanitary, no guarantee that the last person didn't add sugar, taste their tea, then add more with the same spoon...only for that spoon to now end up in my tea. It was a cute place, nice atmosphere, but way overpriced and they missed the mark too many times for me to give it a good review or want to return. Instead of apologizing and saying "it's labor day and we weren't expecting a crowd", try to make it right next time. read more

This is our favorite cafe, and it is dangerous (but also peak joy) to have it within walking distance. The breakfast crepe is glorious, with the perfect balance of pesto and sausage, and while there is always a monthly scone flavor on rotation, you may find yourself dreaming of the matcha almond or peanut butter chocolate one. This place is warm and welcoming as soon as you walk in; when you're there, you feel like you're home, and I love seeing all the smiles from people enjoying this wondrous haven. Chatting with the staff (and sometimes Gina herself!) always makes my day a little brighter. Definitely try the Mooneyes Matcha if you enjoy your matcha latte with a little kick, and if you want some decadence, the peanut butter chocolate cake will knock your socks off. Place is very nicely set up and I have to say the food is prepared well. The two reasons my review dropped down is: 1. I spend half of my time living in London and the other half here. I ordered the fish and chips, which were not on the menu but were written on a counter board. The fish was excellent and the potatoes also. However, the dish did not come with tartar sauce, which would be a 'sacrilege' in London but my taste buds rebelled at the sauce that was provided. Terrible. 2. There are no waiters there so you have to order at the counter and hope the cashier hears your order correctly. And they have a few kinks to work out yet as the table we sat down at was dirty. I guess the busboy needs a little more training. These are little things and I'm sure they'll get more proficient as they get more experience running a restaurant. Good luck with this place as it will be a very good addition to the area, especially since Little Food closed down. read more

Came here with my BF because of the 4.5 star reviews. I would give 4.5 stars to the ambience & decor of the cafe. It's very cute and nicely laid out. That being said, I ordered the meatball sub, avocado toast, and a lemonade - I've never been more disappointed in eating/paying these overpriced dishes. Avocado Toast was the size of a large mozzarella stick (just 1 slice with a mountain of avocado). Meatball sub was very floury - it had more dough and flour than meatballs. Lemonade was 99% water and 1% lemon juice. We only had lemonade because all they had was coffee/teas, but no natural juices. We thought maybe we were served with the bottom/last batch of lemonade but even after adding all the sugar, it was still tasteless. All of this for $42 is a robbery. I appreciate the farm-to-table approach with the menu and theme of the cafe. I came here because of that and for the reviews. However, I was met with disappointment, a dent in my wallet, and 2 very sad tummies. Hope it improves! read more

Went for breakfast with my husband and we ended up buying the Mac n cheese to go. BEST DECISION EVER! First off we got 3 meals out of it ! Which was amazing for the price and well worth it. Very cute new café! I love a good indoor tree and this place definitely gives a homey feel coupled with trendy/cute aesthetic. I stopped by around 7:30/8 one morning and was surprised that they didn't offer all of the scones that they have listed on their website. However, the iced coffee I got was very tasty. I absolutely love this place! I generally take my food to go, but on occasion I have eaten here because I love the ambience and the staff! The peanut butter energy balls are my go snacks now! I always stop in for these! The waffles, flourless oatmeal pancake and the breakfast crepe are just some of the breakfasts that I enjoy. The sweat potato ricotta salad with chicken, the chicken salad, and the bacon and bleu are some of my lunch favs! Definitely try the cold brew and a dirty chai...they are fantastic! Went this week because they were open on a Monday and we had a wonderful ladies lunch. This place is so good that we were making plans to return before we even ate! The chicken salad, breakfast crepe, and avocado toast were all yummy and we had our own tea, too. All washed down with the most moist chocolate cupcake that I had to grab another to take home.
