Germanos Premium Gelato & Coffee is not just an ice cream spot, it's a full on passport stamp. The place itself is clean, modern, and slick: high ceilings, industrial vibes, marble everywhere, and a gelato case so beautiful it deserves its own Instagram account. You walk in and immediately know this isn't your average scoop and go situation. Now let's talk about the gelato. This is seriously premium ice cream. Like... nothing compares unless you're hopping on a plane to Italy or Argentina. The texture? Perfect. The flavors? Insane and I mean that in the best way possible. Rows and rows of flavors that make decision making a full emotional journey. The moment I saw Dulce de Leche, my eyebrow went up automatically. That's when I met Germán, and suddenly everything made sense. Argentine roots, Italian technique, zero shortcuts. Boom. Cultural alignment achieved. #VamosArgentina And let's clear something up real quick: ice cream is not only for summer. If it's cold outside, that just means the gelato melts slower. Science. Pair it with their coffee and now you're living correctly year round. Also, shoutout to the teenagers behind the counter, seriously top tier service. Super attentive, respectful, and locked in on every detail like they were guarding a family recipe. No rushing, no attitude, just genuine care and good vibes. Proof that great service is alive and well. Bottom line: this is dangerous-level good. You come in for one scoop, leave planning your next visit and questioning every other ice cream you've ever eaten.

I really enjoyed Germano's. The owner is such a gentleman and will patiently describe all the flavors available and make you feel at home. The gelato itself is creamy and delicious. I had the Bailey's and Belgium Chocolate combo and wow the flavors popped! Definitely recommend you pay them a visit. Consistent 5-star rankings can't be wrong!

For several weeks, I've been seeing posts on Facebook and waiting in anticipation for Germano's to finally open. I stopped by today after dinner with my family and was so glad I did! I read somewhere that the building has been vacant for almost 50 years, so it's nice to see a new business opening up in town. The store is pretty spacious with a modern interior and an elevated seating area towards the entrance. Even though there was a bit of a line, it moved pretty quickly. There were so many gelato flavors to choose from, and there were even popsicles, gelato Oreo sandwiches, and a gelato cake inside the case. I ordered a small cup with 2 flavors - Belgium Dark Chocolate and Cookies and Cream. Both flavors were super creamy, rich, and delicious. I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed the Cookies and Cream. I believe the man working the register was an owner and he had an Italian accent so you know it's authentic! I will definitely be returning the next time I am in the mood for a sweet treat.

Germano's gelato is DELICIOUS! They have a lot of different flavors to choose from. I personally loveeee the dark chocolate flavor and the 80% Belgian. The pistachio flavor and peanut butter caramel are delicious too! The gentleman that took care of us was very helpful, he let us try a few flavors. The location is very close to home and they have plenty of space inside for you to sit down and enjoy your ice cream there. 10 out of 10!

Delicious, silky gelato. Lots of flavors to choose from. Little pricy but worth it. Carmel and hazelnut flavors were extra delicious.

We visited today for the Mother's Day Queen's Tea. I called to make a reservation 2 months in advance since they book up so quickly. In general, reservations are recommended as seating is limited, especially on weekends. When you arrive, you are presented with a prix-fix menu. On non-holidays, you usually have a choice between the soup or the salad of the day. You select your pot of tea from over 60 premium tea flavors. Today, I chose the "Paris" special tea, which had notes of vanilla, caramel, and bergamot. For the Mother's Day Queen's Tea, we had the broccoli and cheddar quiche, a pear, goat cheese, candied walnut, mixed green salad, scones, assorted mini sandwiches, and several mini desserts. Every course was fresh and excellent. The caramel scones are one of the best things I have ever eaten. They are served warm with clotted cream and lemon curd. The caramel is so goey and melts in your mouth. We brought some orange juice and prosecco to have mimosas with our tea. They have glassware in the back that you can request when making your reservation. The service is always top-notch. Holly is the best server! She is super sweet and always hardworking. At the entrance, there is a little gift shop with lots of cute vintage items, tea-themed trinkets, and some of the loose lea tea available in small bags. We love coming here and hope to be back again soon. BEWARE: Confirm pricing before booking…read more We had a 4:00 PM reservation on December 7th for 2 adults and 3 children under age 10, booked by phone. At no point during the reservation call, upon arrival, or during the meal were we told that this was a special holiday event priced at $60 per person, with no children's pricing, even for preschool-age kids. No menu or pricing was provided at the table. We only learned of the cost at checkout, which was extremely surprising given the pricing publicly listed elsewhere. We expected to pay $21.95 per child. Imagine our shock to be charged $60 (for a 4 year old who barely even ate anything!) That said, the tea itself was enjoyable, and we really appreciated their ability to accommodate gluten-free and nut allergies, which they handled well. The variety of teas was impressive. Afterward, I emailed the owner to raise these concerns and was told he would look into it, but I never received a follow-up. He said the pricing is on their website and social media but on their website it's buried in the events page and I don't follow their social media. I made a phone call and booked a tea reservation and didn't expect to have to cross reference multiple online sources for accurate pricing. Unfortunately, the lack of transparency and follow through overshadowed the experience and left us with a pour taste for what should have been a lovely holiday treat. Strongly recommend confirming exact price per person and asking specifically about event pricing when booking by phone, especially around holidays.

***4 1/2 stars** I'm…read morenot sure how crazy I am about this place being a few blocks from where I live, but I suppose that's not Mo & Jay's fault. I've been aware of this bakery/pastry establishment for a few years (I think it showed up in this relatively new apartment building on Main Street two or three years ago), but hadn't actually thought to go inside until yesterday morning. I was entrusted with obtaining a dessert for a weekend BBQ, and it occurred to me that this was at least the easiest spot to quickly grab something. The fact that the desserts were extremely good ended up being a pleasant accident/bonus. I brought one of my top tier chums to assist with the purchase. From very brief research, it seemed like the eclairs were the big selling point here. I thought it would also be a little wily on my part to get them because I tend to not enjoy eating food that has stuff in it, and figured I'd be unlikely to do anything too naughty with that. That turned out not to be accurate, but I digress. We got the five for $25 éclair deal, and procured a raspberry, a lemon meringue, a nutella, a pistachio and a cookies & cream. Just as we were about to wrap up, I also impulsively grabbed a cheddar/bacon scone, which was humongous and understandably caught my eye. The eclairs were definitely a hit. My personal favorite was the cookies & cream. The flavor was incredibly on point, and it was almost like a meta ice cream experience. The only issue with that one specifically was that the cream inside was runnier than the other pastries, which made it a little messy. Not a huge deal. The runner-up was probably the raspberry for me. Again, extremely flavorful, almost to a fault - it was overwhelmingly tart, which is obviously kind of a calling card for raspberries but if you're not into that, I'd stay away. The nutella was actually a little on the bland side for me but not bad. The lemon meringue was a big hit for everyone else, but I'm not a huge fan of that flavor to begin with - I don't think that's a mark against this place by any means. In hindsight, we probably wouldn't have gotten the pistachio, but none of us are hardcore pistachio fans. The cream consistency and dough for all of these was very high quality, and understandably a lot of this is going to come down to how you feel about specific flavors. In a final twist later on, I sampled the scone around dinner time and was very pleasantly surprised - the scone was very moist and tasty, and was reminiscent of a Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit, though probably at least twice the size and with actual pieces of bacon in it. Very strong recommend on that front. The service was very good. We had a pleasant female cashier assisting us as my chum was literally squatting on the ground eagerly peering into the display case squealing out flavors to get. Zero issues there, and we were in and out within a few minutes uneventfully. There were also a lot of cakes and other types of pastries, so I expect I'll be returning shortly to obtain their assistance with another BBQ.

I've been about 3 times now and will definitely be going back for more.
