We were given suggestions, clarification on menu items, and we were also never felt at all rushed to make a decision and order. Our orders were brought out to us in a timely manner, and they even came by later to check on us and bus the table some. Our orders were plated nicely and everything looked and tasted great We chose to sit outside, but there is plenty of seating on the inside. The interior is deceptively spacious. There is a long bar with pretzels and other baked treats. The menu is posted clearly behind the bar. The decor was fun and quirky. I enjoyed their chef my songs for "good pretzels for good people (and the other ones too)" Their literal bread and butter is pretzels, and they have a variety to choose from like original, garlic Parmesan, pizza, cinnamon, Italian, everything seasoning, etc etc etc. They also have flights of pretzel knots where you get a chance to try a variety of five. My mother and I had heard so much about this place on social media that when we were at the Gilbert Famers Market one Saturday morning, we had to check it out. We were both hungry and cinnamon sugar lovers so we decided to order the cinnamon sugar pretzel. The woman taking our order was super friendly and helped us when the card reader wouldn't read my mom's chip in her card. We sat down at a table and dug into the pretzel. It was delicious, to say the least. It was thoroughly coated in sugar, but our only gripe was that we wished there was more cinnamon. Even though the entire pretzel was packed in sugar and cinnamon (and not much of it was falling off either), it looked like there were more white sugar particles than cinnamon particles. But oh well, it was still hot, incredibly soft, and packed with flavor. It was gone within a minute or two haha! We've been getting fed this shop through reels and my father so we decided to check it out finally after driving by it for a long time. The atmosphere is super cute and love the look of it. We got to meet the owner and she was super sweet and helped us along our salted knot journey. Loved that everything is made in house and their recipes too. I went with the flight o bites with the beer cheese and yall.... I couldn't get a pic fast enough because it was so good lol. That beer cheese will be the death of me... in a good way! We were just down the street at the Mesa Convention Center for a Scrapbooking Expo and my wife and I took her mom in for a treat after a long day on the convention center floor. Same great vibes in the place as when we were in for a Yelp event recently which introduced us to this great new spot in downtown Mesa. I mentioned to the young girl who helped us the previous time that we loved her dancing to the tunes in the place and she thanked us but seemed a little embarrassed. Having spoken with Maria and Chad, the owners, I knew this was exactly the type of employee they desired so I told her to keep on dancing. Then I jokingly turned to the young man who was cashiering and asked to see his dance moves - and he instantly gave us some Saturday Night Fever moves. We loved it !! There is just something wonderful about the entire place - from the staff, to the decor (Maria's music/concert photography), to the well thought out menu full of deliciousness, to the seating - both indoor and outdoor. We each ordered a pretzel and then we got an Apple Jackson Crisp in memory of the young man who recently lost his battle with cancer. I got the Jalapeno and Cheese, my wife got the Everything, we both went for the Maple Mustard (our favorite dip), and my mother-in-law got the Pizza one with nacho cheese. We all loved our choices and relaxed and ate with no rush at all. Just a fantastic way to hang out and unwind from our day. So glad we found this place through Yelp, and we cannot wait for more visits on our own and with more friends and family. The Salted Knot is helping to revitalize the downtown area. We try pretzels everywhere we go and were so excited to see their social media posts, plus they're in Mesa. We're close! I ordered the pretzel dog and the pepperoni pizza pretzel, I added jalapeños. I finally stopped in yesterday after hearing rave reviews. Hands down, this is the best place to get your pretzel fix! They have some pretty cool music memorabilia on the wall. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Me and my bestie ordered the pizza pretzel with beer cheese, and the cinnamon sugar with sweet cream dipping sauce. Both were incredibly good! Super soft and warm, and the dipping sauces were fantastic. I also love that each pretzel comes with the sauce of your choice, rather than having to pay extra for it. On the hunt for a quick and easy bite this morning, with breakfast on the mind' The Salted Knot popped up and I saw they had a simple breakfast sandwich with choice of sausage or ham served all day for 8 dollars - it fit the bill so my husband and I were each ordered one. The cashier was very friendly and inquired if we wanted any of their dips. They have a lot of the classic offerings and my husband went with beer cheese, what really would have hit the mark for me was if they had a siracha or spicy honey option! I had it as is and shared some of the beer cheese with my husband. We snagged a seat at their couch, though they have ample indoor and outdoor seating with a really fun vibe! The came out after 5 or so minutes, nice and hot. They were very tasty, simple and classic, but the salted pretzel bun was very nice change of pace. I do wish I could have gotten my egg over medium or slightly runny, but understand that's not always an option. My partner loves The Salted Knot! It's a very cozy and cute pretzel-focused cafe with witchy dark academia style decor. Service is kind. They offer vegan options too! There are chairs, benches, and some sofas for seating. You can comfortably fit a group of 4 at a table, but you can squeeze in more for the sofa seating area or potentially push tables together with permission. My partner loves their classic butter & salt pretzel. You can safely choose between savory or sweet style dipping sauces and have them complement it. I tried their pretzel flight o' bites and would say their classic butter & salt pretzel and Italian pretzel were the best. I'm normally a huge garlic and Parmesan lover, but didn't find theirs to wow me enough. I wish there was a bit more garlic and Parmesan on it. I also normally love everything bagels, but did not enjoy it so much as a pretzel. The cinnamon sugar bite was my least favorite. I also would love if they offered a full savory sampler platter or sweet sampler platter too. There's fun mixed sodas offered to drink. They also have alcoholic drinks. Omg! Genuine Jersey/Philly pretzels in Mesa! Seeking Pretzels for Super Bowl for my East Coast cost husband. Drove 25 minutes to Salted Knot on main St in Mesa. A great find. Pretzels made to order while you're in the store were so steamy hot and delicious, several flavors--butter, everything, Italian, garlic, and Cinnamon Sugar with multiple sauces. Beer Cheese my favorite. We ordered their Super Bowl special of 25 pretzel bites and 5 nacho cheese sauces-- and we're pleasantly surprised to find could buy them frozen to bake on Game Day! The downsides -- the pricing is very high about 8$ per pretzel and the menu inflexible. We wanted to substitute some of the nacho cheese for Beer cheese and were told no. It would be a separate charge. And really just wanted to sample the pretzel bites-- but we're again told No, they are only sold in "flights" of 5. Not very customer centric when you are building a clientele. But-- those pretzels and bites are great! The owner and other staff member were very friendly and chatty. We stumbled on The Salted Knot while walking around downtown Mesa this morning. The pretzels were amazing and made for a perfect snack (I got the bacon & cheddar pretzel and my wife went with the classic butter & salt, and we both got beer cheese), and there are a ton of customizations that can be made. We also got specialty drinks, and the Piña Colada was awesome (my wife got the blue one whose name escapes us, but it was equally stellar). The staff was super friendly, and we ended up chatting with Maria, the owner, a bit. She curated the music playlist there too, and I was hooked immediately (where else can you hear Superdrag in the wild?). My wife and I are fans for life now. The inside of this place is really nice and unique. we really liked the décor, wall art, and the color scheme all goes well beautifully. We walked up to the counter and we were quickly asked if we were ready to order. We had no idea what we wanted since it was our first time in and there was a wide variety of flavors to pick from. We looked over the flavors and decided on one cheesy jalapeno knot, one peperoni pizza knot, and one bratwurst / hotdog thing with their special mustard on the side, and a fountain drink. Grand total was about $45 We sat outside and not too long after a friendly gentleman dropped off our food. We quickly noticed that the knots were lukewarm and not hot. The only item we received that was hot was the bratwurst. The cheese on the jalapeño knot had barely melted and the inside was far from hot. The pepperoni knot was our favorite and it tasted really good. We ended up just finishing the bratwurst and took the other two knots home and popped them in the air fryer. I love a good pretzel and dip from Auntie Annes and Wetzel Pretzels so after seeing this place pop up on Instagram I knew I had to try it. Let me start off by saying these were hands down the best pretzels I've ever tasted, not even comparable to the chain pretzel joints! I went with the basic butter and salt bites with a beer cheese dip and the sweet bites which are covered in cinnamon and sugar! I was obsessed and will be back! The flavors were perfect, not greasy, and surprisingly light. I will say I think the prices are high but it was high quality food, so I can't compain.
