Lobster roll-delicious
Lyna M.

What a beautiful restaurant! First time here and been wanting to try the one in Nashville but my friend lived closer to this one. They had the Après winter theme set up and it was really nice. And they even had a photobooth area which I didn't partake but wish I did. I got the lobster bisque and the lobster roll with fries and both was delicious. The server and the staff was great and attentive. Overall our experience here was excellent. The food and atmosphere. I definitely have to come back for their cocktails!

The inside of the restaurant.

The Rutledge has an upscale vibe, delicious cocktails, and decent food. My husband and I recently dined here during a day date. I loved the decor and vibe of the restaurant. It had the upscale vibe I like for time away from my kids. It was a very open restaurant. The service was efficient, but impersonal. It lacked the warm and welcoming hospitality you'd expect at a more upscale spot. I started with the Sapphire cocktail. This was my favorite part of my meal. It was delicious and a nice balance of flavors. I love little details like nice glassware. I loved the etched cocktail glasses. I ordered the 8 ounce Filet and a side of Brussels Sprouts. Both items are listed as a la carte with the steak described as having a cognac caramelized onion butter on top. What arrived was confusing. The side I had planned to share with my husband was under my steak and the plate was some sort of saucy stacked mess. I don't like A1 and the sauce reminded me of that. I didn't want to complain while trying to enjoy kid free time with my husband, but this was utterly disappointing. The steak was okay, not good enough to order again. I did a poll on my instagram page and 100% said they'd be surprised to receive this mess when ordering an a la carte steak. Other photos on Yelp don't look like this either. My husband enjoyed his Braised Short Rib. The short rib was tender. The mashed potatoes and carrots were okay. We finished off the meal with Limoncello and Mascarpone Cake. This was a lighter dessert. It wasn't super flavorful or worthy of ordering again. I'd try this spot again, but more for the ambiance and cocktails. For food I'd pass on steak and try something else.

I had to think about this compared to other restaurants where I'm going to spend nearly $200 for a fairly straightforward meal of a side salad, burger, sushi, dessert and drinks. The service was good, although he was a bit pushy trying to encourage some members of our party to buy an overpriced bottle of wine that would only be a $2/glass savings. The cocktails were terribly overpriced and quite small. $20 for a small-ish lemon drop martini. $8 for a beer, so nothing crazy there. Their tap system doesn't work. A plain, but thick and substantial burger was good at $22. The surf and turf sushi tasted nothing like surf and turf, but it was still good and nicely presented. I didn't taste lobster and there seemed to be some shaved filet on top. The side Caesar was good. Desserts were the high point. The apple cobbler was enough to feed 6 people. It's a nice place, modern interior, but was nearly empty. Perhaps 4 other tables at 6:00 pm on a Sunday night. So the moral of the story, is that at the price point, this is a 2.5 place. What's odd is that the ownership must be so pretentious and counting on the Williamson County location, that there is not a single response to an inordinate number of low scoring reviews, mostly around price and food quality for that level. I didn't hate it, I certainly didn't love it, it was just weird for the price and not worthy of a return visit with so many other choices.

Over all this restaurant was underwhelming. The food was bland and lacked flavor. The service was just ok. However, the chopped salad tasted really good. I was excited to see that they had lobster mac and cheese on the menu, but was extremely disappointed. There was alot of lobster in the Mac and cheese but the flavor just wasn't there. I am not one to add salt and pepper to my food but I had to doctor it up. My cocktail was good. The Rutledge does give an upscale vibe but their prices are reasonable.

A busy Friday night in Cool Springs and we walked into the Rutledge and got seated in seconds. Several tables still open at 6:00, ok there is a reason. Started off with drinks, the Old Fashioned was ok, the ice was clear! For dinner I ordered a Lobster Roll, Lobster Mac & Cheese and a skillet corn bread. The Lobster roll was a little dry and was bland not much flavor, needed some melted butter, the Lobster Mac was creamy and hot but again lacked a cheesy flavor. Service was fine, but the music was a little loud. Probably will not eat here again.

Shishito peppers

Meh. Truly not impressed with this place. Three stars to me means "it was alright, but I wouldn't spend my hard earned money here again." It wasn't too busy, but the service was slow. As far as the food goes: Shishito peppers: incredibly overcooked and mushy. Great flavor, though. Shrimp pasta: I could/have made something way better at home. In my opinion, it was an oily, bland mess. Half chicken: my husband liked it, but again, wouldn't pay for it again. For the price, we expected to be wowed. We're truly not picky people, but this was disappointing for a pricier date night. I'll end my review with this: don't avoid a restaurant based on one person's preference! You may have a totally different experience than me. I do appreciate consistency, though. :)

We were disappointed. Very blah food. No taste. Deviled eggs were dry. Service was good but though.

If you're looking for a game, there are plenty of screens here to watch it on. Want a late night? It's the perfect vibe. There's something fun happening every day of the week with a variety of specials (and happy hour). The food is good and the beer is always flowing! But ultimately what keeps me coming back is the people. The service here is top tier. No other bar has made me feel as safe or as welcome as the servers here. This place is a rare gem specifically because of them. Tony's wants to you "meet your friends here," and that's exactly what I've done. If you're looking for an amazing, local bar, Tony's is the place to be.

The waitress did not write my order down. She kept it in her head, I guess. My burger came with mayo which overwhelmed the burger. All seating is high top tables. Literally, just a sports bar with the attraction of young waitresses showing their midriff. The other thing I noticed is several of the waitresses sat down at a couple of tables with friends eating there. There were definitely two tables that seemed to know all the waitresses, and those on duty waitresses constantly visited with their friends all through our dinner. Find a better burger place. Don't waste your time here.

It was by far the winner--super light, fluffy, and perfectly done. Honestly one of the best pretzels I've had. Definitely worth ordering when you go! Ordered a glass of wine and a pizza. Ate a few slices - food tasted fine - and got a box. I'm sitting there playing a game on my phone and suddenly the largest cockroach I've ever seen in my life comes walking across the bar where I'm sitting. I silently panic and jump from my seat. Randomly the manager happened to be right in front of me (she was in the bar pit) and saw me freak out and then she smooshed the roach. The people next to me were mortified, I was so disgusted I didn't know what to do but also, I didn't want a bunch of attention on me so I stayed quiet. The manager who smooshed the roach just walked away, didn't say a word to me. No one came and offered to clean the bar top where I was sitting, nothing... she said nothing. Eventually, I ask for my check and the same manager came and said "we took care of your pizza" and that was it. So I paid my bill and left The bartenders were mortified and one came up to me after and offered her apology. I was shocked by the lack of care and professionalism by the manager and I will never be back

We started off with the Mini Donuts with dipping sauces, and they were a huge hit! Unfortunately, I was off my game and forgot to take pictures of some of the appetizers before they disappeared. We also ordered the Spinach Dip with chips, and a definite must have, the Deviled Eggs with Candy Bacon. Wow... those were sooo good! For the entrees, I went with the Eggs Benedict with home fries, and it was perfection. Others at the table ordered the Chicken Fingers and Fries, great comfort food with amazing flavor. The fries are the thin-cut style, which makes them extra good. The granddaughters split a hamburger and absolutely loved it. The service is always great here, but this visit had a special touch. The granddaughters wanted a carrot to feed to their stuffed bunny, and the waitress actually brought one out for them! Little things like that make a big impression. Overall, a great brunch, great service, and a great experience. We'll definitely be back!

Loud from the crowd, but still fine for conversation, and the tables/booths were spread enough to provide decent privacy. Made a note that the bar looked very attractive and appealing. Limited draft selection, though the by the glass wine was about the best list I've ever seen in a restaurant, and quite reasonable on pricing. Food comes out fast. Wait people are efficient and helpful. Started with a split salad. We ordered the Little Gem but actually received the Caesar. Not a big deal, though it was badly over dressed, so whatever salad we order (or whatever we're served) in the future, it'll be dressing on the side. After having a tough time deciding what to order on our first visit, I went with the tuna. The tuna slices were nicely rare though the dish was very bland. A pop of pickled ginger on the side, but some wasabi, or even a hit of salt, would have helped a lot, and the dipping sauce was off and bland, could have really used some more soy sauce. Wife got the crab cakes. The cakes were really nice jumbo lumps, very good quality, and the shoestring fries delightful (though I might order them well done next time for a bit of extra crunch). We'll be back and will enjoy exploring the menu further. There's clearly 5 star potential here, we just need to learn the best dishes to order.
