I think about this bar and their atmosphere weekly!! The staff are SO friendly, and the food is so much better than I ever expected from "bar food". There's live music and a DJ throughout the afternoon/evening hours, but the true star of the show is getting there sometime between 2-7 for their happy hour! Fun place. Lots of action and best TV selection in all of Brentwood. Went to five different sports bars in the area and none of them had the BigTen channel. Was talking with a guy at Jefferson's who was perfectly dressed in a Nashville Predators jersey (Forsberg I might add - good taste in players) and he shared that Tin Roof 2 had the best selection of channels. Boom, we were out the door and high railing down 65 South. Great sports bar with plenty of big TVs. Food was ok. Lots of patrons having fun. We went in to try the food since we heard they have music on weekends. We were disappointed in the quality. We had the queso and chips. The queso seemed like it was canned and had no real flavor. This was my first Tennessee bar experience and it set the "bar" real high! In such a random, business looking location, this bar will shock you with vibrant color and adolescent excitement the second you walk in the door! When my friends and I walked in there was awesome music playing, live Bingo being called out, and many individual crowds bursting out with laughter. The song that comes to mind in explaining the awesome environment of this bar would be "I Love This Bar" by Toby Keith. You could tell all who enter love this bar! We got up to the counter and were greeted immediately despite the somewhat larger sized crowd. The menu was full of unique, funny, exciting drink names but of course the first to catch my attention was the Californication! Anything with California in the name plus pineapple and tequila is my kind of drink, and it lived up the the expectation. In fact, all the drinks ordered that night did! Super fruity, exotic, and boozy are the best way to describe them. With our drinks we headed to the back patio to play the life sized Jenga, Connect Four, ping pong, and darts games. There was a nice crowd outside but so much space that everyone felt comfortable doing their thing. The games were such a fun surprise and missing no pieces which was a plus! With live bingo, life size outdoor games, and sports on the TVs there was really something for everyone at this bar. Only complaint I'd heard amongst another group was that they got rid of the Beer Pong table.. This is second time I have been here. The first time was after my company's 2018 Christmas party. They had karaoke and vibe was amazing. Anyways, today (July 26th 2019, Friday) I came here with my colleagues and sat at the bar. The reason I mentioned the date is because, I didn't get our waitress/bartender's name. If the manager ever sees this post, I just want you to know that she took good care of us (8 people). They had plenty of parking too. Now, coming to the most important part.... Food. I had chicken avocado sandwich with fries on the side and, I got a long island ice tea because it was a Friday. It cost me $21 but, I think it was totally worth it. I was visiting my friend in Spring Hill for the week and we decided to check out some local bars instead of driving all the way to Nashville on a rainy night. I'm so happy we went to the Tin Roof!!!! The locals were all SO NICE AND AWESOME and the bartenders we had, James & Whitney Turner are the BEST in all of Tennessee!! Ask James for the Hurricane Eddy! It was DELICIOUS. We were chatting with the bartenders & locals all night long. The vibes are awesome here! They have an indoor and outdoor bar with cool colorful murals on the walls. The food is usually pretty good but if you are drinking alcohol the servers seem to ignore you. The last two times I've visited the cool springs location the service was very slow. In the time we are in now with the pandemic I understand that restaurants may struggle with staffing and may be short on servers. Last week when we visited it was disappointing to see the bar and bar top tables FULL with no social distancing and now masks worm by the staff. read more
