I was feeling afraid. But little did I know, my closest friends were made in that studio. I felt happy and alive again. I was doing what I loved and I have never felt so much joy. The worst part about the show, was having it end. When I wasn't at Act Too, I felt numb and dull. But when I get in that studio I feel so comfortable and safe. My amazing teachers at Act Too have taught me so much and I have learned a lot about theatre and performing. They criticize me to help me get even better at what I love doing most. Some people may say they have the best mentors and teachers, but they haven't met them yet. Act Too has helped me with my vocals, acting, dancing, and performing abilities so quickly. I feel more comfortable when I am there and they have taught me some important lessons. I will be with them until I am no longer of age. Thank you Act Too Players for helping get back to what I love. As others have mentioned the instructors are often yelling and show lack of care for young performers/their skills/feelings (they don't even bother learning kids' names and rather address them by the roles they are playing). Forget supportive and understanding environment- not here! The audition process is a joke and is not based on kids abilities. If your kid is looking to learn new skills/become more confident that's not a place for you either! Very disappointing experience overall!

We came to watch a Mambo show and loved that they made a dancing space. It was hard to hear the singer with the sound system from instruments. They have a small concession stand, however wish they had wine and beer for sale for our event. Probably would have had more dancers on the dance floor. We are constantly amazed at what they can do with the very small space! Kudos to the Stage and props folks! There are no reserved seats but every seat is close to the stage. A line usually forms out front ahead of time and part of the fun is meeting your fellow theater patrons. Every production we have seen has been first rate. They don't shy away from any genres either, musicals, comedies, drama, you name it! The talent that is active in this area is outstanding. After each performance, there is also an opportunity to meet, greet and thank the cast members out front of the theater. Last weekend, we were able to experience Guys and Dolls, a classic musical theater production and they did an incredible job bringing it to the "small stage". Well acted, well performed, the music was spot on and a big shoutout to the Costumer - those "period" clothes were perfect, right down to the broaches and earrings worn by the ladies. If you want to take in a show, you need to contact them early. Given the small space in the theater and the large number of season ticket holders, there aren't usually many available seats. Even better, become a season ticket holder (like we did!) and you won't regret it!

Second, Hillary Duff (raised on Disney & Rock n Roll lol). This time I parked, and what a NIGHTMARE!! It took us 1.5 HOURS to get out of the parking lot. I live 15 minutes from the venue. Got into my car at 10:40 and didn't get home until 12:30, if that tells you about the control they have on their parking. $26 high noons and then want you to tip - absolute rip off. There are other bands I want to see here but I will look for other venues first. I'm not sure if I will return or not. It's almost quicker and easier to just go to Nashville.

The workshop was funny, professional, easy to understand and participate in and we learned stuff!! We liked it so much we plan to go see their next show this coming Monday...and to look into signing up for classes! I highly recommend checking this out!

It is refreshing to have a studio where learning how to dance is emphasized as opposed to just…read morelearning a dance over and over to compete. Every child's progress and development is fostered. Your dancer will be inspired to do his/her personal best. All of the classes are considered important for any level a child is dancing at, and all dancers, whether on the company or not, receive the same training. We had noticed before that if you are in "recital classes" at many places that you learn very little and can only achieve significant training if you are on their company. Ballet and technique are emphasized. This studio has drop in classes as well. My daughter has progressed significantly in the past year, and she is doing things she would not have had the opportunity to do before. My son also takes some classes here to compliment his athletic endeavors and lay the foundation for dance for whatever he may choose to do in the future. Hard work, discipline and amazing teachers have made both of them more successful. Whether you are on the company or not, all are invited to attend the conventions in which we participate. The company does participate in competitions in order to have the opportunity to perform, but they are not mandatory. They also will work with individuals to clean up dances they may be doing elsewhere or to enhance their training. I am thankful that this studio opened and that we had the opportunity to be here.
