I was really excited about this place because the idea of paintball zombies sounded really cool. I'm not a huge fan of scary stuff, but wanted to try. We ordered tickets online. I HIGHLY recommend doing this. The ticket line was INSANE. Fortunately, we got to skip it. Much like other people, we waited about 2.5 hours in line for the hayride. It was exhausting. The ride was pretty cool, but it wasn't worth that insanely long line. By the time we got off the ride (around 9:30pm) it had shortened, but was still long. There was NO LINE for the haunted woods which was good. The woods were really cool. There wasn't much theme to it, but it was still pretty cool. Not too scary. Please note- BE CAREFUL. This place is NOT wheelchair accessible. There are mild uphill moments on the woods, narrow areas, stairs, and lots of places you could accidentally trip. I think you would really only need to do the paintball once and I wish they disnt charge $10 for a second round of ammo, but overall it was really entertaining and it wasn't scary at all! Okay, lemme break it down. I read so many horrible reviews that I had buyer's remorse immediately after purchasing the tickets. We went the Friday before Halloween and arrived at 7:30. It was not that busy. You could walk right up and get concessions. There was no wait for the port-a-potty's (that's the one down-side....having to use port-a-potty's, but they were clean and smelled as good as one can (lots of deodorizer scent). It is NOT worth your time to go if you don't buy the "Fast Slash Pass" things for the Zombie Paintball and Haunted Hillbilly Forrest. (Unless you are a broke teenager, who is mainly there to hang out with your friends and you don't mind spending hours in line.) With the "Slash Passes," our party had barely any wait times for either attraction. Also, you must buy the extra paintballs. Bring cash to buy them on the ride or buy them online with your ticket. Just do that, don't question if you should or not. You will run out of paintballs otherwise. Most of the zombie paintball ride is shooting at targets, as opposed to the zombie actors. Everyone in our group still had a lot of fun doing it though. You just need to know that it's not a ton of actors crawling out of the woods like, "The Walking Dead." There are some, but that's not most of the shooting "action." The area of Millers Thrillers isn't that big, but they have constant attractions going on (fire twirlers, trampoline acrobatics, a Pirate show with tight rope actors that the kids will enjoy.) There's kind of a circus-vibe to the place. There are people dressed up in scary masks/costumes that walk around and you can take pictures with them. There was a man on stilts who walked around and juggled and had jokes and he was really funny. Like other's mentioned, the walk through the Hillbilly Forrest is not a nice, paved path. Literally, wear shoes to hike and I'd even recommend bringing a little flashlight just so you can see where you are walking. Lots of tripping can happen. My husband hurt his foot missing a step down. Everyone agreed there's some jump scares but it's not horrifying. You aren't going to have nightmares because of it. Again, everyone had fun, except for the terrain was a little rough to walk. I don't know, I guess if you had to drive 3 hours and then wait in line 3 hours for an attraction it would be the pits. But if you shell out the extra cash for the Slash Passes (because barely anyone buys them so it's definitely worth it), if you buy the extra paint balls, and you enjoy the side-shows for what they are (a good, silly time that kids will like), we honestly had a great night. I like to complain and write reviews when I'm displeased, but I was so happily surprised with Miller's Thrillers that I needed to write a review. Maybe going on a Friday night also helped, and we got there before the crowds of teens really started to roll in. Every person there was respectful and behaved, and all the staff were very courteous. This place is the actual worst. There are so many halloween attractions in Nashville, it is not worth driving 45 minutes to wait for this trash. I am writing this review after standing in line for over 3 hours for the haunted hayride. I've watched Beetlejuice twice and have seen the same 2 fire twirlers perform 3 times. I spoke with people in the "slash pass" line next to me who only waited 45 minutes (and are still waiting). This place is a big freaking scam for the owner to sell as many tickets as possible not caring how long people wait in lines or if the place will close before they get to use the full 3 attractions included with their ticket. Similar to the other recent one star reviews, we purchased the zombie paintball combo pass with the Haunted Woods attraction for Saturday 10/17. WE WAITED IN LINE FOR THREE HOURS. THREE HOURS! This was after purchasing the tickets ahead of time. There's also a service fee I believe it was, for $8.75 so no ticket was the price it stated. Just when we thought we had reached the front of the line, it kept going. Twists and turns and then more lines after that. Very clever to make the lines in not one direction as to confuse the guest on where they actually are standing in line, in terms of waiting. We were freezing the whole time (it's outside which is expected but I've been to other places where they place heaters in certain parts of the line) and was just miserable. Believe the other reviews on being so exhausted that when you get to the front of the line, you are just ready to get the attraction over with. Good thing it only lasted about 10 minutes (insert eye roll here). The zombie paintball attraction was anything but impressive. You are given about 15 paintballs and the whole time on the ride, they are trying to upsell you to buy more paintballs. No thanks. There was a bunch of targets set up and about 4 actual "zombies" we encountered. We didn't even have time to do the Haunted Woods as it was almost 11:00pm by the time we finished the lame zombie ride. This place is money hungry and I can see why they say NO REFUNDS. My family and I have always wanted to try this place for the thriller of paintball shooting zombies. If that didn't sound awesome enough, well in reality your shooting about 8-10 scare actor zombies to just wait in line for 2-3 hours. Not worth the wait and also just a money scam. Our hayride unfortunately had issues with the air tanks first 5 mins of our drive and had to return back for maintenance. Waited another 15-20 on the ride for repair. They were accommodating for the issue with one extra tank full of paintballs, but then mid ride they asked to those who ran out of ammo. To purchase for $10, ridiculous they could've gave all of us at least 2-3 full ammo tanks for free or my freaking refund of this ridiculous place. This place is ran by kids and teens so it's poorly run. They should be more adults running this place and know what there doing. The area is pretty small with just 2 attractions ( paintball hayride & haunted woods), some performers, shows & two small concession stands next too each other who serve funnel cakes, hotdogs , nachos, chili, soft drinks and water. Snack prices are reasonable so don't come expecting to have a whole meal here, just snacks. Lastly, the haunted woods experience is what gave it the 2 two stars because everything else just sucks. Again waited about 45 mins for this one I counted literally 65 people ahead of us and for them to take that long or have us waiting is ridiculous. The haunted is themed nicely in the woods, I believe your walk is about 1-2 miles long into the woods with hills, steps, bridges, turns and twist. So definitely not wheel chair accessible. Even I tripped a couple times from the amount of steps and debris that was on the trail so be cautious. Overall my experience was ok , was it worth $50 each person to experience both attractions?? They barely give you any paintballs, there is not that many zombies to shoot and the ending of it is zombie dancing which made NO sense to us at all. So. This place is mega! There were people everywhere! Very packed! Thank goodness we got the slash pass. Which got us to through lines 3 times a lot faster than waiting. Even the entrance line was so long! We bought the tickets online in advance and went right up to the front. That was line 1. Then came the haunted woods. Again fast pass got us in so much quicker! So here's the annoying part. All the kids and teenagers everywhere who...well let's just say they are kids. There was a group of 4 boys behind us for the first 15 minutes of the woods walk. They had to be about 10 years old. No supervision. Not one adult there for them. They kept yelling "rape" "he touched me".."he touched my privates" these kids were bad. Not sure how they got in without supervision. You can see the actors everywhere so they are not too scary. But the woods part and decor is amazing. We eventually stopped and let the kids pass us. As did the group in front of us. Then we got stuck with teenage girls behind us who spoke in rap lyrics to each their and just kept talking about smoking weed. But besides that it was a cool experience. Plan to stay about 2 hours at LEAST. There are bands and entertainment all around. Third line was for the zombie paintball. That was cool. Used past pass again. Waited about 15-20 minutes not too bad. It was super cool. Afterward paid an extra $10 each to do a monster truck ride. Wow! This place rocks! Yes the lines are long so definitely long so invest in a slash pass if you don't want to wait for the zombie shooting. If you don't you will have to wait over an hour for a 15 min ride. The zombie shooting ride was good. The staff make the whole experience very fun. Just don't shoot all your load too quickly or you else you will be sitting on rest of ride watching others shoot. They will Offer for more ammo for 10 dollar. I don't know why the other review said he felt bad for zombie actors. They are well padded and are great at acting like they are getting shot. On to the haunted woods which is the main attraction. The line moves fast here. Overall, I was very impressed with the setup. They do an excellent job at creating the right combination of haunting and jumping scares. The actors do an amazing job of scaring the crap out of you and also making it fun at the same time. There are some section that are just down right terrifying (if you are scared of clowns like me). There is an entire clown section that will expose all your childhood fears. After waiting a hour and half to shoot some zombies In the cold, I was getting pretty crabby. Long lines you say??? Just buy your ticket online and avoid the ticket line but PRINT off your ticket. I forgot to print off my ticket and the owners still took care of my group! This was my 1st EVER haunted woods thing & boy was I disappointed. My husband & I got there around 7, so the wait time for the haunted woods was not bad at all. 1. Yes, long lines: Lines were long. Very true. But you can overcome them. here's how: - 1st buy your tickets online and print them out. This saves you btwn 30-60 mins waiting in the ticket line. Also, feel free to purchase the Slas Pass, which will also save you another 30-45 mins in the ride line later. -2nd arrive either super early or near closing. Not prime time hours. Thats when ride lines are long. -3rd enjoy actually talking to your friends while you wait in line. There is plenty of cool creepy stuff going on around while you wait (fire hula hoop dancers, jugglers, music, scary fake monsters, etc.). Make the most of it! 2. Zombie Paintball is a great idea! It wasnt very scary, just more fun aiming and blasting at the guys hiding in the fields. More silly than scary, and definitely a unique experience! 3. Haunted Woods was AWESOME! Its self-guided, so you walk through the woods and random buildings and mazes at your own pace. Much creepier that way. Also, it is soooo long! This attraction took me over 20 mins to finally reach the end! By far, the longest and best haunted attraction I've done. Creepy 3d glasses clown maze! High quality, life like (but fake) dead bodies, plenty of costumed creepers lurking around the corners ready to pounce! Big scary Saquatch thing! The entire Miller's Thrillers experience was a joke. We arrived around 8pm to find a huge ticket line. We figured it must be good so we waited about 30 minutes to get our tickets. They were selling "Slash Passes" that allow you to skip the majority of the line so we all did that. Once inside, there were about three port-o-potties and absolutely no lighting. We saw a huge line and figured that was the regular line. NOPE. That was the slash pass line. Everyone had the same idea. After waiting 3 HOURS (I cant believe we did that) we finally got to shoot zombies for ten minutes at 11pm. That part was a blast. Moral of the Story - These people have no idea how to run events. The staff didn't know what to do. They were overselling tickets. They had to turn people away. There was no crowd control. There was no line control. If you are going to advertise an event this big, at least attempt to be prepared for it. I will not be returning. read more

This place is absolutely one of the biggest scams I have ever seen, the tickets are very expensive when you consider that you're only getting two attractions and both take about 10 to 15 minutes to actually make your way through. If you think that the reviews about the lines are exaggerated you would be wrong, you will be standing in the lines for at least 3 hours each attraction and it is a tight fit for the lines, you are bumper to bumper with the people in front and behind you. It is also very cold so you will be freezing miserable and tired by the time you even get to the front of the line. There is also no regulation on the age of kids who need to be supervised while there so you will be surrounded by rowdy unsupervised middle and high schoolers. Anything else this park offers will be extra money and is also not worth the wait. The google reviews have been replied to by the company with the same pre written response about it being the busiest night they've ever had and that they are working to fix it, they have been using that same pre written message the past two years. I myself am a scare actor who works in haunted houses and the only scare actors I ended up seeing were annoying and got way too close to people. Miller's Thrillers seems to have out grown itself. You stand in line for nearly 2 hours for each attraction (haunted woods and zombie paintball). The haunted woods was well done and takes about 30 minutes to go through. The zombie paintball was fun. After waiting in line for an hour and 45 minutes, our tractor wouldn't start. Finally, it started, only to break down again at the start of the zombie trail. Our ride took 3 times longer than it should have. I'm sure that with less people, Miller's Thrillers would be more worth my time and money. We were there for 4 hours and spent most of the time in line. After standing in line 3 hours, we did paintball - never made it to the haunted house. We had to leave at 11:00 so we'll have to make another trip out here with our wristbands to do the haunted house. ... What I MOSTLY want to convey is that the paintball experience is a depressing experience. It's not what I expected. You shoot at real people who are stumbling around blindly in the middle of the night, freezing their butts off. Little kids are laughing and pointing guns at these real people. It was like the twilight zone. I hope these people love their jobs and receive a big % of the big money I dished out tonight. It was exploitative, cruel and weird. I hear that the proceeds go to the police and fire stations- that's good news, so I've raised my review score. Plus, the haunted house is a good one. Our family had a great time there this last weekend!! Fun for everyone (10 years old & over).

Millers' Thrillers really outdid themselves this year with the Haunted woods. There are always complaints about the lines but we were luck with Halloween on a Monday this year and an investment in the slash pass and we went to the line and started in less than ten minutes. Part of the reason for the lines is that they try and keep the groups small. This enhances your experience but of course your wait as well. That said the woods are just top notch quality this is our 5th year going after a two year break (spent time in Orlando). Since our 2013 visit tons of little details now add to the experience nothing is left without at least some decoration. It is dark and not well lit and the paths can be somewhat hard to follow. All this adds to a general sense of unease and dread as you walk. I was usually in front and was just as scared about getting us lost as something jumping at me. The scares are not every second but rather timed to allow tension to build. You will traverse a bridge or a tight enclosed space expecting something to jump at you and nothing does...but then as you get into a clear well lit area and think you are just heading to the next stage people jump out of the ground. This year they had three sections that combine indoor and outdoor scares alternating between claustrophobic spaces and wide open woods with things coming at you from above below and the sides. The woods part offers nice views, lots of details and confusing paths. A hillbilly village ramps up some of the blood and gore scares and offers lots of enclosed spaces including some areas where you practically crawl and some actors interacting with you. Finally a 3D clown fun world with an impressive maze (that we legitimately got lost in) black light 3D artwork and a huge animatronic surprise all experienced with clowns chasing you. The paths are very cleverly done but can be confusing, fortunately if you start heading the wrong way there is usually someone there to helpfully point you in the right direction...with a chainsaw. We took about 40 minutes to get through with our group of 4. I really liked that at one point an actor demanded to know our names while chasing us through a bridge and small house. One of our group shouted her friend's name back at them and later in the very large 3D clown fun house every clown was screaming and chanting her name. Touches like these really add to the experience. As mentioned they invested in animatronics that are pretty well done for middle Tennessee and used creatively to block off paths and force you to change direction they also created a fog room where you literally cannot see. I've never experienced that at a haunted house before so really appreciated it. I've been to Halloween horror nights in Bush gardens the past two years and I will take this experience every time. Yes the lines can be frightful but that's at almost any quality attraction. Go to Orlando and you are lucky to get through 3 of the 12 or so houses in an entire night. Each one of those is less than 8 minutes long and you will be going through with dozens of other people setting off scares and no time to enjoy the experience. This is all after waiting hours to get in to each individual house. Last time we left Orlando un-scared and exhausted. What we have here in Tennessee is far superior and we will be back next year, hoping they ramp it up even more. read more

As a loyal fan of almost anything haunted/scary/gory/Halloween-esque, I was pretty excited to check out this Zombie Paintball Hayride that so many people were chattering about. Everyone has 'been there, done that' with the usual haunted houses and moderately (at best) scary hayrides, all equipped with a Jason look-a-like chasing after the trailer and attempting to cut off your legs with a fake chainsaw. Yeah, it's creepy....and sometimes they really get a scream or two out of you, but....we want more! The concept of throwing in paintball guns and "real zombies" to shoot at is genius - and a great way to convince those less brave to join in on the fun. The layout of Millers Thrillers is overall pretty neat. Quite a hike from Antioch, it's out in the sticks of Columbia (right outside of Spring Hill) on some HUGE lot of farmland. Once you park and make your way up to the ticket shack, which could take 30-45 minutes at least if you're not there early, you choose which attraction you'd like to go to (haunted woods, paintball hayride, or both) and get your wristbands. You are then released into the 'Entertainment Zone', complete with a bonfire, stage, and the White Collar Sideshow Act....which could easily be compared to a fairly cheesy knockoff of a Marilyn Manson show. They had the creep factor going on, that's for sure...but at least Manson has some great songs. The singer of White Collar seemed to just be spouting off a series of angry phrases and beating a large drum, while somewhat deranged and very random pics flashed on the projector screen behind them. Adequate enough for a haunted attraction though, I suppose. Definitely some disapproving moms in the audience. The line for the paintball hayride was unbelievably long. Yes, all haunted houses have long lines, I know...but this just so happened to be on quite possibly the coldest night so far, and it's only going to get worse. 90+ minutes in line, in what felt like 20 degree weather, really has a way of taking the wind out of your sails...and boosting your expectation level of the ride 10-fold. You do have the option to pay an extra $5 for a slashpass, which allows hayride-goers to go in a separate VIP line that cuts in front of everyone else. Only $5 is not bad at all, but it seems unnecessary when you're already paying $20 per person just for the ride. Well, IT'S NOT. Take my advice and pay that extra cash. You'll spend about half the time in line AND be a lot less miserable than all of the envious non-VIP folk that are glaring at you as you whiz by them. Needless to say, when our little group finally made it to the front of the line, we were MORE than ready to shake off the icicles and get back into zombie-shootin' mode. They separated those of us who were next into 2 teams, Black Ops and Code Red, and walked us down to their 'war zone bunker'. Each team lines up for a quick group photo, grabs their container of paintballs, and loads up onto the hayride. This part was all really exciting....they did a great job with all of the little details and getting everyone pumped for what was to come. Then, the hayride takes off. Come across the first few wandering zombies...pop pop pop....that was fun! Then a few more....one here....two there. Everyone on your side is, of course, shooting at the same zombies, so they go down quickly. Then a few more. And then it's done. Over in about 10 minutes! You could say it was a bit disappointing...there were barely any zombies to shoot, and it seemed like it was over when it was just getting started. Worth the wait and the money? Not really. Was it an experience? Sure. Our pre-teen kids enjoyed it (but still thought it was a bit lame like we did), and they will surely talk about it to their friends at school all week long. Conclusion: Had we known all of the details, we wouldn't have wasted the time or the money. Cool concept for sure, but mediocre execution. Load up that farmland with more zombies, and you'd have yourself a much more exciting attraction, Millers Thrillers. I mean, how hard can it be to find a bunch of college kids willing to play dress up and scare people for fun? read more

This was the BEST haunted woods I've ever been to. They really outdid themselves with the intricate details and unique atmosphere. I was very impressed that they left no stone untouched. I would suggest wearing tennis shoes or boots because it's a lot of hiking, but it added to the excitement. I would forgo the zombie shootout unless you have young children. There's a Zombie Paintball Hayride (don't miss it), the Haunted Woods, entertainment while you wait in line, a bonfire, a concession stand .. all of this stuff is worth making the drive. Then there's the added bonus of the family that runs this shindig working alongside some amazing, friendly staff, entertainers, and zombies, looking for ways to make your experience better. Millers Thrillers was pretty good. It had its own little things that made it different from other haunted attractions. One thing I did not like, at all, one of the actors in the beginning said something about how trump would make the oceans great again. (He was a pirate on a boat.) Very unprofessional. I paid money to come and have someone's political view thrown at me? No thank you. I don't think I'll come again if he'll be saying such nonsense. The environment was okay when waiting in line. We were kind of pushed off to the side. Music was playing and it wasn't the BEST. Nashville nightmare always has actors/actresses walking around scaring people and what not, Millers Thrillers didn't on the other hand. Horrible! Waste of money ($40-$60 per person) and a hour drive each way. The effects are a joke. The staff is rude and simple-minded. They yell non-stop and joke throughout the paint ball ride - completely removing any chance of a "spooky" ambiance. The rotund staff is completely "Hicksville, USA." Zero safety set up. One of us tripped on an unmarked stair step in the complete dark and smashed and blooded both shins and knees. The 400 pound staff lady at the booth told us," well you saw most of it before you fell - so no revisits, refunds or bandaids." This place is a lawsuit in the making.
