We always have wonderful day when we visit Lucky Ladd Farms. We are strongly considering purchasing the family pass. It is so much fun to feed the animals and have the grandkids run around and play on the slides, the jump pad, and all the different activities and games they can enjoy. There are numerous concession stands available to purchase food, snacks and beverages. Had a blast today at Lucky Ladd Farms for their Strawberry festival! It's my husband and I's first time visiting so we didn't know what to expect but we were both blown away by how much fun activities there are to do and the awesome animals to see. I highly recommend purchasing your tickets online in advance because you will save time and money that way. I believe it is more expensive if you buy tickets at the front booths. That, plus you can schedule an arrival time. Parking is free too so that's a plus! They have plenty of fun family activities to do: gem mining, barrel rides, slides, kids playground areas etc. This is definitely a great spot to bring your kids for some fun in the outdoors! I love their Cedar Glade Trail was a nice little walk for our family and we got to see all the adorable animals! They had Racoons, emu's, goats, capybaras, prairie dogs and red foxes! They also have a bunch more animals towards the front for guests to see. We loved the peacocks. The aviary is a nice spot for guests to walk around and feed the birds. They also had an area with a couple bunnies for guests to pet. There's plenty of other animals they have but it would much to long to mention them all! Almost all of the animals looked happy and had a very spacious habitat to enjoy. Well worth the $16 entrance fee! We will be back for future events! read more

Brought our grandson here and he had a great time. The only letdown was the food. Super slow service and the cheese burgers were room temperature. One thing to keep in mind that some of the play structures are in direct sunlight so check how hot they are before your little ones get on. Well worth a trip. read more

Christmas Holidays lights were awesome. The pathway around to see the lights and the whoville grinch display was spectacular. Lots of photos props opportunity. The s'mores fire pits was lots of fun. Purchased from the concession stand. It's the evening and a lot of the animals weren't out. But it was nice seeing the display. Wish we could have done cookies with Santa but the extra tickets were sold out. Everything was outside so bundle up extra warm for the strolls. Some area were dark and muddy but that didn't stop the kids from having fun. Definitely worth to check out during the season. read more

Beautiful property! Went during the tulip festival. There is something for everyone here. For my general admission ticket, I walked through two gorgeous tulip fields and strolled past baby goats, sheep and llamas. Kids would love it! A big slide, piggy rides on a track and a tractor pulling open plastic barrels for young and older to ride all await! Multiple options for food are on site. There is even a display all about bees! BUYER BEWARE!!! They ripped me off for over $160!! NEVER, NEVER, NEVER buy any advanced ticket schemes from them. 1. I found Lucky Ladd had a Fall event with a pumpkin patch. 2. I checked the upcoming weather for my grandchildren's visit from out of state at various times/days including just prior to #4 3. My grandchildren were coming to visit from Oct 25, arriving by air in the late afternoon that day and returning the following Wednesday, Oct 29th mid morning (fyi - LL event was only from Thurs - Sun.) 4. I purchased 6 Pick a Day tickets for Oct 26th at 10 am on October 23rd (after checking the weather) plus 2 pumpkins which was THE ONLY DAY Lucky Ladd was open while my grandchildren would be in town, weather had predicted possible afternoon light rain (we would have been back home long before then. )(See actual weather attached.) I live about 15 minutes away and there was NO severe weather. 5. My grandchildren were coming to visit from Oct 25, arriving by air in the late afternoon that day and returning the following Wednesday, Oct 29th (fyi LL event was only from Thurs - Sun.) Sunday, Oct 26th was the ONLY day we could go which is why I chose the PICK A DAY option instead of Any Day tickets. That is the only day that had any value for us. 6. At 9:11 am on Saturday, Oct 25, I received an email stating they were closing Sunday due to weather and I could come that day or get a credit voucher (which would EXPIRE at the end of the year!!!!) which was only good for less than 30 days of future events AND OF NO USE TO ME OR ANYONE IN MY FAMILY WHATSOEVER. My grandchildren were arriving after they would be closed on Saturday. 7. I tried to sell the credit voucher on Facebook Marketplace and on Next door and there was ZERO interest even though I offered it at a discount. 8. Other events offered refunds when cancelled for weather such as Bonaroo. If Taylor Swift cancelled, there would be a refund. If a theatre cancelled there would be a refund. All of these professional organizations offer refunds if THEY cancel. They may offer an option of a credit but also offer a refund. 9. I insisted on a full refund. The below was a Messenger where they lied and said they HAD severe storms. They LIED. I insisted on a full refund which they have denied. Overall had a very nice time! The lines were out of control even with prepaying. The line was far too long to get our tulips wrapped so we skipped that. Service overall seems very slow and inefficient major improvements needed. We skipped getting food because after 15 minutes the line did not move. We did get slushies on the way out in the gift shop and people after me got there drinks because they lost or didn't have a system and skipped my drink and I had to ask for it and was told I should already have it, and I had to say not yet. Teenagers mainly working not set up for success. The farm has so much to do and is really well up kept, very clean for a farm to a of activities for kids. read more

Went in the middle of the week with some friends--none of us had kids and we all had a great time! Even in the middle of the week it was very busy but there were no lines for any of the attractions. We had the cider donuts which were good. As adults we were able to participate in most all attractions and it definitely brought out the kid in us--we had a great time! We especially loved feeding the birds and being so close to them. Would recommend going mid-week to avoid lines, the sweets are a nice treat but wouldn't get any of the food like burgers and such. Anticipate spending a couple hours there to get through everything (we were there for about 90 minutes with no lines). read more

Even as a grown couple without children, we had a wonderful time. I dream about the frozen apple cider and the apple cider donut. It gets pretty crowded on an October Saturday, but that's too be expected. Next time I'll try to go earlier in the season, and I would recommend going on a weekday if possible! read more

Our family had the best time! Met up with friends to visit for the first time recently and we upgraded to a season pass before we left. Feeding the birds in the aviary was a big highlight. All the kids burned a lot of energy playing on the playgrounds. I've seen reviews about long lines and not much to do but that was not at all the experience we had. Spent about 15 minutes getting in and about 20 in line for food. Staff was very friendly. It was during an Easter event so crowds were heavy and I didn't feel like the wait times were unreasonable at all. We plan to make this the spot for weekly meetups with friends this summer because it meets the needs for both my younger kids and tweens. Definitely recommend you give them a visit. read more

This patch was recommended to me, and thought we would give it a try. It is recommended to buy your tickets online. There are a few options to choose from. Being spoiled by Midwest pumpkin patches and corn mazes means it's hard to compare to those. The corn maze was just okay nothing special. The petting zoo and all the animal interactions were fun! I do suggest starting from the back and working your way up through the property. We ran out of time and didn't get to see all that was back there. There are a bunch of interactive activities mostly aimed for children, but as a group of twenty somethings we had a good time with them too. They did have a large selection of pumpkins to choose from at a very good price! Our tickets came with one pumpkin each, and we bought 7 other smaller decorative pumpkins for $13. The food is just fair food, I was excited for homemade apple cider donuts, but they don't come out hot and the cashier wasn't very nice either. I would say 90% of the employees are high school students and aren't the friendliest. Overall it was still a good time, but we are going to try a different one next year. read more

ONLINE BUYERS BEWARE!!!. we purchase online tickets for two families, one from out of town, totaling $220.00 and they cancelled on us because of rain. We were own our way with raincoats and umbrellas when we received the cancellation notice. They gave us only one month the use the credit, which we couldn't possibly plan for with work, school and travel for out of town guests. I unfortunately assumed since they cancelled on us they would extend the credit . Nope, they stole $220.00. I have since learned that it is not necessary to buy in advance because they do not turn anyone away. It is always crowded and the portable potties filthy. You would think with the fees they charge ( and steal in my case ) they would build permanent restrooms for the family's with small children. read more

Lots of cute activities for children of all ages. My 7 month old and i got lots of pictures, goat pets, and a fun train ride in. Will be back next year! Do not attend this farm unless you believe Covid isn't real. We bought $70 tickets based on the fact their website makes it seems they are taking Covid precautions. THEY ARE NOT. The lines were crowded, no one enforced social distancing or masks, and we had to leave. I left a review on Facebook, messsged they asking for a refund and THEY BLOCKED ME! After fake replying like an auto reply. My son is immune compromised and high risk, and not only did they mislead us, they put us in danger. This farm far exceeded my expectations. Very well developed and maintained. There was soooo much to do. I took my 6 year old son and his friend and they had a blast. We spent 4 hours there and definitely could have stayed for the whole day! I appreciated the thought put into signage.. everything was clearly labeled and finding your way is a breeze. I also very much appreciated that bottled water was SUPER reasonably priced. Some places you go, they are charging $5 for a bottle of water.. not this place! I loved that they had a well-developed Toddler playground. Even though I don't have young children, I appreciate the inclusiveness. I went to Lucky Ladds with my parents, my sibling whom is 20 yo and also my younger brother who is about 3 years old. Being in my 20s, I didn't have huge expectations for a petting zoo and pumpkin patch, but this was a great experience! Fun for people of all ages! W My family had an amazing time! They have lots of fun games including a toddler park, tractor pull, large slides, tractor rides, a large jump pad and so much more. Fun for people of all ages! There were so many activities that it can keep your kids occupied for hours! Employees were all extremely nice and seemed like they genuinely enjoyed their job. This was absolutely one of the best days my family and I have enjoyed since moving to Tennessee. going to a pumpkin patch is a small tradition in our family an I'm glad my wife found this place, we will definitely be returning every year and during the other seasons that they are open. The farm is great but the staff is SO rude! A kids attraction and yet you yell at children and parents as if they are in a museum. The kid who was running the pony rides yelled at us, and the girl who was working the bunny enclosure was so rude. I went thinking "I'm 39, I'm driving an hour down Nolensville Pike to go to a petting zoo, I wish I had pre-gamed this." By the end of our journey, me and my friends shut the farm down and were talking a return trip. It was freaking fun. The drive down was rather uneventful - Google Navigation got me to within half a block of the place and claimed it was on the other side of the road, however the large field of cars parked on the right of the road and reasonably sized sign got me into the right place with no problem. The thing started with all of us trying to figure out how much cash we had on hand and realizing that the closest ATM was probably about 8 miles from there. We decided we had enough cash to get in and then realized they take Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. The animals were friendly, loved being fed, petted, etc. You can walk in with some goats if you want to and there's an attendant, or play with Rosie the rather loud minipig. Tons of disco chickens, peacocks, and rather tired golden retrievers litter the place along with goats, rabbits, peahens, and a cat who the person working claimed was named Lucky and was antisocial (his purring and attention whoring made me believe she was quite mistaken) When a group of mid-twenties - thirtysomethings hit a playground, well that was amazing. People taking videos going down hill slides, strobe flashlights through tunnel slides, etc. We slid, climbed, and rode everything we reasonably could and it was fun. Nobody broke anything. Took a hay ride, it was ok but eh... little slow. Realized this was not the Haunted Hayride which we took later and although still a little slow was more fun as we got to see some really amazingly carved pumpkins. Also, they didn't jump out and scare us, but their pre-ride notice that they were not going to jump out and scare us put everyone on edge. It was quite amusing. We went in the corn field maze after dark and wandered around with flashlights and armed with the knowledge that with several college grads and cell phone technology we probably were not going to starve or die. One of our party realized he had lost his phone and when we called it it had already been found and returned to the main building. "Hey, this is Bob's phone, he lost it." "it's in the main building, are you on the farm?" "yes, we're in the corn maze right now" "if you survive, it's at the front register." We all thought this was a pretty cool place in which you could lose a phone in a corn maze and it would be found and returned before you got out of the maze. I'm sure there're reasons I should not like this place, but the animals seemed happy, the place had the cleanest port-a-johns you've ever run across - all who used them seriously said they were immaculate - the one I used was clean, smelled of carrot cake, and was disturbingly unused-looking. I mean clean... Caramel apples were great, the kettle corn was particularly amazing. We shut the place down. The only issue I had was leaving after dark in the country is kind of nerve wracking. It's dark out there, real dark. Just memorize where the hard turn is and you'll be fine - otherwise you might end up going straight and into someone's half-mile-long driveway. Man, if I were a kid I don't think I could have enjoyed that place any more. One bit of advice to vegetarians though, plan to eat elsewhere. The only veggie options won't help you much. read more

Located in Eagleville TN (midway between Murfreesboro and Franklin), Amy & Jason Ladd have built a fabulous and affordable family destination. The Farm features all kinds of activities including: a sorghum maze, pumpkin patch, hay ride, petting zoo, slides and jungle gyms, corn shucking, a learning center, and other fun activities. Pack a lunch or grab something from the snack bar. We went on a sunny Sunday afternoon and despite the fact that there were loads of families already there, we easily found parking space a didn't have to wait in hardly any lines. Tip: Remember to take some extra quarters for the animal feed in the petting zoo. read more

My family and I have visited Lucky Ladd Farms twice. From the petting zoo to the slides, we love all the activities that they offer. I recommend visiting any time of year, as they have a cute splash pad in the summer months and we always love visiting the corn maze in the Fall. There is so much to do, you could make a whole day out of a trip here. The only reason why they did not get a 5 star rating from me is because of the false advertising that was placed in the Rutherford Parent Magazine. The article was titled, "Butterflies at Lucky Ladd". It claimed that the butterfly sanctuary "features hundreds of live butterflies" and that you could "hand feed them with special nectar." When we arrived and paid for three passes I asked where we should go. The cashier told us that they were thinking about having it some time in 2018 and that nothing has been built for it yet. She said that they had been receiving a lot of inquiries about the butterflies and didn't know why. I feel like that is poor management. That was the whole reason why we came! We were disappointed, but carried on and enjoyed the farm. read more

Great place for the whole family! We visited Saturday with my 6 year old and 3 year old, and both were crying when we had to leave. Always know it's a win if this happens! We stayed for nearly 4 1/2 hours! This place has so much to do you cannot do it all. What's there? Let's see....A huge Corn Maze, the best petting zoo and animals hands down, including chickens, roosters, goats, pigs, alpacas, llamas, cows, ponies, donkeys, bunnies, pigeons, peacocks, doves, and I am pretty sure a yak or some crazy cow breed I have never seen before! My kids loved feeding them all, and you also can go inside the petting area and brush their hair. My daughter loved this, she even picked a little nanny goat up and held it like a baby! For the adventurous kiddos, they have so many play areas, including tire swings, obstacle tire climbs that even 10-12 year olds will find challenging, pipe swings, and a huge tire mountain. Not done! Add to that a sand area with the digger toys that you actually steer, a full playground with tunnels, and three of the highest potato sack slides around! This year they had added some new things: pony rides for $5, mining for gold which looked great but we ran out of time, a balloon man, and my husband's favorite part was a pumpkin sling shot and corn shooter! Pretty fun even for grown ups! The cons: the hay ride is pretty lame and the concessions are VERY slow, I would advise taking your own food. The drinks were really reasonable ($1-2) and they had homemade lemonade and the homemade Kettle Corn and it was all fantastic, $4.99 for a huge bag of KC and it was legit, still warm. Other than that, a no on the food. I would have packed our lunch. There are NO healthy options at all, I mean nothing! My husband is crazy healthy and he had to eat a plain baked potato! Ha. No chicken of any kind, just chili dogs, beef, and Frito pie. Gag. So if you are healthy, you better take some snacks! ;) They did take debit cards/cc at the front and you could pay for everything this way! Thank goodness they aren't in the Stone Age. At the end of your day, you can even get some ice cream on the way out! They have Blue Bell on site! Happy Fall! read more
