Gentry's Farm is ideal for the 1-12 crowd. Having come here among other places since my kids were old enough to be carried in a carseat it's been a great place to do a fun corn maze, see some animals, ride a hay ride, play some put put, and traverse a really low sorghum maze. Not a lot ever changes year to year here other than the path in the mazes. The tractor rides offer low-frills slow views of cows and occasionally an errant turtle. This year I realized my kids are getting a bit too big to be amused by some of the things here, but they still managed to have a great time playing with kid toys/playthings in an area where their peers are not, or are there playing with kid sized cabins/play areas. I mix this and Lucky Ladd and a couple of others in every year and hit a few with various kid families, so it's a nice staple

This place was amazing! The kids had endless things to do and everyone is SO NICE!! I would highly recommend bringing your family here and be prepared to be here a while...and not because of long lines, but because your kid will not want to leave

We came here on Halloween to enjoy the gorgeous weather and partake in basic Fall activities. The price for entry is very cheap to other similar farms I have been to back home in Texas, so I was pleasantly surprised by that. The farm is also wonderfully decorated with fun details that really make you feel like you are immersed in Fall fun. Staff is friendly making sure everyone feels welcome and ready to enjoy their outing. Highlights include the pumpkin sale area (so many perfect pumpkins at a great price), the hay ride (tractor pull more correctly) that passes historic homes, and the corn maze. If you have kiddos with you (we didn't) there are a ton of activities in addition to those I listed before for them to enjoy - you can easily make a day of it!

Gentry's Farm is such a fun place to explore in the Fall! They have pumpkins, of course, but they also have a corn maze, animals, and more. Plus, there are a lot of opportunities for fun Fall pictures!

Thank You Gentry's Family. Took my two year old today, and it was PERFECT!! Everyone was so friendly. We also went on the tractor ride, and saw a calf, that was a couple hours old. Would recommend to anyone!! Just an honest family, and we sure are glad for the Gentry family.

Fun corn maze. We took our time, and it took us about 20 min.

Farms, corn mazes and pumpkin patches, are synonymous with the Autumn holiday season. And Genrty's checks all three boxes. This family run farm is the perfect place to bring your family. There is a corn maze, pumpkins and gourds for purchase, tractor ride, animals to look at and a ton of games and activities for kids. There is even a little snack bar. So go, grab a hot cocoa and some popcorn and enjoy this lovely farm. My sister and I went, and spent a lovely 2 hours there. I thought it was worth the money, and we bought some amazing pumpkins.

Had a fun time here today. Professional, warm, and a fun family spot. Masks were on and hand sanitizer available, but fall fun was going on as well. We will definitely be back next year.

Kids have gotten their pix here 5 years in a row!

I'm a bit biased because we've been going to this place since soon after we moved to Nashville. But we have been to other pumpkin patches and I have to say, the extras for Gentry's make it worth the trip. As an FYI, your GPS is going to point you to the entrance to the residential part of the farm (which is closed to visitors), and what you want to do is enter slightly to the North of that. The first thing to know about Gentry's is that these guys have had this farm in the family since well into the 1800's. And to keep the farm viable, a number of years ago, they began hosting tours for schools and other groups and from there they began the whole pumpkin patch/fall fest thing. And as an FYI, you absolutely can just buy pumpkins without paying an admission fee. Yeah, they may be slightly more expensive than you can buy them in bulk at Costco, but we bought a trunkload of 'em for under $40, so I'd call that fair. This year (2013), there is also an area where you can roam a real pumpkin patch and pick-em yourself! One thing to note is that there is no way that you are going to get a wireless signal out here, and as a result, this really is a CASH ONLY place. You're going to a farm. Bring cash. They do take checks as well, but you're going to need some cash anyway to buy refreshments once you get inside. This year (2013) it was $7 a family member for everyone over the age of 2. Once you get admission, you'll have access to a number of activities, including a corn maze (which seems to get better every year), a hay ride (very safe), an indoor maze and a ton of playground space. Kids can also get up close and personal with a number of animals in a very controlled environment, including sheep, goats and chicken. There are some really neat hands-on discovery areas where kids can play with different kinds of grains, etc. And a bazillion different photo opportunities. This place is LOADED with history and architecture! Refreshments are run by a local church to help raise money for their youth programs, and it is generally all cheap - I think last year most items like popcorn, sodas and hot coffee/cocoa/cider were all a buck (did I mention bring cash?). Lastly, I don't think I've ever seen anyone working here not smiling. They've always been very very friendly and hospitable - I can't imagine anyone not getting taken care of here. A fall must-visit for your kids and for all of your pumpkin needs!

This is a really nice pumpkin patch farm. They have a few animals to look at and the decoration is nice! To go inside and enjoy all the activities there is an $8 fee for ages 2 and up, excluding seniors. There are two maze corns, 1 for children and one for adults. They have a playground for kids with swings. They also have a train/wagon that takes you on a little trip around the farm. The only thing I can say I didn't like too much was that a lot of the kids stuff to play with was really dirty but that might not bother a lot of people. All in all, it's a nice place to visit.

When will your corn maze and fall fun begin? What are the hours and the prices?

Do they have fresh apple cider donuts?

I did not see anything like that there. That's not to say they weren't there but not at the little snack shack where I bought popcorn for my girls.

You pull up and there is ample parking right outside the farm. We were greeted by one of the Wilson's children (added that nice family feel) where we purchased admission. $10- they take cash, card and Venmo. From there you have fresh kettle corn being cooked and bagged, and a nice size area to purchase pumpkins and other goodies. You can hop on the tractor and take a ride around some of the property or they also had a little 'train' for the kids - super cute. The corn maze is straight back from the entrance - it's huge and you can get lost - take note of the aerial photo at the entrance . When you come out, if you start to head back where you came, you'll see a wildflower path up ahead, was a nice stroll up through there, and wraps you back around to another pumpkin patch. That's where the 'action' takes place... cannon and slingshot action! Here you can pay for a slingshot or cannon experience; we did both. Slingshot was fun, mini pumpkins - $1 for 2 shots and you totally get that 'pull back far far far sitting on the ground experience' - loved it! The cannon - well- I loved the power in between my hands!! That sucker shot a NICE distance. This was $2/shot or $5 for 3. Well worth it!!! We didn't carry cash on us, so after grabbing a wagon/cart up front (there a few to use - or bring your own!) we grabbed a variety of pumpkins in the field - ghost, green, orange, etc... then we ended up paying for the cannon experience when we purchased the pumpkins. Things to note: Bathrooms on site, cards accepted, pumpkin patch, kettle corn, tractor rides, cannon and slingshot, corn maze, 'train' for the kids. I spotted some fire pits, might be able to use those as well, just ask! We spoke with Lynn (Mrs. Wilson) and learned all about the farm. She and her family really put their heart into this and you can tell. This farm has been in Mr. Wilson's family since the 1800s!! Cannot say enough good things about this Farm and how kind the entire Wilson family is. Bring the family, go with friends, fly solo - whatever, just do it!

We prefer to pick our pumpkins directly from the vine, and Boyd's is the only U-Pick patch we could find in Middle Tennessee! They have an enormous selection of pumpkins, ranging from $3 - $5 based on size. They also have several pre-picked pumpkins available, but we're all about the thrill of the hunt. I was worried that their patch would be picked over when we drove up two days before Halloween, but we managed to snag some extra large pumpkins for a fraction of the price you'd pay at the grocery store or even the farmer's market. I've also visited other U-Pick patches that have more smashed pumpkins than carvable ones, so I was happy to see Boyd's is doing what they can to take care of their crops. Heads-up that this is really just a pumpkin patch. There is also a corn maze, but there's no fall activities or games if that's what you're looking for. Thankfully, we're just in it for the pumpkins, so this was perfect. Their website says that they accept cash or check only - but I did note a Venmo QR code as well when we were checking out. We'll definitely return to Boyd's next season!

They have been doing renovations which included sprayed white insulation on every interior wall and the ceiling of the barn. 2 weeks prior my daughter-in-law did a walk-through of the barn and the owner assured her that all of the walls and ceilings would be finished and that the venue would look beautiful. My poor daughter-in-law was i absolute tears when she walked in for the rehearsal the night before and noticed that the entire facility was still completely undone. The interior still had over sprayed chunky insulation on the interior. Nothing had been touched or been finished like she was promised. It looked absolutely terrible. She asked the owner if it would be finished that evening and the owner dismissed her by only replying NO and then rushed out without any other discussion. Her bridesmaids had to rush out to Michaels to find some fabric and bunting to cover an entire corner of the room because it was so unsightly. Also, the bridal suite was filthy dirty including a disgustingly dirty toilet. The room that had all of the decor and chairs and things were covered in an inch of dust and the chairs that we needed to use for the bride and grooms table were covered in black mold. The air conditioning was also not working due to the renovations. I would NEVER recommend this venue to anyone. They should be ashamed for tarnishing what should have been the happiest day of their lives. This was honestly a case of fraud. The venue that they saw in the day they contracted with them was NOT the venue that they had on the day of the wedding
