I was a little reserved about going here based on the mixed reviews. But glad we did it was the best $20 I've spent all week. They didn't over do it with people popping out at every turn. The props were superb and and you got to actually enjoy them with being pushed through. Tons of cool themed rooms and the 3D psychedelic rooms were really cool. Our kids couldn't stop taking about it all the way back to Murfreesboro. Good job guys well done

Fun place to be on a Saturday nite. We got there around 845 and the line wasn't too bad. Bought our ticket from Groupon for a discounted price. Then had to go to the front to redeem our tickets and wait in line. We waited about 45 min in line but if you go with some good friends it didn't seem that long. There was some screaming moments but they definitely need more workers. I was having more fun scaring my friends that were really scared. The best part was probably the 3D colorful room. That was a nice touch. And then The maze was pretty cool too! It took us about 20 min to finally find the right door. The staff and workers was so fun and some even took pictures with us. Definitely worth the money BC it didn't go by quick like some of the other haunted house I been to. Overall we had lots of fun!!

The only thing is parking no lot ether you have to park on the street or find a parking garage over a 2 miles away! And no on-site security.my kids said it was good!

I loved this place years ago and love it even more now working there! Awesome people to surround yourself with all night while dressing up to terrify you :). What's great is, they are obeying covid restrictions but still can scare the pants off of you! Worth checking out!!!

You can't take your phone in or take pictures, but there's a portion where an actor can take a photo for you.

How long in total did it take for waiting in the lines and going through the maze?

The lines depending on what night and time you come. You can upgrade to a speed pass if you are in a rush. The attraction itself takes about 30 minute to complete, hope this helps!

Normally haunted houses can get by on the claustrophobia alone. Tight spaces with Leatherface around the corner. But when I heard we had a haunted woods close to downtown, I was intrigued, and thus made plans to go. Located at the lovely Honeysuckle Hill farm (http://www.honeysucklehillfarm.com/, and ironically a very family-friendly place and truly lovely when not covered in Halloween-ness) about 30 minutes from downtown, Scream Creek is a haunted woods down right. For $20, you can also do a haunted corn maze (less haunted actually, more of a game you play that might be more suitable to children, and I would recommend downloading the flashlight app for your smartphone because there are NO LIGHTS AND WOW WAS IT DARK) but for $15 you can just do the haunted woods, which I recommend for adults. The space, the dark, and the natural fog make this more terrifying that a haunted hose, because every noise and smell around you becomes a zombie or a werewolf or some unidentifiable horror. There was a slide (FYI, you are outdoors in October, dress warmly and in something you don't mind getting potentially muddy) which was kind of cool, and shacks to go through, and bridges to cross...it was like being in a Grimm fairy tale before Disney made them over. It was scary and fun all at once and probably the best haunted attraction I have been to in Tennessee. If you have the time, and are brave (again, its chilly, and its really really effing dark!) give this a try to get you in the Halloween mood. The people running the show were so nice and the actors really into it. I actually had fun being scared.

I appreciate that the houses are updated yearly, which allows repeat visitors some new spooks and experiences. However, one of the updates of this year I found to be cheap, and I was frustrated with the experience. My partner and I collect the souvenir photos that are taken at the beginning of your experience. There are three rooms to take photos in, and this year we finally completed our trifecta. Unfortunately, they made a decision to only sell the photos with photoshopped backgrounds. The photo booth areas already have decorations, and can stand alone without the photoshop, which looks... terrible. We really just wanted a photo in the booth with the built-in background. In addition to our photos (3 large, 2 small, all photoshopped with different backgrounds), we were given novelty frames with our purchase that are very poorly made. The frames were already damaged when we got them and have sharp edges. We pulled the protective film off, so I know they are new, they are just poorly made. I hope they stop photoshopping the backgrounds, and get some quality products because we are certainly paying for them $$$

The actors were amazing with my younger kids. They would jump out and scare them and then give them a fist bump. The decorations were amazing. Truly unreal the attention to detail. It was a Halloween wonderland. I can't say that it was super scary. It might be because we had kids with us and the actors took it easy on us, which worked out great! Great fun family night! Terror Trail Haunted Hayride

This is my 1st time ever experiencing a Haunted Hayride so everything was novelty. I didn't even…read moreknow this Raceway existed but it's cool that this season it was turned into a Haunted Hayride. I didn't get to watch the Magic Show but there seemed to be a circus sort of a stage right next to the food trucks. Warning: This is going to be a very detailed review. PARKING: At the guard post there is a $20 parking fee that is payable before entering the Terror Trail and is not included in the Ticket price. I'm not sure if VIP tix included parking. Food Trucks/Concessions: Only available on weekends. You can't bring any F&B into the Terror Trail but you can bring your own for consumption while standing in line/watching the magic show. Restrooms: There were about 8-10 porta potties that were very full and had no more water to even wash your hands probably bcos there were about 1400ppl that night I went. I didn't realize that it was the opening night ‍ The System: Since it was the opening night to the public, it was wild and lots of chaos bcos everyone was confused on how the system worked. Even with online tix, you had to scan a QR code to sign a waiver and then go to the box office to receive a physical card that had to be surrendered for admission or a wristband for VIPs that could ride unlimited times. There were probably about 1000 regular ticket holders and maybe a few hundred VIP wristbands that night from what i was told. Each trailer could hold about 25ppl and there were 8 wagons going simultaneously and at 40mins per ride, it's understandable why people were irate. The regular lines seemed to never move bcos many ppl tried to cut the lines and VIPs went through a separate fastpass line. But after clearing out the influx of VIPs, each wagon had about 10 VIPs and 15 regulars so the lines finally started moving. The Mgr was very nice and understanding and upgraded many to VIP or a return pass on another day for being patient. (It pays not to yell at service staff!) Regardless, i strongly recommend going on the other days as Fri/Sat will be extremely crazy. The Wagon: I didn't expect to sit on loose hay on the trailer floor. People with disabilities might find this to be a huge challenge which is probably why there were complaints asking for refunds of the tickets and parking. Staff helped as well as the other patrons. Walking onto the trailer was fine but getting off was a little scary for me as i was afraid of slipping. The Terror Trail: There are many actors in amazing costumes! Chainsaws, electric taser like props and many mechanical props are scattered all throughout the trail. I wouldn't call it terrifying and in my opinion it's family friendly. Maybe kids might be scared but they won't ever touch you although they do bang/hit the back of the trailer as a scare tactic. I'd say it's more cool than scary especially when i saw these 2 "Spirits" flying up in the air! It was an awesome setup to put 2 ppl propped all the way up and for the tall Slenderman to scare us. I loved it. Another favorite was the subject that was electrocuted sort of a Frankenstein/Resident Evil combo. I thought that subject would attack us after the Decontamination Failure but sadly that didn't happen. If just for the chaos on Opening Night, definitely less stars BUT that wouldn't be accurate bcos Im sure they'd iron out the hiccups and it is still a fun Haunted Hayride. So that's why I gave it a 4* Overall.

Unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. During our entire ride, there was only…read moreone jump scare, and our trailer remained completely silent throughout the trail -- a clear sign that the attraction lacked energy or excitement. For most of the ride, it felt as though we were simply being driven through a field with Halloween decorations rather than experiencing a true haunted hayride event. Our entire wagon was silent during the duration of the ride - not a single scream. There were maybe 5 actors throughout the whole thing. It was super cringey at times & nonsensical. You drive for 5-7mins before even reaching the first scare. Given that we paid nearly $100 per couple, the attraction did not deliver the value or thrill that was advertised. While I understand there may be growing pains and that staff were doing their best, the overall experience felt careless and underwhelming. Adding an additional parking fee on top of that felt like another unnecessary expense for an already disappointing outing. If you work hard for your money... don't waste it on this place.

Our entire wagon was laughing at how bad it was…read more We paid $35 per ticket for what was advertised as a 45-minute haunted hayride and got maybe 20 minutes of a rushed, lazy tour around someones drag race property. Add to that a $20 surprise parking fee that isn't listed anywhere on their website, and you're already off to a bad start. The "parking lot" was total disarray, difficult to find, no signage. Once we finally parked, we were met with a THREE. HOUR. wait for the hayride itself and another 30 minutes just to check in !! The space was embarrassingly barren, maybe eight picnic tables, a few orange string lights, and two food trucks (one literally had the driver sleeping in the front seat). The unmarked taco truck sold bottled water in a filthy cooler near trash that smelled like rotten milk and vomit. No atmosphere, no music, no energy. Every now and then a "magic show" would start on a tiny stage, but it was so awkward and random it just made things worse. There were maybe three or four actors total roaming the grounds, all teenagers doing their best with what little they had, but they were waaaaay more annoying than scary. It felt cheap, lazy, and completely unorganized. When we FINALLY made it onto the hayride, delusionally exhausted, everyone wonder why we waited out this long, we caught up to the wagon ahead of us quite a few times, greeted by far from scary actors, animatronics straight from Amazon and inflatables. They even parked up in between two LED screens blasting bad dubstep and a cheesy playstation style graphic cornmaze for a solid 5 minutes, to continue through sparsely placed set ups with awkward actors. No story, no tension, no creativity, just a lot of noise and flashing lights. Even the staff were checked out. Security guards in line were openly complaining about the setup. Actors broke character towards the end. The "grand finale" was a single clown girl insisting that she scared us. Our wagon boo'd unanimously. We paid almost $200 total for what turned out to be an expensive lesson in false advertising and proper scam. Everyone on our trailer ended up laughing, not because it was fun, but because it was so unbelievably bad we couldn't believe it was real. Save your money. Go literally anywhere else.

Another hour of waiting took place finding parking, doing the lengthy walk to the front, and waiting in yet another line to get our tickets. It took a total of 3 hours on their property to do the 24 minute ride. They really over sell it and don't care about wait times for the customers. I heard the manager saying "3 more people just came in and I want to add them to one of the rides," after the place had already closed. With the 80 minute round trip from Nashville/Franklin, this took a total of 4 and a half hours to do and cost us $200. The ride itself was decent, but there are 2 or 3 what I would call "good" displays during it, with the rest being a mix of people running out of the woods and cheap Spirit Halloween electric characters. Not a good value. We would not do it again. Far too expensive for what is provided and the length of the ride, and a massive waste of time waiting because of their overselling their rides. Also, they do not tell you anywhere on their website that they are also going to charge you $20 for parking when you show up. At the bottom of your e-mail receipt AFTER ordering your tickets, you see a note that you have to pay for parking. Further, ordering online does not save you any time, so don't do it. You still have to go wait in the admission line to show them your e-mail receipt to get physical tickets just like the people who pay when they arrive. That really didn't make much sense. 4 and a half hours for this really was insane.
