I have been to Nashville Nightmare many years now, but was disappointed by my experience this year. Entry was relatively quick; we previously have waited up to an hour to get into the actual grounds, but this time it only took 15 minutes on the Saturday before Halloween. I appreciate that the houses are updated yearly, which allows repeat visitors some new spooks and experiences. However, one of the updates of this year I found to be cheap, and I was frustrated with the experience. My partner and I collect the souvenir photos that are taken at the beginning of your experience. There are three rooms to take photos in, and this year we finally completed our trifecta. Unfortunately, they made a decision to only sell the photos with photoshopped backgrounds. The photo booth areas already have decorations, and can stand alone without the photoshop, which looks... terrible. We really just wanted a photo in the booth with the built-in background. In addition to our photos (3 large, 2 small, all photoshopped with different backgrounds), we were given novelty frames with our purchase that are very poorly made. The frames were already damaged when we got them and have sharp edges. We pulled the protective film off, so I know they are new, they are just poorly made. I hope they stop photoshopping the backgrounds, and get some quality products because we are certainly paying for them $$$ read more

We took our 4 kids ages 7,8,13 and 14 through all 4 haunted houses. We had the BEST time. We went on a Thursday so the lines weren't bad at all. The actors were amazing with my younger kids. They would jump out and scare them and then give them a fist bump. The decorations were amazing. Truly unreal the attention to detail. It was a Halloween wonderland. I can't say that it was super scary. It might be because we had kids with us and the actors took it easy on us, which worked out great! Great fun family night! (this post was in my drafts for a while. My date of visiting was October 24th, 2024) Nashville nightmare is a cool place but ultimately not all that scary. The scare factor comes primarily from props and animatronic creatures, and there are barely ANY actual moving actors inside the haunted experiences. For someone who scares easy or is just there for the fun of it (kinda like me) this is probably fine, but at a certain point even i was struggling to be actually scared. to be fair tho i was also in a a large group of people so that probably lessened the experience even more, making it harder for the actors which were inside the attractions to actually scare me directly, which is not Nashville Nightmare's fault. Ironically it's actually a bit scarier OUTSIDE of the attractions rather than inside- on the outside there are real actors moving around trying to scare you. On the inside you'd be lucky to find any at all. So yeah, kinda of cash grabby mid experience if you ask me. Maybe something a kid would enjoy read more

Great haunted house in the Nashville area! Grew up going to Haunted Houses all around the country and I have to say that their set's are awesome and fabulously done. We tend to go on nights when not crowded and pay for fast pass but either way it's never been a horrible experience for me with lines. We've done the Valentines Day haunt as well and it's great. Definitely a fan and suggest checking it out. It's fun to do anyways! read more

Went here for a new group meeting! The good: the option to skip the line/fast pass was great because it definitely was crazy with how many people actually were there on a Saturday night. Having 4 different haunted houses gives customer the chance to experience more. The bad: the lines were short for each attraction because they were sending people in about 2 mins after the previous group. This often meant people either catching up either another group or having someone behind them clash with another group. Both equaled out to multiple people hearing or seeing a "scare" that was supposed to be hidden. Turned out to be a huge waste of time for quite a few people. Another thing was how expensive and watered down the "alcohol" was for patrons. Such a huge disappointment all around. I also counted no more than 4-6 live actors per attraction. Most just had props that were lackluster. Definitely not worth $30 - $60 that people were being charged. If they really try harder next year then perhaps it would be an attraction worth racing about for others to see. read more

This was not scary AT ALL. It was like going through a museum of old haunted house props. Boring! There are hardly any real people inside, just props. Not worth the money and long wait. There are groups on top of groups going through at the same time. It is obvious with the photo booth, gift shop, and extra attractions not included that they are just in it for the money. This place was absolutely terrible!! If i could give it no stars i would. The two "haunted houses" were mostly animatronics and it's a long line of people in the haunted house. You don't just get to go with your group and maybe some random group of three. The people walking around the park as scare actors are scarier than the "haunted houses". Do not waste your precious $45 on these weak haunted houses. If you're just starting out with haunted house this would be a great start. But if you really want to be scared don't go here. read more

My Fiancé and I went here for date night last night and WE HAD A BLAST!! We grabbed a hot dog and had a few drinks before starting all of the haunted houses. Vendors and staff were so sweet and lots of fun to talk to. The props and actors in the attractions were done very well and they definitely got us on multiple occasions 10/10 would recommend. Meh.. I mean attending on opening night I assumed there would be cobwebs. I liked having the 4 options included in general admissions but forget about the secret bar it's not worth it. It's a sugary diabetes shot and that being the only option. The lines were short but that's because they allow people to go too close to others. My husband and I had 2 young girls follow us through, clipping my heel along the way. I get it.. but people too close in there ruins it. Kudos to the props, they did a great job. Just don't go for the personal scare experience unless you want to share with strangers. Honestly the main haunted house was amazing!! I loved the fact they waited a few minutes before each group went. So many places try to speed up the lines but it ruins the experience because you see ppl jump out at the people ahead of you, or you feel rushed because people are behind you ect. Lines weren't too long, but we did go on a Thursday and seemed fairly empty. Also how long the main haunted house was..... never seen anything like it. EXCELLENT design, every room was different and legit felt like a 25 minute haunted house, which that alone made it feel worth the money! My partner and I truly were so impressed with it all. I have been to numerous Haunted Houses and must say this is one of the best in Nashville. I highly suggest to purchase tickets online with Skip The Line Pass if you don't like to stand hours in line for general admission and again for each hauted house. My wife and a couple co-workers went to the zombie apocalypse 2017 recently and originally when I bought our tickets On line I was convinced this event was being pumped up and was going to be mediocre at best. But the thought of walking through a haunted house with an assault rifle shooting zombies sound fun regardless. This event was super fun. They had a plan and you bought your time slot and didn't wait hours in line. We had a 8:00pm slot and shooting zombies by 8:10pm. The staff and actors were superb. Took 8 middle schoolers. 10/10! We were looking for a fun night of HAUNTED HALLOWEEN. The cost was approx $40 per pego. Including the laser maze and the chainsaw maze. We entered 5 spectacularly decorated haunted houses full with SCARES and impressive decor, that thrilled all ages. It's worth every penny. I would say that you could save $10 for the underwhelming mazes but in th le other hand the kids enjoyed them. read more

We love Nashville Nightmare! We've been coming for the past several years, but this year was the best yet! We had an issue with our tickets, but our main man Jinx was so awesome and helped us out! They were talking every safety precaution to keep everyone safe while enhancing the scare factor! Getting to go through spaced out made it a very intimate experience with the monsters and ghouls. We truly appreciate the amount of care, attention to detail, and love that goes into making this haunted house. We will be coming back for many years to come for all three yearly events. I thought the haunted houses were excellent. I was nice and scared but in a thrilling way. One thing I didn't like was the use of fake machine guns - that was too real and bothered me quite a bit. Everything else - the sets were phenomenal, actors all so done up and in character!! The lines were super long to get in to all the houses - I am not sure how to combat that, probably was to be expected the weekend before Halloween. I would go on a weekday next year if I were to go. Great actors, impressive makeup and costumes, amazing sets! So many different houses and other activities! It is so immersive from the moment you walk in. For returning guests, all four houses are totally switched up this year. They usually do a good job of changing things, but each attraction this year is almost unrecognizable, in a good way! Plus, the new full contact clown maze (only $7) was amazing! Definitely get the Slash Pass or Skip the Line tickets-- it's a popular place, don't be angry if you cheap out and have to deal with wait times. Most bad reviews on here seem to be people complaining that they had to wait in line at one of the most sought-after haunted houses in the country. Out of season Haunt, attended due to HauntCon, GREAT show guys! Loved the 4 different haunts. Horror High was my favorite, followed by the First part of the 2nd house, Though I'm not sure of the name of it. The Zombie was pretty cool and the Fairy Tale still has a lot of work to be done, but their haunt actors, the queue actors all committed and you could tell that they loved what they were doing. LOVED talking to Jinx and the Sliders, they really made the experience wonderful. The attention to detail on the inside of the houses was Amazing. A few things that stood out were, the Spirit in the library, she was Spot on and her makeup, lighting and motion were all absolutely astounding. The lead in the Zombie house, She was exactly what you needed her to be. Commanding and imposing, and a redhead! Nothing better than a woman in her full power. The Funeral parlor's peeling wall paper, and crashed in roof with the tree. Very believable. This house has a Lot of potential and I hope they continue to bring screams and laughter to the Nashville area. SCREAM ON! read more

Everyone save your money!! That will be the best tip anyone can give you. I'm still mad at myself for paying $35 for this. This place is horrible. I feel sorry for the people that paid for the fast pass. Anyways you walk in and they check you and then you go thru the line and can get your picture taken. Then go thru the line some more and they scan your ticket. (Do not throw or delete your ticket bc it gets scanned one more time) you go thru the first one which took about 15 min, then the next one the line was alot longer and this is where you have to scan your ticket again. Another 15 min in and then you go to the next one. So not worth it at all. I can't believe this is one of the top in the nation. Again save your money. We made the most of it but still i think about what i could of spent $35 on. read more

I think coming here on a rainy night made the wait not worth it. I mean we paid money to be scared. $35 out the door. It's suppose to be the top rated haunted house of the states. We came early to avoid big long lines during the peak times. You go through security check and enter the first building then outside exit to the next building. I thought the first building was legit fun and the amount of stuff they have decorated the place was amusing to me. It happen to be a rainy night standing outdoors with nothing to hide or tent to stand under. Made it agitating to stand and wait in line. Since we paid big bucks we weren't going to leave without seeing what the second building had in storage. So bring your own umbrellas for ugly weather night. Thank goodness a friend ran back to the car to grab our umbrellas. They do scan your tickets again at the second building so hold on to your passes. Definitely NOT worth the money. I paid $75 for the skip the line pass and I will not be going again even if it was only $20. There were barely any actors and they rarely jumped out. A small $15 one in Valparaiso, Indiana did 10x better than the huge 4 houses here. Props were good and there were plenty, but the scare factor was not there. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE My girlfriends and I had a girl trip from Miami to Nashville and we thought a haunted house would've been fun so I bought us all tickets. I ended up spending $122 just to not be allowed to enter the premises. They made no attempt to mention to us either over the phone or on their website that they would be closing at 11pm, yet they were selling tickets to enter at that time and denied us entry. We were all super disappointed of course but were at least hoping to get refunds for something that was the company's mistake. Even that was a HUGE hassle. We had to spend about two weeks emailing back and forth and eventually finding them on Facebook messenger and asking them why they were asking us to lose money for something that was ultimately their mistake. They were expecting us to purchase tickets for another night before they refund the money. So they expect us buy and sell other tickets just to get a refund? (Mind you by this time we were already back in Miami) Can't believe we had to go through so much for a simple refund over a stupid mistake they made. read more

Nashville Nightmare does not take take COVID-19 seriously!! Nashville Nightmare demonstrated that they would rather have me come to the haunted house with Covid-19 then return an email, text or call for 8 days! I bought the $71 tickets a few weeks in advance as the website suggests then tested positive for COVID-19 about a week ago. My friend and myself emailed, texted, and called Nashville Nightmare over 7 times for the past 8 days and never got responses. But continued to get automated messages about going to their haunted house. Very disappointed they couldn't even return a message about either refunding, moving the date I come, or allowing me to sell the tickets. read more
