I knew they would have stores, restaurants, shops and local items galore; which is why I planned to visit. When I arrived around 9:30 on Saturday morning, it was raining a little bit, but not too bad. Parking was easy to find as they have a huge lot. My first stop was to see the vendors outside for the market and I spent a little bit of time looking at the booths. They had so many local items for sale including; honey, jam, cookies, flowers, arts/crafts, etc. After browsing the booths, I made a decision to purchase a small bouquet of flowers from one of the vendors. As I was walking around, I had so many people compliment the bouquet so I made sure to tell them where I got it! After the farmer's market visit, I walked around inside and found a spot to grab breakfast. After breakfast, I decided to visit the shops inside the factory and absolutely loved all of the cool items for sale! They had so many great spots for home decor and the clothing boutiques were also a huge hit! There were people everywhere on a Saturday morning and I could tell that this was probably a typical Saturday for everyone. I enjoyed the browsing and even took time to take a photo of myself in the rocking chair! Well, I actually asked for a woman with her young daughter to take the photo and they did without hesitation. I really did have a nice time visiting the factory and already plan to visit again when I return in a few months.

When I first came about two years ago, it was still in its early stages with construction going on and shops just starting to open. Now, it's completely transformed. The entire place feels beautifully renovated, with a huge variety of restaurants and shops all under one roof. It has become a great spot to walk around, explore, and spend time. I checked out several places during my visit, including Two Hands, Hattie B's, Five Daughters Bakery, and a coffee shop, and the overall experience was fantastic. It's now a great place to hang out, whether you're going for food, shopping, or just to explore. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to!

Parking-5-Great large lot outside with easily accessible spots. Well lit lot. Room-5-Fantastic room with an actual desk-sized desk. Shower was large and the water was hot. Mattress/pillows-5-Typical Hilton pillows and mattress, not sure if they are different from Hampton and Double Tree but they do seem much more comfortable. Elevator speed/availability-5-Really quick and readily available. Gym/pool-5-The gym was great, all the cardio machines and weights you need for a legit workout, and it's open 24/7. It's on the 2nd floor FYI. Restaurant-5-I actually ate here three times, twice for dinner and once for breakfast. I recommend the employee burger (not on the menu) for a quick meal and the pork chop with blackberry moonshine sauce for dinner-it was fantastic. Our server Knox was great, super attentive and knowledgeable about the area. Best luck in coding Knox! Staff-5-Again a great staff, very personable for the most part and quick to help if needed. Price-5-Great price for the area, no complaints. FYI Diamond members get free breakfast. Overall-5- Not one issue, this is how Hilton stays are supposed to be. These folks do it right! The staff is very friendly and the hotel is very nice. I stayed in a room on the 8th floor near the Executive Lounge (815 perhaps?). The executive lounge was very nice and offered a good selection of hot and cold breakfast food in the morning. It also had a really nice, large patio with a great view. The room was very spacious, clean, and modern, however the air flow in the room wasn't the best, which I think caused the room to have a stale/mildew oder. I smelled it constantly while in the room, even while I tried to sleep and as soon as I woke up in the morning. I should have asked to be moved to a different room, but I opted not to, thinking that every other room in the hotel might smell that way. I asked 2 colleagues also staying there for a work trip we were all on, if they also had the smell in their rooms and they both said no. I think it was just my room, and also maybe tied to the A/C fan not being at full blast when I tried to adjust it. Still, this was a very nice, updated, and clean hotel and I would stay here again, just not in room 815.

A good friend was getting married, I got to see her get ready upstairs in the chick loft. Mirrors comfy chairs and couches with a restroom as well. The barn area of the wedding was beautiful... simplistic and classy. Overall all pretty and even made me think about getting married. Pricing isn't too bad, the website breaks it down. Only downside is the kids screaming after school if you have the wedding on a Friday during school hours.

It was raining so all attendees had to be inside, and there was still room for it to be enjoyable. The front porch is a beautiful addition and the back patio was a great place to escape from rain under the tent set up for the wedding. Since it is a historical building, it is not as accesible for those with mobility limitations as one might hope and the single bathroom was very busy, but overall the well-kept historical details and the charm of the house way outshine these minor inconveniences.
