Brunch: The Super Bowl
Claudia N.

They serve brunch every day until 3pm which is great because I love breakfast food but am not always hungry at breakfast time. Fast friendly service, casual, sports bar atmosphere. Lots of TVs.

Beers at the bar!

Great spot to watch a game or grab lunch! Several beer options on tap! Staff is great and good customer service. Wings are good! We tried the garlic parm and were a fan! Had the lunch special : half a club sandwich, fries and side salad. They have amazing fries so don't skimp on those. I've had their club sandwich before and it was okay, it's been better in the past. Their side salad is really good - much better than most places!

Cheesesteak and pretzel bites

An excellent sports-bar that lives up to the reputation. Atmosphere is friendly and buzzing. Tons of TVs everywhere to show lots of events. Pretzel bites and cheese sauce were amazing and the cheesesteak was great too (though I wish it was a bit larger). Definitely want to try a bunch of other items too! Could have just been that I went on a busy day, but it was weird to have to seat myself and wait for a server and menu. Didn't take too long though so not a big deal, just odd

It's SO LOUD. Thats the only con, besides being super busy! Thats a good problem to have though lol. Tonight's grub includes black bean burger and tots! The tots were out of this world! They had a seasoning that made them so so excellent - definitely recommend!! Black bean burger, it was ok - nothing to write home about, but I finished it all. I think the aioli was mayo - I might have not read it correct on the menu? Maybe it was supposed to be mayo and not aioli. I think the tots had more flavor than the burger. I'm ok with that and I'll be back and try something else! The tot-chos looked amazing that's gotta be my next grub there! I also had pinot grigio it was really refreshing would get again.

Cheese curds

Came in on a Sunday at 5:30. Several open tables. There are lots of tvs with different games playing. We ordered several different appetizers. Cheese curds were very good and not greasy. We got the nachos with bbq pork. They did not skimp on the toping and the bbq was very good. Good beer selection but be sure and ask your hostess about options as they had a couple that were not on the list. Taylor was our waitress and did an outstanding job. Will definitely be coming back.

Tots and chicken pecan wrap
Cheryl D.

We love Neighbors! The chicken pecan wrap is amazing and the tots are seasoned just right! If you want to get a seat be sure to avoid dining during major televised games as it is popular!

Service was good and the food was great! We were a large group: 6 adults, 2 teens, and 1 baby. Our server managed our large group with ease. I had the steak salad for my main course and we all shared the pickle chips as an appetizer. A few beers listed were not available, but we still ordered one we liked. Overall, a great sports bar and restaurant!

Beer on draft AND the game of your choice! Great combo~

It's behind Mellow Mushroom. You go down a hall and when it ends, pizza place to right and there is a door to the left. Look back in hallway and there is an electrical box. Open that and flip the switch for the green light to come on. The door opens and a very welcoming hostess lets you in. It's not a huge place but plenty of room to sit or stand and hang out with friends. We got there a little early so we grabbed 2 seats at the bar. This is where the magic happens. The bartenders there are talented mixologists. Dave was so nice and helpful. He taught me a Pina Colada is supposed to be on the rocks. It was fabulous! I also had 2 of the holiday drinks that were delicious. By far the best place to go for great cocktails. They also have a small and reasonably priced snack/bar food menu. Just an experience. It should be a must on the top of the to do list.

The only thing negative is that I did see the bartender use sparkling water to top off several of our drinks which did dilute them slightly. The food was odd...I was expecting a traditional buffalo chicken dip but instead it was cold. It's a fun time and something unique to do if in Franklin, TN.

The Pond is a self described dive bar located in a strip mall area in Franklin Tennessee…read more I like to patronize places that aren't chains and aren't super popular spots when I travel, as I enjoy being around common folks in areas that I go to. The Pond doesn't disappoint. It is exactly what one would expect when seeking a dive bar atmosphere. A little ratty, a little rowdy and a whole lot of fun. The coup de grace was they had Guinness on tap, which was completely unexpected. We traveled to Franklin looking for an alternative to Broadway in Nashville on our first night in town. It is worth the trip. Franklin is a very old town with great old architecture and buildings over 200 years old that still look stunning. The Pond was the real reason for my drive down although it was our last stop on our tour of Franklin. The staff was friendly, the Hamburger and fries was delicious, and the beer was cold. They have many options to choose from on tap. They have Darts inside and a couch you'd find down in your friends basement that he found on a tree bank trash day, but that simply adds to the dive bar charm. We stayed for one drink and the burger as we were exhausted from a red eye flight the night before. If you're looking for a dive bar that stays open late and apparently gets packed as the night goes on, this is the spot for you. Most places close early in Franklin, so this is apparently the after hours spot that everyone ends up going to when all other options are closed. The Pond reminded me of a few dive bar spots in Vegas, and I have to recommend you pay them a visit, if for no other reason, just to say you've been there.

We went early and snagged seats at the bar to kick things off with cocktails, which turned out to be a great move. The bar staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience feel welcoming right away. I started with an Old Fashioned made with Sazerac Rye--excellent. Smooth, well-balanced. In the summer months, the outdoor seating is a great option too. Once seated at our table, we dove into appetizers. There were four of us, so sharing was the name of the game. The White Truffle Garlic Bread was a standout--warm, aromatic, and downright addictive. We also ordered the Italian Meatballs (two per order), so naturally we got two orders. Big flavor, perfectly cooked, and definitely worth it. Add in the Wild Shrimp Scampi and the Calamari--both cooked just right--and we were off to a strong start. For my entrée, I went with the Ricotta Cavatelli. It was rich and comforting with just a subtle hint of lemon. I usually lean toward spicy dishes, so this was a departure for me, but as a crab lover, I really enjoyed it. That said, if you're looking for heat, this isn't the dish for you. We also had the Sunday Night Lasagna...on a Wednesday. Rules are meant to be broken. It was hearty, flavorful, and absolutely delivered. Dessert was a must--and North Italia did not disappoint. The Tiramisu is non-negotiable. The Salted Caramel Budino was so good. The Hazelnut Torta? Fantastic. And the Salted Caramel Gelato--just get it. Trust me. Last but definitely not least, our server Matt was amazing. Great personality, attentive without hovering, and really added to an already excellent experience. North Italia delivers great food, a fun atmosphere, and top-notch service. A place I'd happily return to again and again.

We stopped in while traveling through town and were excited to return. After being seated inside, we noticed a small ant on the table. It didn't seem like a big deal at first, so we removed it and continued with our meal. Our server was friendly, and the food itself was good. However, about halfway through, more ants started appearing--eventually over 10--crawling on the table and around our food. We informed our server, who notified management, but in the meantime we were trying to eat while dealing with ants around our plates. This visit was on March 31st around 6 pm. The manager eventually came over and said they were probably coming from the window, then asked if we would like to move and thanked us for being understanding. She also mentioned they wouldn't be seating anyone else at that table for the rest of the evening. At that point, we had nearly finished eating and didn't want to disrupt our three young children by moving. More importantly, the situation could have been handled differently. Rather than asking if we wanted to move, it would have felt more appropriate for her to take the lead and say something like, "Let me move you to another table," instead of putting it on us in a way that felt dismissive. When you're spending around $140 on a meal, you shouldn't have to deal with bugs on your table. A small gesture--like offering a complimentary dessert or otherwise acknowledging the inconvenience--would have gone a long way in making the experience feel handled with care.

We grabbed one of the small outdoor tables on a warm spring afternoon--perfectly shaded, great temperature, and honestly an ideal people-watching spot. I started with the Black Tie espresso martini. I had my eye on the Sunburnt, but since their espresso martinis typically include dairy (and I'm lactose intolerant), the bartender went above and beyond to accommodate me. They made a dairy-free version of the Black Tie and even added coconut--it was absolutely delicious. Jonathan went with the Summer Mule, which was everything you want in a mule with a tropical twist from the pineapple--light, crisp, and refreshing. But the second round is what completely sold us. Jonathan ordered the Double Oaked Old Fashioned--we were warned it was high proof and spirit-forward, which is exactly our style. It did not disappoint. I went with the Tea Time Old Fashioned, made with tea-infused whiskey, and it was everything I hoped for: reminiscent of a sweet tea bourbon, but more bourbon-forward and not overly sweet. Both drinks were dangerously good--we finished them way too quickly. They were unfortunately out of cheese for the charcuterie board, so we pivoted to the "Main Stream Mix" of nuts. Jonathan's official review: "underrated." Honestly, he's right--it was super flavorful and weirdly addictive for a nut mix. The staff were incredibly friendly, and there was even live music playing inside. It was the perfect volume--more of a background vibe than a full performance--so we could easily carry on a conversation without having to shout over it, which made the experience even better. Overall, such a great experience--we wouldn't hesitate to come back!

As closing time approached, things understandably felt a bit more hurried, but we still appreciated the atmosphere and the quality of the drinks. A nice spot for a casual nightcap, just plan to arrive a little earlier than closing.
