Big shout out to Parker for helping me to "walk away" with two great pairs of Hokas! Also love that they are supporting local schools (Patriot and Battlefield) by selling branded merchandise! read more

In times when we buy everything online I decided to shop small in my local running shoes store. Unfortunately after less than 2 months wearing my new HOKA tennis shoes, they got somehow holes and I contacted the store to let them know and ask if it was a "normal wear and tear" bc I never had an issue like this before. To my surprise, I ended up meeting the owner Ian. People, he was totally AWESOME. From day one to the end, he took care of me. He emailed and text me many times keeping me in the loop about his conversation with the HOKA's sales person. It was not the store fault at all. It was an issue with HOKA. He could have just said, sorry, it's been 3 months and not my store fault. Instead, he went above and beyond. Seriously! Today, I went back to the store get my new pair. Unfortunately he was not there so I could thank him in person but for sure he got a client for life. read more

On April 26, 2024, I finally decided to give The Running Store an opportunity to impress me. They did not disappoint. I felt at peace in their clean, comfortable and well stocked store. One of their employees, Mr. Parker, took excellent care of me , right away. He helped me pick out two pairs of Hokas that I eventually bought based on my foot scans! They are the most comfortable shoe to date I have bought. I use one pair for the gym and one for everyday use. I suffer from tremendous foot pain at times. Mr. Parker made some recommendations that I will use from now on. He was right in his assessments and I am thankful! I also joined their club membership which offers a great discount for returning customers. I usually blow off these types of offers but he picked out the best shoes for me! I will be building up my inventory of those great shoes: the Hoka. Lastly, the birthday discount, Parker, offered me was a nice touch. The price of the shoes is worth every dollar of comfort. The 15% discount makes them more affordable. read more

As soon as we walked in, Alisa greeted us and asked how she could help us. She immediately explained the process of scanning our feet to find our exact fit. She then proceeded to bring us different shoes for our needs. When I discovered the pair I liked, she brought out every single color selection they had for me to look at. She helped my husband order the ones he liked and found him an in stock pair he liked as well. She was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She made the shoe buying process not only informative but also enjoyable. My husband bought the membership because we knew we would be back, mainly due to the amazing customer service! read more

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! It's been a long time since I have purchased a pair of running shoes and decided that it was time to buy a pair, since I survived my FIRST 5k this past weekend in old sneakers. I was warmly greeted by the NICEST associate in any store that I have ever met. Sam was happy to help, and my goodness... HE WAS SO PATIENT, too!!! Although I could go back to my usual sneaker brand, Sam was kind enough to take the time to re-check my gait to ensure that I would be wearing the correct shoe. He then pulled out a number of shoes for me to try on, just in case I found one that I liked better than the one I had purchased previously. Finally, he educated me on the benefit of insoles and had me try on different ones until I found the right combination of insole AND sneaker! I loved Sam's thoroughness, kindness, and patience! He was the perfect associate to help me find the right sneakers to wear. He took his time in educating and helping me find the correct shoe for my needs. I guess it's never too late for a 50+ year old woman to start running! read more

Great customer service! Friendly and knowledgeable! Really appreciate the time and patience. LOVE our new shoes (and socks)! We will be back. Thank you Ian read more

I needed a new pair of running shoes and had honestly never bought a really nice pair before. Sam patiently and kindly helped me consider my options. After getting my foot analysis, he was extremely knowledgeable in the different style shoes and the brands to help me narrow my choices. As I tried on each pair (and then each pair again), Sam was my personal assistant answering any and all questions and giving me his full attention, from the very start of where to begin all the way to ringing me up with my wonderful pair of shoes. I ended up with a pair of Hokas that I have loved all these months later. I'm so grateful to Sam for his patience, his knowledge and his attentiveness to my need for something to soften the impact on my knees. I will definitely visit this store again for my next pair of shoes. read more

Don't walk. Run to this store! Lol sorry, had to say that! My husband needed running shoes and we were planning to go to Dick's but last minute decided to stop in. We were immediately approached by Alisa and she scanned his feet. Impressed by the machine, I decided to scan my ultra wide feet as well. Alisa then proceeded to bring out plenty of options for both our needs and we ultimately walked away with 2 new running shoes that fit perfectly! They didn't have my husbands size at the store and Alisa ordered it for him to be shipped to our house. We left feeling so satisfied with our shopping experience and didn't anticipate the level of customer service, how knowledgeable, and accommodating she was. We even became pro members and hope to come here for our future running needs! read more

Ask for Parker! He's so patient and helpful. Helped me find what I came in for and saved me some money by signing up for the membership

My running days are over, but my wife and I want good quality shoes that fit correctly. TRS has always been our go-to store because of the technology they use to scan your feet and determine pressure points, how you stand, and the best fit. Plus, I love Hokas, and sure, I could get them cheaper at Amazon, but how would I ensure the best fit. TRS has always had a good staff for helping find shoes, and this time we had Parker. Not only was he very knowledgable and low-pressure (which I appreciate), but he had a dry wit that made it fun as well. We "walked" away very satisfied, and maybe some day we will "run" back in for more. read more

I was in need of orthotics due to a recent surgery. Alisa took the time to understand my training goals and the likes/dislikes I had about my former shoes. She performed a computerized scan and analysis of my feet, including the various pressure points. She suggested several shoes that could meet my needs and allowed me to try them out on a treadmill. I left very happy with my new running shoes. They are lighter and more comfortable than I imagined possible. Truly a five star experience. read more

Run don't walk to this store. As a couple in our fifties sore feet, back issues are on the rise. We stopped in just to see what they offered. After a foot scan performed by Kellie (ask for her she's great) she fitted us in some great shoes and inserts based on arches ect. I kind of felt bad we tried on like 10 pairs but she didn't care, she was there to make sure we left with the perfect shoes. Oh and we could return them if we didn't like them even after using (we won't of course) . Highly recommend this store. read more

Another outstanding experience at TRS. Alisa provided excellent service by first measuring the characteristics of my feet in the machine, then by combining those measurements with my responses to activity/athletic lifestyle questions to identify the best types of shoes for me. We tried on a bunch of different shoe combinations, and she patiently waited while I did test runs around the block, before closing in on the best shoe. I just finished a 10k training run in my new shoes and it felt great. I couldn't be happier with this experience and will definitely return for my next set of shoes! read more
