Came here for a friends event. Nice location and rooms. Parking was fine for us. But if it was a very big event, I don't see how there's enough parking. Food was 3.5/5 - the burgers good, nachos good. The rest were okay. Drinks - 2/5 No mocktails for ones looking for non alcoholic drinks like myself while I'm pregnant. I was quite disappointed they only offered sodas, lemonades and water. They didn't really have any suggestions for a mocktail nor a menu. I think for a nice hotel bar, I was expecting more options. They had live music on their patio Friday night and the singer was great.

This is a cute little bar in the property of the ruby hotel in downtown round rock.Cute , small bar, along the river bend. great ambiance with romantic light& relaxed seating in the entryway, seating in the main area, as well as the outdoor patio. parking is limited. Great selection of cocktails! all starting around 14$. I order the strawberry fields which was delicious but small for the price point. we paid $40 on 2 drinks. Disappointing part for me was the food options- not very vegatarian friendly for the evening menu so we had 1 drink and left. Bartenders were nice and attentive.

Do not sleep on the strawberry fields drink! It is great! They also serve yummy appetizers! I got the pulled pork tacos and my friends got the fig pizza and the Cuban sandwich. They said both were tasty as well! The service was efficient, there was a male and a female bartender who were attentive and helpful with ordering our food. I will be back with my husband and possibly other friends to try other drinks and items to eat! The ambiance was nice, it had a charming vibe but I would change the musty smell. It's an older building and I have a sensitive nose. I was also told they make a really great Old Fashioned which I will for sure be getting next time!

We stayed at The Ruby for one night this weekend. I wish we could have stayed longer, as we really enjoyed our stay. From check in to check out, the experience was stellar. I loved the modern and bright feel of the room. The bed was comfortable and the views of the creek made the experience even better. Waking up we saw cows resting near the water and going to bed we saw egrets nesting. The bar next door was a fun spot to have an Old Fashioned. The weather was perfect and we sat outside on the patio and then ventured inside for some live music. Service was friendly. Next time we are in the area we will stay here again!

Upon arrival we were meet with smiling and welcome faces. Check was easy and getting into the hotel room was easy with a key pad, so no need to remember a card. They sent the code to our phones. The room was bare bones, mini fridge with items to purchase and snacks on the table. A nespresso machine with the cups and creamer included. The room didn't have a couch which I was a bit sad about since we were here to just hang out with friends we hadn't seen in a good while. The bar is cute and quant. We ate lunch and dinner there. The turkey club was great and the salad was tasty was well, they used a vinaigrette on the salad. The vibe inside was cozy and they still had their Christmas decorations up which I loved. When we returned for happy hour it was a bit some crowded, so we sat outside. The manager noticed and turned the fire pit on and another heater for us, which was very nice. We got the popcorn which was good, I just wish it had some seasoning. The garden of Eden drink was excellent, nice and light and refreshing. We also got the nachos which were great with a generous amount of chicken. The BBQ bacon burger was good, I wish for more sauce, but that's just me. Service overall was excellent. I'd highly recommend coming here and hope to return soon!

Amazing staffed served our group all night. We were there from 6:30-9:00. This was such an awesome dinner location, hanging out on the patio was so relaxing and the food was amazing. Thank you for the fantastic evening!

The patio at the Ruby is such a beautiful, peaceful spot to enjoy a meal and time with friends. There is comfortable seating and umbrellas for shade. The tacos were very good and filling. The prices are reasonable.

Sunset from our balcony

The staff is friendly, hotel room was very clean and large and you cannot beat the view! Highly recommend. Close to lots of restaurants and shops as well.

The reason for our visit is their month-long Star Wars pop-up that started 5/4/26 (of course). They nailed it in every sense of the imagination from themed drinks (alcohol and n/a) to the interior and exterior decor. Hoot & Annie is currently The Mos Eisley Cantina. And, it is! It's as though we've been transformed from this town that's about 20 minutes from Austin to the actual Mos Eisley Cantina. My boyfriend is a huge Star Wars nerd and absolutely loves it. I'm a fan and a supporter and dig it. It's literally the next best thing to Galaxy's Edge. No joke. We love it here and we'll be back even during non-Star Wars times!

Located off Anderson Mill in the corner of a strip mall is a bookshelf with a door on the right side. If you cannot figure out the entrance, there is a doorbell to ring as well. I believe it is owned by the same people who own The Mill bar right next door, which makes it feel like a cool bonus space. My friend and I sat next to a faux fireplace, where we were greeted by the only bartender working and placed our order. Once he opened the tab, it was disappointing that he never came back to check if we wanted another drink. It wasn't super busy on the Monday we went, but since he was the only one manning the bar, the bartender was always doing something, so I don't blame him fully for not checking back in with us. I ordered a drink called the Velvet Vice. It looked nothing like the picture and tasted similar to an Aviation cocktail with egg whites. I happened to really like it. It is a very relaxed space, but once the speakeasy gimmick wears off, it does not have much else going for it. It is still a cool place, but I am not sure it was worth the lengthy drive to get there. Food Quality This Latino fusion spot truly delivers on…read moreflavor and creativity. The Bichota cocktail was a standout--sweet, refreshing, and with just enough of a kick to keep you sipping slowly. The Old Fashioned was equally impressive: sweet yet balanced, served in a stylish glass with a unique holder that made the experience feel elevated. For food, the chicharrón with fried yuca and tostones was perfection. The pork was fried to a crisp golden shell without being greasy, and seasoned just right--not too salty, but enough to make every bite crave-worthy. The yuca and tostones were cut to the perfect thickness for even cooking, with a satisfying crunch outside and tender inside, especially when dipped into their garlicky sauce. The cheese sticks are an absolute must-have--crispy outside, oozy inside, and dangerously addictive. And the arepas? Exceptionally good--stuffed with beans, cheese, beef, and sweet plantains for that perfect salty-sweet balance. Every plate showed attention to texture, seasoning, and presentation. Price Considering the quality of ingredients, creative plating, and generous portions, the prices felt fair for a fusion dining experience. The cocktails were crafted with care and worth every penny. Appetizers could easily be shared, making it easy to get variety without breaking the bank. Environment We sat outside and it was amazing for groups, dates, and inside it is super cool. The décor is not fancy but really fun Austin style. There is a section bar where they play music which I want to try. Service The service was cool and amicable. It looks the server was new but he did give recommendations. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great pairing suggestions. Dishes came out at a good pace, and drinks were refreshed quickly. You could tell the staff was proud of the food they were serving, which made the whole experience even better. Overall: If you're looking for a place where Latin flavors meet creative execution, this spot is worth the visit. Come hungry, order a mix of small plates, and don't skip the cocktails--or the garlic sauce.

With my girlfriend coming into town, I knew it was the perfect chance. We booked a reservation ahead of time using OpenTable, and even though we showed up late, the owners Lawrence and Rachel were immediately friendly and accommodating to us. Located at the Affordable Storage shopping center just north of Hutto, Grapes & Rye is so comfortable inside that you don't even think about it being a converted storage unit. There's plenty of seating for parties of different sizes and chairs that are welcoming and comfortable for long visits. Their menu is impressively expansive with a seasonal fall menu and a regular menu packed with specialty cocktails, classics, and all the liquor needed to make anything you can think of. We were served water immediately once we sat down, which felt very inviting and made me feel welcomed in their space. On their big TV was the Wizards playing the Cavs, and there was the pinnacle of New Jack Swing and R&B playing inside. It was already a fantastic vibe. While we were debating our drinks, Lawrence came by, asked us what we liked, and made picks for us that we trusted. For me, he suggested an Aviation made with gin and maraschino liqueur that was practically glowing when placed in front of me. After my first sip, I patted myself on the back for a drink I didn't even choose. He nailed my preferences perfectly, and on top of that, the drink was one of the most refreshing and well-balanced cocktails I have ever had. As for my girlfriend, she was suggested a Vierre Caureux that she really seemed to enjoy. Our tastes in drinks are pretty different, but we both were very satisfied with Lawrence's suggestions. This led to us asking them about their origins and learning that Grapes & Rye is a passion project of theirs built on their love of bartending and cocktails. They do such a good job that it's hard not to imagine them doing it full time. We hung out for quite a while savoring our beverages before ordering another round. I ordered their Negroni that was easily one of the best Negronis I have ever had. It's so vividly impressive that I immediately want them catering all future events I go to, and I want to see them cater my wedding in like three years time. It's that good. My girlfriend got a Pink Lychee Spritz which she kept saying to me "that's really good" over and over again, showing that it wasn't just me who was impressed by their cocktail mastery. Next time she's in town, I know we'll be back because the drinks here are truly on a different plane of existence. Grapes & Rye has surpassed cocktail hour and become a cocktail experience, making beverages that are next level. They deserve all the success in the world, and it couldn't happen to a better duo. It reminded me of how they do this in cooking shows to save time and you can see at a glance all what goes into making a particular cocktail. The class was informative but also really fun. It was very special to have such an engaging experience. I felt among friends at their home. I felt their passion to make tasty imaginative drinks for others to enjoy.
