I was told to keep watering it and it will come back, otherwise it is under warranty. I didnt relize you had to revive new grass, though it should show up alive. Also as i explained multiple times to management at Sierra Sod, warranties are for products that lack defection when purchased or delivered. Otherwise it is a defective product which cannot be sold as new or acceptable. I was told the grass is stressed when it is cut at the field,and needs to be watered to have it revive. Never did recover (got worse from the pics) and I was forced to pay to have someone remove and replace. Fortunatetely enought I was given contact information by Verizon Landscaping Material in Vacaville, for a number of landscape installers in the area, who all highly recommended not using Dixon Sod/Park Avenue due to inconsistent product, and recommended we go with Delta Blue. Every landscape contractor we contacted had similar advice. I have emailed multiple times and have yet to recieve a response. Only text from outside sales, but management has ignored me. Cost me 1100 for grass, 500 (% of total work) installed and then 500 to have it removed in order to start over. I was only asking for a refund on the direct cost of grass when in fairness Sierra Sod should be accoutable for replacement cost. Do you homework and be very clear on what is considered exceptable. If you dont have something in writing and even photo examples of acceptable, its amazing how defintions change. If you want a quality product go to a place that specializes in what you are after. I gave Sierra SOD a 1 star only because it doesnt offer a 0.

I know that with my order the sod is extremely fresh and makes for an easy install. I placed my order the day before for 300sqft of Dwarf Fescue. Paying over the phone was extremely easy and didn't even have to go inside as they are taking serious precautions with COVID. I paid ~.75¢/sqft with tax. So my total was $230. In comparison, we were looking originally at Lowe's where they charged $1.03/sqft. Though it does not seem like that big of a difference this could add up when you are covering large areas. The employee who loaded the sod to the back of my truck was extremely quick and efficient. I had a great experience and I HIGHLY recommend this spot!

I called him to come here to check it out the best way to do that and to check what he needs and how much will cost. He came and gave me the instructions about what he thinks was the best way to do that and he said my hose needs to be fixed and he gave me the price for all the service. Before i say to him I want to do the service I asked him if everything will be hidden because of my dog and because I don't want anything exposed and ugly. He said yes and said only the feeder tube will be exposed but everything else hidden. We did an appointment. He came and my son paid him because I was at work. First of all he did not gave us any receipt for the payment!!! Even after I asked him to do that because I need to show the landlord. And worse of that, when I came home and checked his service I saw that he did not fix the hose and everything is leaking now. (I asked him to come back to fix it and he said that is not his business. How?? How he will install a sprinkler without leave that working?!) And more of all this, he left everything ridiculously ugly and exposed and I think he did not put the right thing because the water is coming crazy! I tried to contact him and he said it's not his business and his service was done. Like I said, how someone come, check, say what he needs to INSTALL A SPRINKLER SYSTEM and after that say that if it's leaking is not his business????? Then, he said he will come to do "by his heart" but gave me a lot excuses and never came. Now, he blocked me and I cannot contact him anymore! I'm pregnant and very mad right now.
