Kiera helped me today with my EB Stone Compost...love that stuff. She was friendly, helpful, and very kind. Thank you Kiera! I just came in for soil but purchased more plants because of you! Large selection of plants, soil, pots, and other garden supplies. Love that they are open until 6. read more

I really wanted to like Sweet Peas but during the last visit, I was made to wait a couple of mins while the cashier talked to her friend before she acknowledged me. And then continued to talk to her friend while helping me. No one else was in the shop. It was really awkward and did not make me want to come back, especially when there are so many other nurseries to visit in Vacaville. read more

I brought in a house plant that desperately needed repotting. I brought in the pot and they did a great job repotting. I highly recommend.

Chloe was awesome .....she showed me a few medium sized house plants in my price range. Saw so many plants I want in the future. I love they are local and organic plants. They had 3 beautiful kittens up for adoption that my guy fell in love with and played with them while I shopped and checked out. We plan to get 2 siblings on we move out to Vacaville in September or so. I'm sure they wiybe gone soon because they were so affordable. I will be going back soon! read more

I'm in love with this place. Their staff is incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly. ALL of their plants are organic, which is a huge plus for me. They have a wonderful variety of succulents/cacti, spring vegetables, flowers, and indoor house plants. On top of all that, they have an amazing selection of pots and adorable garden decorations. They also have pet supplies, which I haven't shopped much for. I am so glad to have Sweet Pea's in town! You have a dedicated customer over here. read more

This place is simply amazing! The name Sweet Pea's is such a perfect name for this very sweet place. I tried growing my veggie plants from seed and it x didn't go well I went to Sweet Peas and purchased all my veggie plants. Everything was very healthy, reasonably priced. I went again this week to get more and to ask questions about how to make these pesky bugs stop eating my basil! The sweet lady their told me exactly the product to get that would be safe around my dogs. I loved the personal interest and knowledge they have that you simply will not get ANYWHERE ELSE read more

Impressed by this nursery! Came in to get a gift for someone in grief. Was looking for something low maintenance so stumbled upon this cactus nursery. Honestly was just expecting cactuses but found myself in amazement at their spring plant starters, but in awe at their selection of house plants!! Beauties galore. Variegated peace lilies, black antheriums, and even simple philodendron cordatums. Everything was well kept. Employee was amazing, even helped me find and tie a nice bow around the plant once she realized it was a gift. Can't wait to come back here! read more

This place is adorable! The owner is so nice and spent a lot of time telling me all the great reasons I should make the move to Vacaville I'm considering. From the pet supplies and the the succulents to the cool unique gifts they have this is one place you want to stop in if your in the area. read more

I was looking for a local nursery to purchase several bags of potting soil. Came inside the store on a Friday afternoon, two women were at the register, I stood there waiting for them to finish so I could ask them a questions about the potting soil. Neither of them made eye contact or acknowledged my presence. After 5 minutes, I decided to leave since I assume they didn't want my business. If they were busy, they could have simply acknowledge my presence and ask me to wait. If they were closed, they could have told me so. Thankfully I was able to go to another nursery at Morningsun Herb Farm and purchased a trunk full of potting soil! read more

New to the area, I was looking for dog food for my doxies. A nice young lady showed me where the dog food was. Great prices as well. I also bought some raw bones also great price. The young lady was so sweet and helpful I believe she was about 16. Very talkative and helpful. read more

I like this place because it's different! You're going to get things that are more beautiful and not the usual Home Depot/Lowe's sort of plants. I'm tired of being bored with my garden! read more

I love and (hate) coming here..... hate cuz I always end up buying more that I planned too :-p lol.... So you see my pit lab will tear through all his chew toys so quickly, making it hard to find him something that will last longer than normal. Everytime I come here, I find plenty of chew toys and then treats :-p. For a small place they are not over priced, if anything I say the prices are quite reasonable (always a good thing) all the staff I've ever interacted with has been friendly, helpful and nice. The place is kept clean and organized. All in all they have a good selection and good prices and friendly staff worth coming here read more

Brenna the owner is RUDE, it amazes me that a woman of her age that owns two businesses can be very rude, if you want to have customers keep coming back, I'd suggest not to be rude with your customers and not snotty. They don't allow returns or exchanges on plants, i just purchased arugula the other day and it already flowered... I'm sorry but your business is doing just fine, you're not going to lose money over $5. I do not recommend this company, and I do not support this small business! read more

The staff knows my name as I walk in the door. This is the lost art of customer service. Kudos to all that work here and take the time and effort to make that connection with their customers. Thanks to the owners who teach this gold standard of "How to win Friends and influence people" to their employees. It just puts a smile on your face when you are recognized and appreciated for supporting a local business and local family. This is a great place for all your animal needs. Farmer Ben read more

They triple charged me for each item. A few herbs, 2 tomato cages and a bag of dirt cost $165! I don't think so Make sure you keep them in check when ringing you up. They type in their prices and don't even offer a receipt. $39 for a small plastic $8 planter.. yikes read more

What does community mean to you? To the owners of Sweet Pea's and Western Ranch it means quality service, variety in products, giving back, and providing it all at competitive prices. Over 5 years of working with and shopping at either store I have found the staff to be well informed, friendly, accommodating, and pleasant. In crisis, their locations are the first to collect items for those in need, arrange drop offs, and make sure the people in their community are cared for. At the best times, they are fostering relationships with other small businesses and nonprofits. One of those is Super Furiends Rescue, who they have helped do 30 adoptions for this year! Last year they did over 200 for the Solano Animal Shelter. During these times, they provide exceptional service and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. read more

My husband and I came in months ago and arranged to order ~30 plants to landscape our backyard with a variety of succulents. We sent an email with our selections as previously suggested with the store owner/manager and never received a reply to our email. We decided to go for a drive on Valentine's Day. When we arrived the place was not that busy, but we were quickly dismissed by the lady who i will assume was the manager and told to come a different day. We mentioned the email we sent. She quickly checked her email, told us it went to spam and shrugged it off. Then she said she could not help us because it's their busy day being vday and all. We turned and left the nursery because she basically asked us to. We wanted to support small business during this time for our project but will probably just order our plants online. read more

I used to love this store, especially around holiday time. But I do not understand how, with a pandemic raging, they do not show respect for their customers by wearing a mask. Wearing a mask protects others, so your actions tell me you do not care about others. I won't be coming back to shop here. read more

These guys are awesome! We visited their Christmas tree lot in search of the perfect tree; the staff here immediately greeted us and began to show us trees that they thought would be a good fit for our vision we had. None were really fitting that vision until they took us over to the tree they were right in the middle of decorating for their pet photo event the next day. It was love at first sight; it was the perfect tree! The guys even offered to untrim the tree and let us take it that night, but I didn't want to create more work for them, so we arranged to prepay for the tree and pick it up after the event. The whole process from picking out the tree to getting it home was quick and easy and the staff was amazing at assisting us every step of the way! Kudos to your team for excellent customer service! We will be returning next year for our tree and we'll definitely be back to check out all your pet goodies! read more
