A picture of the grinder purchase that I could find no help or receiving information on
Beth H.

Nobody to go help in the tools section I walked around the section for about 10 minutes. I then left and went to another department and asked for a person to be called to help me in the grinder section on aisle 17. I heard the announcement loud and clear across the store PA I wait another 10 minutes and ask another department again. I hear a clear request for help on aisle 17 with grinders . I did have a gentleman announce himself as Manuel to. Please call him Manny. He was not dressed in any kind of insignia as being a Home Depot employee he said that he would absolutely help me when he saw I was looking at grinders. He shouted to another gentleman who was a distributor for another type of grinder. This person was trying to help me, but he didn't know the Dewalt grinder system, and didn't know if there was a tool that would help me take the wheels on and off again no help whatsoever from the store. Finally I approached self check out. I asked one of the ladies to please call me the manager. A gentleman who said he was one of the store managers named 'Red' came and identified himself as one of the store managers. He said he wasn't sure why nobody came up and that was too bad that happened. I ask who the GM of the store was and I was told his name Brian . But I was also told he was too busy walking around the store looking at inventory to deal with customers who are not being helped. Clearly they have lots of managers, but none of them managing. I definitely would avoid this Home Depot. It was just so conveniently located off the freeway on my way to Sacramento that I thought I would grab something I needed. What a mistake. Looks like they have all the products one could want just no help in purchasing them

I'm still in the hunt for this yellow flower on top.
E L.

Bought the blue and red variety of these wind turning flowers and they add such a pop of color to my yard without having to water, fertilize or trim them like regular flowers. Such a good value for less than $6. each, I'm now wishing I picked up the yellow one. But the lady at the garden center said I should return or call to see if they may get a shipment for Spring or Summer time. I've picked up quite a few cactus succulent type of plants at Home Depot and all 5 of them are thriving neatly nine months later. I highly recommend their garden center for your outdoor pots as well.

My daughter's lollipop

Second time experiencing 5 star service. Outstanding Customer Service from Mannic at Home Depo. I had such an amazing experience at this Home Depot, and I have to take a moment to highlight one exceptional employee -- Mannic. Before he even clocked in, I had just parked in the lot across from the cart area when he kindly offered to grab me a cart. I told him I was okay, but I was honestly touched -- no one has ever done that for me at any store before. It was such a thoughtful gesture and set the tone for the rest of my visit. When I went to check out, there he was again! He smiled and said, "I see you found some plants -- how was the garden area? Was it too packed?" I told him it was perfect and appreciated him asking. Then, to my surprise, he asked if he could buy my daughter a lollipop. I said it was totally fine if it was okay with him, and he insisted, saying he'd love to. That small act of kindness absolutely made our day. This is only my second time visiting this Home Depot, and both times have been nothing short of wonderful. You can truly tell that this store hires people who care about their customers. Thank you, Home Depot, for having such an incredible team -- and a huge shout-out to Mannic for going above and beyond with genuine kindness and heart.

Window's Coverings (Blinds)
Chris H.

I purchased $1,200.00 dollars of windows covering for my rental property from Home Depot from your Vacaville CA Store. Janice assisted me showing me a host of blinds. It was clear that she is subject-expert because days she was off, other reps at HD were unsure and suggested I should return when Janice returns back to work. Home Depot is receiving (5) stars for Janice in-depth knowledge of blind's products and suggesting what works best for customers.

Poor quality installers that are unskilled. Hire a licensed contractor that employed state certified Journeyman as required by law.

Happy to report that this store has finally entered the 21st century and now has Apple Pay. So much better / easier. Thank you.

Ask the Community - The Home Depot

Can I shop here with my dog?

Yes, both Home Depot Loews are pet friendly. I have taken all three of my dogs in multiple times. In fact one of the greeters is extremely nice and loves dogs and has treats on hand. Keep this in mind if your dog has allergies or food sensitivities.…

I bought one that was compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S24 and after purchase they offered to replace my old protector with the new one I bought. Turns out I actually needed one for the Galaxy S24 FE version which was my mistake. When staff searched for the one that I needed, they could not find one in stock. So I wasn't able to purchase one and my money was promptly refunded. It's a bummer that I couldn't find the screen protector for my phone, but I do appreciate the staff assistance.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE: NEVER TRUST GEEK SQUAD WITH IPHONE REPAIRS…read more Even though they are an authorized Apple service provider, dealing with the Geek Squad at this Vacaville location for an iPhone warranty repair has been an incredibly frustrating, incompetent mess from start to finish. I dropped my phone off on 8/16. I had already completed all advanced troubleshooting myself (restore and DFU mode) to fix a boot loop unsuccessfully. The Geek Squad agent, Abraham, couldn't get it to work either, so he determined the device needed to be shipped to an Apple service center. He did warn me that the turnaround would be 3-5 business days and that all my data would be wiped. If I could do it all over again, I would have walked out right then and gone straight to an official Apple Store. Why? For starters, Geek Squad does absolutely nothing except act as a useless middleman to ship your phone away. Unlike an actual Apple Store, Best Buy doesn't provide a loaner device, which left me digitally stranded without a phone for a full 10 days. Had I known they were just going to mail it out and let it drag on, I would have handled the shipping to the service center myself to avoid this massive delay and inconvenience. Instead of the promised 3-5 business days, the process took a full 10 days. According to official carrier tracking, the repaired phone was physically delivered back to the store and signed for by a Best Buy employee named Roman on 8/24 at 10:29 AM. Yet, when I went to the store two days later, they claimed they didn't have it. They tried to give me the runaround, making up nonsense excuses about needing to call Apple and have them provide a "new serial number". After I spent hours trying to call the store (Best Buy does not route any of the calls to the actual store), and escalated the issue to Apple Support to demand accountability, the store finally called me back with an excuse claiming the phone was "misdelivered to the PetSmart next door." Absolute BS. A courier doesn't drop off a secure, signature-required Apple service shipment at a pet store. They clearly just misplaced it in their own house and lied to cover up their internal tracking mess. To top it off, Apple swapped out the logic board, so my data is completely gone. At least that is one thing I can't blame the store for, but definetly some poopy icing on an already decaying cake. Geek Squad's internal logistics are a total joke, their communication is nonexistent, and their customer service is built entirely on excuses. Save yourself the massive headache and go straight to an actual Apple Store or handle the mail-in process yourself directly. Best Buy repairs plain suck, and I am staying away from Geek Squad for good.
