I just want to give a shout-out to a local florist for the FABULOUS arrangement they created! A family member from out of town sent me these flowers, and I have to say this is one of the most beautiful arrangements I've ever received. Every bloom is fresh, vibrant, and thoughtfully arranged. I wasn't home when they were delivered, but the driver went above and beyond. They tucked the flowers into a shady spot on my porch so they wouldn't get scorched in the heat, and even used a couple of my Amazon packages to stabilize the vase so it wouldn't tip over. Thank you, Good Scents Florist on Main Street in Oakley, for not only creating such a gorgeous bouquet but also for taking such great care to make sure it arrived in perfect condition. Outstanding customer service from start to finish! read more

There was an highly unfortunate loss in our family and I wanted to get out some flowers to the parents. I called this place and spoke with a very nice gentleman (Unfortunately I forgot his name) I had called pretty late to try and order flowers the same day. As he said the earliest they can deliver is tomorrow. I explained the situation and asked is there anyway you can deliver today? He then said "Yes of course. Just find what you like and let us know." I did. And wow they are beautiful flowers. Following will be a photo however that doesn't do them justice and mind you the pic of the flowers is two days after delivery. I highly recommend this business! Thank you for being so kind in a difficult time read more

Came in for some last minute loose roses for a memorial and found some great looking long stem roses here. At $5 each it added up but they were beautiful. Later we actually came back for another arrangement for a gift and found gorgeous pink bouquet with a nice selection of mixed flowers. The shop workers were friendly and had some cute things around. They asked me immediately if they could help me put together anything. It was a good find for quick beautiful flowers. read more

Let this be your warning to go to another florist. My son needed a corsage for Jr prom. Bring in Good Scents florist, since this is our local flower shop. Shop where you live right? Never again will I bother spending my money there. My son picked this up at 1:00 PM today. By 4:00 PM today this is what it looked like. This was exactly $59.81. I am at a loss for words. It would have been not only better looking but less expensive for me to walk in and buy 4 roses at our local grocery store and a $5 roll of ribbon. Where is the cost of $50+ dollars in this presentation? read more

Ordered an Urn Memorial arrangement only 2 days before the service. I had tried online Florists only to be called twice by actual florists saying that they couldn't fill my order that was sent to them because they didn't have the flowers. I then searched for Florists in my city and I found "Good Scents". I gave them a call and they were more than Happy to help. The arrangement was beautiful and I was able to pick it up when promised. The price was comparable to the others if not better. Thank you all at Good Scents. read more

I have been purchasing flowers from Good Scents for almost 3 years. When my mother passed away in 2019, my sister and I wanted yellow and lavender roses, which were our mother's favorites. The bouquet to put at the gravesite, was perfect. We order from Good Scents several times a year for flowers for our mom's gravesite. Each time the flowers are fresh and exactly what we need. Since I live in Idaho, Steve will take my order over the phone and my sister will pick them up when I am not in town. He does a great job picking out yellow and purple flowers if we decide not to etc just roses. It's very comforting to know my mom's gravesite always looks beautiful. read more

I ordered directly from them online because I wanted somewhere local. It turns out that the floral arrangement was in fact delivered to my client as expected. Unfortunately, I did not like the fact that there was no notification of delivery and it would be wonderful to see the final product that was delivered. I have no idea what it looked like and had to embarrassingly call my client to see if they ever received it. read more

From Middle School Formals, To Prom, To Now My Wedding Good Scents Has Always Been The Place For All My Florist Needs. After months of planning my wedding I completely forgot that I needed flowers for the big day. With only a little less then a month to spare I walked into Good Scents with not much hope i would be getting half the pieces i needed due to the time crunch. Not only did they deliver 1 centerpiece, 1 stunning Bouquet, 10 Boutonnieres, and 6 buddies of baby's breathe, they completely threw it out of the park with the quality and freshness of all the pieces in such little time. Their customer service was impeccable, being a younger bride I didn't know what to expect or request, and they were so patient and directed me towards my dream bouquet that literally stayed fresh till after my honeymoon. I am totally privileged to say I had a good scents floral piece at every special event & birthday in my life from middle school to now. Being unusually busy, I sadly didn't plan for my daughter-in-law's birthday. I live out of state, and she had just moved to Oakley. When her birthday reminder popped up on my iPhone, I was unable to do anything about it until late in the afternoon (somewhere between 3 @ 4 p.m.) I called a florist in Oakley who said it was too late to deliver. When I asked if there were any florist's in Oakley who might be able to still deliver, they referred me to Good Scents. The gentleman I spoke to was wonderful, and my DIL received a lovely arrangement that same afternoon, saving my behind from much regret as I really love my DIL and would hate to hurt her feelings by not acknowledging her special day. THANK YOU, Good Scents, for doing what you do extremely well!! I will be using you more in the years to come. :) read more

I wanted to send get well flower arrangments to my aunt in Rio Vista. I called and researched florists in and around Rio Vista and was unlucky. Some didn't have the style I was looking for, and others had very few options. I called florists in Fairfield and Vacaville, and they said Rio vista was too far. Luckily, I found good scents in Oakley. They were kind enough to do the delivery as long as the flowers purchased was over $120. So I placed the order, and the flowers arrived a few days later. My aunt cried when she received the delivery. It was massive, beautiful, and worth every single dollar and more. I wish I had a real picture of it but the pic attached is the smaller version of the one I sent. The flower arrangement purchased was 3X bigger than this picture as so my aunt said. Well, I guess I didn't need a photo to see how it looked because her tears of joy said it all over the phone. Thank you Good Scents! I will definitely use your service again! read more

Called on a late Thursday for an arrangement on a Sunday. They are closed on Sundays and we were coming from out of town camping until Sunday for a celebration of life. I had nowhere to store the flowers for the service on Sunday. Steve was so kind and met me at the shop Sunday in the morning. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and stayed fresh. We were placing them in the river as a send off and they made sure we had more carnations so everyone was able to place a flower at the celebration. They came out more beautiful than on the website. So pleased and happy with the excellent service and product this floral shop puts our. Thank you! read more

I am so glad I found such a wholesome flower shop for my wedding. I don't know the husband and wife's name but they are an amazing combo that we're always quick to make any changes, actually called me back when they said they would, and had the best customer service. I can't believe how beautiful my flowers turned out and everyone cannot believe how little I spent on them. After the amazing job they did on my wedding, I have now gone back to order a wreath for a funeral. I had to arrange it to be delivered one day earlier than originally stated. I called, they happily agreed, and even confirmed with me all other details. You just can't find that level of service and quality just anywhere. Thank you Good Scents! read more

They are sloppy in their customer service and lack professionalism. I spent over $60 on flowers for my mom on her birthday to have them delivered to her on her special day and they left out who they were from. My name and information were on their form on their site. I asked to speak to the manager about half a dozen times and I was ignored, the guy was unapologetic and rude. My mom ended up calling and they didn't return the call right away by then the flowers were almost dead. This place ruin it. I am very fortunate to have our mother today, we try to make every birthday special. They should be put out of business, they don't care about their customers, and try to work things out. Just listen to his tone how he speaks. They only care about profit. read more

I thought I was supporting a local box store florist, so i called to get clarity on an arrangement online and an explanation on what a "wire" fee is...apparently this is a network and there is a minimum of over $100.00 to order plus $35.00. (The arrangement was 65.00...the premium was 75.00- where did min. $100.00 come from?? When I was trying to ask a question, the florist, played dumb and kept saying "hello, hello" as if it was a bad connection. I am glad that I didn't order from here, pretty sure it would of been a problem. Switch and bait much? read more
