I just want to give a shout-out to a local florist for the FABULOUS arrangement they created! A family member from out of town sent me these flowers, and I have to say this is one of the most beautiful arrangements I've ever received. Every bloom is fresh, vibrant, and thoughtfully arranged. I wasn't home when they were delivered, but the driver went above and beyond. They tucked the flowers into a shady spot on my porch so they wouldn't get scorched in the heat, and even used a couple of my Amazon packages to stabilize the vase so it wouldn't tip over. I called this place and spoke with a very nice gentleman (Unfortunately I forgot his name) I had called pretty late to try and order flowers the same day. Being unusually busy, I sadly didn't plan for my daughter-in-law's birthday. I live out of state, and she had just moved to Oakley. I wanted to send get well flower arrangments to my aunt in Rio Vista. I called and researched florists in and around Rio Vista and was unlucky. Some didn't have the style I was looking for, and others had very few options. I called florists in Fairfield and Vacaville, and they said Rio vista was too far. Luckily, I found good scents in Oakley. They were kind enough to do the delivery as long as the flowers purchased was over $120. So I placed the order, and the flowers arrived a few days later. My aunt cried when she received the delivery. It was massive, beautiful, and worth every single dollar and more. I wish I had a real picture of it but the pic attached is the smaller version of the one I sent. The flower arrangement purchased was 3X bigger than this picture as so my aunt said. Called on a late Thursday for an arrangement on a Sunday. They are closed on Sundays and we were coming from out of town camping until Sunday for a celebration of life. I had nowhere to store the flowers for the service on Sunday. Steve was so kind and met me at the shop Sunday in the morning. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and stayed fresh. They are sloppy in their customer service and lack professionalism. I spent over $60 on flowers for my mom on her birthday to have them delivered to her on her special day and they left out who they were from. My name and information were on their form on their site. I asked to speak to the manager about half a dozen times and I was ignored, the guy was unapologetic and rude. My mom ended up calling and they didn't return the call right away by then the flowers were almost dead. This place ruin it. I am very fortunate to have our mother today, we try to make every birthday special. They should be put out of business, they don't care about their customers, and try to work things out. I thought I was supporting a local box store florist, so i called to get clarity on an arrangement online and an explanation on what a "wire" fee is...apparently this is a network and there is a minimum of over $100.00 to order plus $35.00.
